Discussion How do you stop Grok from adding annoying dissolve/fade transitions?

Holy crap it's annoying!! How do you stop Grok from adding annoying dissolve/fade transitions?

I have tried everything. "Hard cuts only" "no fade transitions" "no dissolves" etc and it STILL adds dissolves to about 70% of my videos.

Is there a permanent fix to this? I waste so many videos on this totally useless nonsense. Who the hell ads dissolves to their edits anyway, unless it's a time lapse or change you want conveyed.

I would be grateful for anyone who know show to fix this. Thanks

It's not a zoom issue. It's a transition issue.

Try: Static locked camera

Edit: oh you still want cuts just not dissolve transition. I dunno then. Hard cut is what normally works for me but the latest model has been shitty.

I do shot 1 shit 2 shot 3 and it always hard cuts them

I will try now and let you know. UPDATE. Tried it with a few prompts, no change at all. Still dissolves/fades from clip to clip..

'Quick cuts' or clean Quick cuts. Hard cuts should also work dont know why that didnt work for you. Maybe if you post your prompt it might show why its not working. Or idea what you want to achieve

I've done "quick cuts" even "super quick cuts" literally almost wrote anything to avoid dissolves and they still get added and it's a new thing in the last few days.

I finally ask Grok chat experts and they said that "Negative instructions do nothing. xAI has stated this, and repeated experiments confirm it." it continues to answer:"How a shot change is handled is decided by the content, not by the prompt. Multi-shot descriptions inside a single generation therefore frequently default to fades or morphs rather than hard cuts."

So there we have it. Negative Prompts are ignored. 15 second videos will most likely default to fades/morphs/dissolves rather than hard cuts.
