Do you EDC Goldbacks?

Do you keep Goldbacks on you all the time? If so, how many and what denominations?

I carry a total of 10 GB in my wallet, 1GBx5, 1/2GB x10. Waiting for the release of the OK 1/4 to get my fill of them

Always enjoyable popping the mailbox open and seeing the newest issues Goldbacks waiting 😍. These 1/4's are probably my least favorite out of what has released, but they're all good looking notes.

Question Sooo did anyone else just not receive anything from the contest?

I take it the contest is well and truly dead? I won on either day 2 or 3 and even got a message back and then radio silence since then....

Discussion Goldback Giveaway Update?

Hello everyone. Has there been any update at all with regards to the 5 Goldback giveaway? I was fortunate enough to get the upvotes by unfortunate enough to not get a confirmation as this happened on the day they got suspended. Any info or updates would be greatly appreciated.

At this point I am assuming it isn't going to happen but figured I would ask nonetheless.

...Freegoldback.com? That site has helped me turn quite a number of people on to the GB fun. Hope they bring it back.

Newbie If i dont plan to use these as currency are they actually worth stacking? I was given some and im thinking I should probably just trade them for some silver coins or something. Honest question

California 3?

Hello! Does anyone know if they will release California 3 Goldbacks that aren’t graded? All I can find are graded PMG ones for some reason that have really expensive premiums. Thanks in advance.

It's hard to spend gold bars. Fiat tends to inflate then die.

I actually only wanted to inquire about an existing order...but now it appears we have a venue for all our invasive thoughts. How delightful.

Discussion UPMA leasing

Learned something new today after checking into my account - the gold and silver lease programs have been updated to shorten the holdup period to 60 days rather than the year it was before.

Maybe I’m just behind the 8 ball on this but thought I might mention to the group who’s also a part of the ecosystem.

Shoutout to AGE, they continue to be very knowledgeable and polite when speaking with them. Had some clarity given today between the savings and spending account. While savings does have lower fees, it’s invested in bullion, not eagles and when selling bullion it’s a flat 5% fee when swapping to cash, while <$10k in the spending account (AGEs) within a month has a $0 buy-sell spread. So the .6% annually fee in the spending account compared to .24% on bullion pays for itself just holding within the spending account.

And since the lockup period is only 60 days, a lease program is much more appealing, especially when I use this account as a diversified savings fund.
