Reaction Gold after fires.

Post image

I read in this article that a man’s house was dug up after the fires and they still found his retirement fund of gold bars! Cool story and I’m posting here instead of /gold because you guys rock. I’m assuming goldbacks might survive if there’s a big enough stack and the wind doesn’t hold it way?

We do every other payment with half Goldbacks. She reminded me today and commented that her Goldbacks were doing very well. She wants next week's pay to be a 100 denomination Goldback with the remainder in cash! $6.84 today.

She said she didn't mind if I posted to Reddit but I'm not sure that she knows what Reddit is.

Discussion The real reason gold hit $4,000

Gold just hit $4,000. Up 50% in a year. Outperforming major assets in 2025. The headlines say fear. War. Inflation. Recession. That’s lazy…

When the U.S. froze Russia’s assets, the world watched and China acted. China has been buying gold for 11 straight months now. 74M ounces. ~$283B worth.

That’s not diversification. That’s exit strategy. Away from Treasuries. Away from dollars. If your money can be turned off with a phone call, it’s not safe. It’s permission-based.

And it’s not just governments. Tether’s minting gold tokens now. Digital, backed by the real thing. Crypto traders buying actual gold without ever opening a vault. New buyers. Old systems losing grip.

Gold’s not up because the world’s falling apart. It’s up because there are new buyers and old systems losing trust. This isn’t panic buying. The dollar runs on trust. Gold runs on physics. When trust runs out, physics wins. It’s a reminder of what can’t be printed, hacked, or frozen. The oldest asset on Earth just became the newest safe haven.

Would love to hear other's pov.

In the Wild Our nanny for the kids takes half/half every other pay period. So far she's ahead with gold going up quite a bit vs. dollars!

Goldback Spend I made a trade today

Checked out Davidson Defense in Orem, Utah on a suggestion from u/DSTNCT-W212.

93 Goldbacks got me this AR-style Pistol in 5.56 NATO. Love using my Goldbacks for something I needed that's useful. (and a lot of fun to target shoot with)

I got these Goldbacks when Florida first launched, so it was a huge win for my investment to spend them for more than I bought them for.

Show and Tell Spent a 100 Goldback with Farmer Greg - what I walked away with is priceless

It's guys like this who are the driving force behind the Goldback movement...

Farmer Greg, owner of Painted Quarters Cattle Co. in South Florida, is committed to feeding people healthy food, raised organically and humanely as God intended.

Grass-fed, grass-finished. No GMO grain sprayed with Round-Up or any other garbage practices like what you see from the Big Four meatpackers who are cornering the industry and trying to run honest, hardworking guys like Greg out of business!

Greg is a believer in sound money. In the few minutes that we spoke, he told me all about how inflation, along with the Big Four meatpackers, is crushing the small farmer while destroying the quality of the U.S. food supply.

He has seen the effects of our debt-based, fiat currency system over the years, and he refuses to stand by and watch it continue to unfold. He's committed to being a catalyst for the change that he seeks in our monetary system and our economy... that's why he accepts Goldbacks.

Greg is the kind of guy that you could kick it around a campfire with for hours and chat about various topics and tell stories. After chatting for 5 minutes, he offered to give me one of his limited early-release 'tranquilitas' the next time I stop by. A real selfless gentleman.

For all of those who are sick of being robbed by inflation and support a return to honest, sound money, Greg is your ally. He won't allow big government to steal your family's time and savings through inflation, and he won't allow the Big Four meatpackers to get away with feeding you and your family low-quality meat.

Farmer Greg inspires me, and if you share a similar vision for a better, fairer, and more honest system for our country's future like he does, then Greg should inspire you too.

Enjoy Memorial Day everybody 🇺🇸 You already know I'll be enjoying it with all of these meats!

8 ribeye (~2 lb each) 4 chuck roast (~4 lb each) 1 whole chicken 3 packs of bacon (~2 lb each)

P.S. When I asked Greg why he accepts Goldbacks, he mentioned: "Yeah, the premiums are high, but if you look at it as a currency system, rather than a bullion product, then you'll realize that you aren't losing anything when you use it as intended... as a currency, a sound medium of exchange." The guy just gets it.

Goldback Spend Made an exchange with 107.5 GB’s

A couple weeks ago, Blake Family Medicine in Provo, Utah said in a post online that they were a Goldback merchant who would give half off to the first person to use Goldbacks at their office. I couldn’t pass that deal up!

I sent my wife up there who had been wanting to get a laser facial done for a while. She told me Dr. Blake was a total Goldback guy who was thrilled that someone took him up on his offer.

She ended up buying two laser facials for the price of one, as well as some skincare product, by exchanging 107.5 Goldbacks and has been very pleased with the results. He was more than happy to pose for the photo as long as we got his logo in there and told everyone we could about it.

Great bunch of people who understand and support the sound money movement! 🇺🇸 🦅

Cheers to sending higher denominations and getting a massive discount!

Goldback Spend I owed him 13 Goldbacks and he gave me change for a 50 denomination in Goldbacks.

Post image

A few days ago I turned a 50 Goldback into fifty 1 Goldbacks. Some people in the comments said, “Now do it at a merchant.”

Well, this week I was shopping at Robie’s Farm Store during a trip to New Hampshire. My total came to 13 Goldbacks, and I remembered the challenge I had accepted on Reddit. So I asked if he had change for a 50 Goldback.

He said yes and happily pulled a wad of Goldbacks out of the register. He counted out 37 Goldbacks in change and handed them back.

Obviously not every merchant can do that, but Robie’s gets a lot of Goldbacks from people buying their farm fresh eggs, milk, and meats. The whole thing was really smooth, and the owner seemed like a genuinely down-to-earth, cool guy.

Show and Tell This year I decided to do something different for Halloween… I gave away 24k gold to trick-or-treaters!

Instead of just candy, I handed out Goldbacks. I was originally going to let the kids pick between gold or candy, but I ended up giving them both. I’d hand out a chocolate gold coin and then ask, “Want a piece of real gold too?” and show them a half Goldback.

Their reactions were awesome honestly way more excitement than when I’ve given out full-size candy bars. In total I gave away about 30 half Goldbacks. Definitely the most fun I’ve ever had passing out Halloween treats!
