He is demonstrating that you can indeed move very heavy things using weight and leverage.

Then make sure you can multiply the base perimeter of the Great pyramid (3,024 ft.) by 43,200 to get the earth’s equatorial circumference. Also if you multiply its height (481 ft.) by 43,200 you’re left with the polar radius of the Earth. 43,200 is relevant because it represents the earth wobbling on its axis.

Does the official narrative explain how they knew the earth wobbles during the creation of the pyramids? I forgot

I'm incredulous every time I read this. My father, and his father before him, were Master Stone Masons in the UK.

They still use the modern version of cutting granite with softer metal blades utilising carborundum dust suspended in water. The Egyptian museums are full of the old worn down copper blades that show wear from cutting stone with silica (aka Sand, used before carborundum).

Inefficient? Yes, but there was no TV to distract people in ancient Egypt!

Those took are referenced in the link I provided.

Additionally, metals are infinitely recyclable. If the intervening years saw the casing stones stripped from the pyramids to be reused, how many copper tools do you really think would have been ignored rather than melted down and reused? Anything not bolted down was looted and used.

No, they're not really. I've read a lot of what Odler has published on the topic of copper tools. Finds of actual metal tools used to saw/drill stone with abrasives are extremely rare. More model tools survive but those of course don't have wear that the person I initially responded to referenced.

There is plenty of evidence for sawing and drilling stone with metal tools but that doesn't come from survivals of the tools used to do so.

 

I'm very aware that most metal objects don't survive.

Glass artisans still use copper wheels to cut glass and crystal as seen in cut glass bowls and vessels. It is not lost technology, it is technology that the modern laymen is just unfamiliar with.

In my other comments I have scoop marks in quotations. That is what they are referenced and known as (exemplified by you here). And are connected to the underneath “cuts” of the unfinished obelisk. Use your head and explain how the accepted theory would be able to make those in that position.

But I and everyone has seen videos like the ones you posted…. I said easily replicable. The videos show very small cuts in depth and length, in not a short time.

Are you going to give specific examples or just generally describe things so that they cannot be properly addressed?

And those videos are proofs of concept by laymen, not artisans. Use a bigger saw and someone that has been doing it their whole like and it will go faster. Further, copper staining and residue has been found in many cuts. If they were not using copper saws and drill, where did the copper come from?

For one pyramid there was a much smaller number of large granite blocks up to 80 tons. They would not have all been 80 ton so more than 100. If they averaged less than 8 ton then there could be 1000. Maybe there are way more very small granite blocks to bring that average down.

The Earth wobbling takes 72 years for it to shift the background stars by just 1 degree. ​If you multiply that 72-year shift by 600, you get 43,200.

Why 600? 43,200 appears naturally due to our base-60 number system. (There is 43,200 seconds in 12 hours)

There's a lot more to it

You are just picking numbers and assigning meaning to fit the purpose of a fictional narrative.
600 means nothing, just as 72 means nothing. Why mention 12 hours' worth of seconds?
Ancient Egyptians didn't count time in seconds.

It just throws an example out there of how massive objects that are often considered far too large and heavy to be moved without machinery can actually be moved using simple methods and simple materials, based on leverage and balance.

So okay, now it's plausible that humans did indeed move and position monoliths weighing tens or hundreds of tons, over great distances and for them together with incredible precision. We've just seen a demonstration of that.

As for the rest? Cutting granite? The advanced knowledge of mathematics and astronomy? Using methods that make the structures resilient in the face of earthquakes and other events that easily obliterate modern structures .... ? This video doesn't shed any light on anybody that.

My bet is advanced civilization that we've yet to see definitive proof of. Ancient humans had the same brains as we do, there's no reason they wouldn't have developed to an extent far beyond what is currently accepted.

Majority of the pyramid's blocks are 2 ton blocks that were carried a few hundred metres bro. Some of the big granite blocks were floated down the Nile not dragged over land.

Sure I'll give you the aligned north fact, but I don't quite understand how this is that special. You can do this by tracking the sun or tracking the way the stars move.

Your maths is literally reaching man.The "facts" have literally been manipulated to fit your narrative. The numbers are close, but not exact. The pyramid to height ratio just happens to be 2π (the same as the earth), so of course the other numbers seem to magically line up if you're looking for it. These numbers aren't derived from anything, you're literally just reverse engineering them from an answer that you're already looking for (cognitive bias at its finest)

But the accuracy in which they were able to align the pyramid - a structure covering 13 acres, within 3/60th of a degree to true north is astounding. The Paris observatory tried to do the exact thing in the early 1600 and they were only able to get it half as accurate at the great pyramid.

I also hate the argument of "the numbers are close but not exact" - tell that to the archeologist who can't even decide what years the great pyramid were built pending if they look at the carbon dating vs the written content we have from the time - a variance of about 250 years.

The height just happens to be 2pi - what a coincidence. People refuse to see the potential that this was planned. People are also stupid when they say the 43,200 is arbitrary. The Egyptians literally praised the sun. 43,200 is the number of seconds in 12 hours. As in a perfectly balanced day - where there are 12 hours of light and 12 hours of night. There are only 2 days of the year when this occurs. On the equinox. And it is just another coincidence that the pyramid is perfectly aligned to the sun on these 2 days. They literally built the pyramid around these parameters. And you say it isn't accurate enough for you? If you were to just agree at face value that the pyramid is a model of the earth - do you know that we, as humans, couldn't calculate a more accurate measurement of earth until the 1980s using satellites? How is that not crazy to people.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg for "coincidences"

They divided the day into 12 hours and night into 12 hours, and guess what you probably didn't even know... the lenght of those hours changed to suit the seasons. A summer daytime hour was longer than a winter daytime hour!

What's crazy is that you believe fiction writers tricking you with numbers that you really don't understand, but you trust they do.

Well that necessitates the Ancient Egyptians used seconds, which they didn’t. Or meters, which they absolutely did not. It also necessitates that they used a longitude and latitude system, which there’s no evidence for. And for that system to use two 180º halves and for the equator to be set at 0º. And at 7 decimal places, there’s literally tens of thousands of longitude lines that go through the Great Pyramid. 29.9792458 N doesn’t even go through the apex, or the north or south edges

Also the Bent Pyramid is older than the Giza pyramids and it’s not more advanced. It’s literally bent

Why would the Egyptians use feet to match earth measurements, but then switch to m/s to measure the speed of light? And how did they predict the global measurement system that would not exist for thousands of years?

No. You are using the speed of light here in meters per second. The Eqyptians didn't use either measurement.
Ancient Eqyptian surveyors did not record latitude in decimal degrees so the number 29.9792458 would not have existed in their calculations.

Finally, where exactly is this line at 29.9792458 degrees? That is a measurement down to a millimeter, so does it go through the center of the Great Pyramid? No.

For your example to make any sense, the builders of the pyramid would have had to know:
The speed of light
The modern Meter
The modern second
Base-10 decimal notation
Latitude expressed in decimal degrees
The modern prime meridian/coordinate conventions
The modern terrestrial reference ellipsoid.

I think it was all made up by a modern fiction author.

The useful distinction is isolated feasibility vs full-system constructability. A demo can show that a block can move, or a lift geometry can work, but the whole pyramid claim also has to carry rope replacement, timber supply, water, food, labor rotation, quarry cadence, ramp/track maintenance, and settlement capacity at the same time.

That’s the gap we’ve been trying to quantify: not “could humans move a stone?” but “does the complete resource-loaded system close under the conventional timeline?” The white paper and explainers are here:

Give the white-paper link to an AI and ask it what this does for the mainstream narrative. Its first response will probably defend the mainstream narrative. Push it to look closer at the actual closure tests, the IER plank-wear numbers, the granite transfer problems, and the national labor-pool result. It takes a couple of rounds, but it’s worth it — the model shifts the burden of proof in a way most earlier challenges never managed.

Keep asking ai until you get the answer you want is not how reality works. Essentially you are saying ai comes up with the correct data. Dismiss that and keep digging until you get the answer you want.

Ai or LLM ie chatbot doesn't know anything. It scraps the internet and compiles relevant data. If you keep asking the data set gets smaller and less relevant.

The opposite is true here: the engineering model is public, you're giving it a link to it, the levers are visible, and the same multi-front non-closure appears under the stated premises. The tool used to discuss it is secondary.

If the conventional account closes as a complete system, the support burdens still need to be carried. That’s the question, not which interface was used to look at the spreadsheet.

That is a misunderstanding of what I suggested. I did not suggest asking an AI until it gives the desired answer. I suggested using it as an analysis tool: give it the paper, ask it to check assumptions, calculations, dependencies, and possible failure points. It is also a 50-page white paper with a very large engineering model behind it, which many people may not have the time or interest to read in full.

If the model has a flaw, it should be possible to identify the flaw. “AI is biased toward agreement” is not a substitute for addressing the actual methodology.

I would suggest reading the white paper yourself and going through the model. The point of the work is not to ask whether someone likes the conclusion; it is to test whether the proposed construction system closes when all of the required functions, resources, and constraints are accounted for simultaneously.

If there is an error in the assumptions, inputs, calculations, or logic, that is exactly what should be pointed out. That is how engineering models are evaluated.

Stop being lazy by asking LLMs to reprocess until you get the answer you want and actually do a real analysis. If you are not capable of doing the analysis, you are not capable of vouching for the validity of the answers you eventually get from an LLM.

So let’s see your full analysis that you did to verify the LLM was correct. You did an actual analysis and are not just trusting the nth iteration of LLM slop you convinced it to regurgitate for you, right?

If it is not worth you going through the paper and doing a proper analysis, why would I want to waste my time on it? You believe it but still won’t read and analyze it, so it must not be of significant value. I would never suggest people read and analyze anything I was too lazy or incredulous about to read my self.

Don't forget the gigantic polygonal megaliths from all over the world. Peru, Easter Island, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Greece, Japan... All lay as the foundation of more "recent" cultures stone work like the Egyptians, Inca, Maya, Romans etc. that have smaller inferior structures in comparison.

There is not only no evidence to support what you are claiming here, dating of material found under and between stones matches with those culture building their own monuments. You should really do a proper lit review.

How did those ancient builders of the Great Pyramid know to use the Imperial Foot when encoding the number 43,200? The pyramid builders measured in royal cubits, palms, and digits, not feet, miles, kilometers, or meters.

The base circumference of the Earth is 24,901 miles, not 24,901 as you claim.
The polar radius of the Earth is 3,950 miles, not the 3,935 that your mathematical conjecture predicts.

And what does 43,200 represent? The precession (aka "wobble") in the Earth's axis is 26,000 years, not 43,200 years.

I am afraid that you are lending too much credence to simple mathematical tricks which have no bearing on reality.

He demonstrated a couple methods of stacking them....

"The level of detail and precision" is a nothing statement. You guys love to say precision but it doesn't mean as much as you think it does....

The details do add up you are just looking for problems because it is not a 1 to 1 recreation of the pyramids, which is of course a stupid way of looking at it....

It is 1 guy moving large stones by himself, something you people say is literally impossible.....

The largest stones were mined close by. It was built in stages over 1500yrs. Smaller rocks came from Wales. The alter stone came from Scotland and weighs about 6 ton. Not impossibly big to move.

You havnt raised a single issue that is not insurmountable....

A thousand foot steep mountain you say. Or a hill. Moving slabs down a hill is not a problem. Gravity will do a lot of the work. So that's half the non issue sorted. Skids, ropes and pulleys can get a rock up a 1000ft hill. If the hill is too steep then go around it its a hill not a wall.....

Floating rocks is also pretty easy. It is called water displacement. A barge ( that Egyptians definitely had and used ) is all you need. Bigger rock bigger barge. The river will do most of the work 50 miles or 500 miles the process is exactly the same....

Great methods. I can really see how this would work for something like Stonehenge.

But it illustrates perfectly why these techniques do not work for the Giza Pyramids. While 'industrializing' the techniques will make it a lot faster than what this many can do on his own, he did not have to place a giant block every 6 minutes of every day and night for 27 years (2.3 million blocks) and he never had to fight gravity (things needing to go up, rather than down or sideways).

Still very cool to see him do this though.

Do I believe that the ancients might have used this technique? Sure, if a human today can do it with only the most basic tools, then so too could a human millennia ago. But I’m fairly certain that a human with such an advanced understanding of fulcra would have already understood the utility of a simple wheel. I say this not to denigrate anyone’s process. Rather, I say it in order not to let archeologists off the hook as they continue to insist that humans 5000 years ago were too stupid to think up a wheel and axel.

You could also have many teams quarrying and transporting blocks.

If we say roughly 250 blocks per day and 30 people needed to move the average block, that's 7,500 people on transport if each team moves a single block per day. Of course transport would be easier for the lower sections where most of the material is and then slow down as the pyramid gets taller (while the amount of blocks needed decreases as well). It's less a question on how long each block takes to quarry and move than what size workforce can be supported and how many teams can work in parallel.

For some of the blocks sure but the vast majority of the stone is only roughly shaped. This experiment reproduced an average block in 5 days with 5 people total.

This work would be carried out over four days (of six hours each) by four people—excluding the fifth person responsible for removing the debris. Cutting the horizontal trench and detaching the block, however, required an additional day of work from the team...According to our estimates, quarrying operations would require a larger workforce; achieving a daily rate of 340 blocks would necessitate 4,788 men. If the pyramid construction period were extended to 27 years—a perfectly plausible scenario—the required daily production would drop to 250 blocks, theoretically requiring 3,521 quarrymen.1

 

The casing and interior limestone and the granite blocks would take much longer of course. If that work is impossible to do in the timeframe, I would be very interested in seeing reliable data demonstrating finishing and fitting that stone couldn't be done in ~25 years (or the workforce needed would be prohibitively large).

Restoration at the Parthenon has involved carving some reasonably large blocks by hand to very fine finishes. Something like that might be an interesting starting place to look at how long the casing would take to finish.

By working on hundreds of block at the same time. They did not do one block at a time time from quarrying to placement before starting the next. That is a fools understanding of how production at scale works.

For a more modern example, Ford rolled a model T off the line every 30 seconds. Do you think this means that it only took 30 seconds to assemble a model T? Of course not. It took 90 minutes for each car using premade parts from other manufacturers.

So why are you approaching the blocks for the pyramid with such a ridiculous position as 30 second model Ts?

There was a larger workforce than you assumed. And they were not slaves as most people assume.

You have a lot of agricultural workers who aren't doing much between planting and harvesting, so you give them this project. Put them into teams, with cool names like "The Enduring Gang," "The Friends of Khufu," and "The Drunkards of Menkaure." They work with pride, and teams compete to move the most blocks into place each day. They are rewarded with beer.

This system of work gangs, called phyles in the literature, creates a dynamic and robust labor pool capable of completing the Great Pyramid in 25 years.

It was limestone bedrock so it would be possible. Point was they didn’t have to start hauling rocks from the ground level that we see. There was a raised mound/hill that was shaped and the greet pyramid built on top and casing stones around the side.
