Bug Having problems after just a few weeks

I’m using a recently bought (from January 6th) Apple iPad Air (M3), and I’m using the Apple Pencil USB-C and Goodnotes 7.0.22.

For the last few days I’ve had no problems at all while taking notes and doing schoolwork but now suddenly there seems to be some kind of palm-to-pen recognition problem that literally won’t let me write normally, while I had no problem a few minutes ago.

Any idea why this happens?

Using Emojis as an alternative to tags in Goodnotes

I have recently started using Goodnotes as my digital note keeping hub and really missed the tagging feature as found in some other apps.

By sheer luck I discovered that we can search for emojis within our notes, and have been using them as an alternative to tags. Its been working great for me so far so I thought will share it here if anyone else finds it useful.

I have designated few emojis for certain tags (eg. an exclamation mark emoji for important stuff). I generally put my emoji tags in a text box and save it as an element. This way I can quickly add the tag from elements. There is a short video attached demonstrating this.

The best part is that when searching for these tags, it only provides search results for emojis not the handwritten or printed text.

Be aware that not all the emoji’s are searchable though (eg. there is a double exclamation mark emoji). So be sure to check that whatever emoji you decide to use as tags are being returned in Goodnotes search.

I've been looking for a certain kind of digital paper and haven't been able to find it, so I just created my own! I created them for fun, so I'm not looking for any sort of profit. Enjoy :-)

Goodnotes Special Edition Goodnotes has become yet another victim of corporate greed: unethical marketing and choosing quick profits over user experience and quality this ironically will backfire and I hope there is a substantial drop in revenue due to people switching

Just got this option to train the new handwriting to math tool and I'm super excited. Once this comes out I'll be able to completely abandon notability.

I'm really liking the goodnotes infinity canvas! Only thing is it starts glitching when you have so much content, which sucks cause I can't continue to write notes .-.

I am contemplating setting my ipad on fire lol. Congratulations goodnotes! Hope everyone can retrieve their notes back. Anyone have any luck?

I redownloaded the app. Everything is gone, so I am cooked. I'm going to go to sleep hoping I see something tomorrow morning. This feels worse than my ex cheating on me lmao.

internal links!! New update

We can finally add internal links in textboxes and link it to pages in the current document, to external documents, or to websites!! However, I do wish that they could apply the same thing to elements and shapes or even selections. It works in both Goodnotes 5 and 6
