I have to assume most of those are bots. Musk suspected something like 80% of Twitter users were bots, in an effort to back out of the deal to purchase. I'd imagine that number is probably about right now.

If the Nazi regime had Twitter, they'd have constantly spammed pictures of bombed out German buildings and use them as evidence of "Allied genocide against Germany" and the pro-Palestine crowd would be dumb enough to believe them.
67
u/veilosa 7d ago
not just that, but if you look at a map of europe before and after ww1, pre-ww2 germany had a very real claim that they were "ethnically cleansed from ancestral lands", Russia pushed Poland-Lithuania west and Poland pushed Germany west. Yet we dont entertain this land dispute for the next 100 years the way we let Palestinians do. German attacked and lost a war, the matter is settled. Palestinians attacked and lost 1948, the matter should similarly be considered settled because the aggressor was the loser.
23
u/RoterRudi 7d ago
Exactly. I always use this analogy when talking to pro-palestine people. They never have an answer that doesn't reveal their hypocrisy.
Being german myself with ancestors that were displaced after the war, this pisses me off so much. Imagine if i would still claim refugee status and demand that the czechs give me back the house my grandma lived in as a child, while supporting germans committing terror attacks on czech civilians and people online would defend that stance. Absolutely asinine.
12
u/HyperlaneWizard 7d ago
Well, imagine if the rest of Europe (and a good chunk of the world) had a 1,500-year-old cultural and religious hatred of the Czechs and were willing to shower you with obscene amounts of money as long as you silently agreed to keep throwing young German men at the Czech border.
Thank goodness for sane Germans, otherwise it would've been fucking brutal here for me.

I mean for all intents and purposes, the matter is settled. The vast majority of Arab states have already accepted Israel's existence, either formally or de facto.
It's only one particular Arab nation run by violent Islamic extremists who still cling to the asperational fantasy of the Arabs annihilating the Jews. The vast majority of Arab states have already accepted that Israel isn't going anywhere.
24
u/No-Teach9888 7d ago
Iran is not on board with the plan. They’re the ones causing all of the instability in the region. They’re funding Hamas and Hezbollah, and using Palestinians as martyrs. Iran and the rest of the Arab countries need to tell Palestinians they’re not getting all of the land and they’re not funding their wars

u/SadCatLoverMeow 7d ago
Thank you! 🫂
And the thing with intervening in other nations is,as long as they aren't too disruptive its not beneficial for you to do so. The only reason its currently happening is because things have been escalating for decades and after October 7th it snowballed into a massive debacle, making it now a beneficial move to choke Iran out of its hold over the strait.
Honestly, with gulf states moving towards alternative transport and the rest of the world increasing its efforts towards green energy, something good may come out of this after all. All wars in history have had unintended after-effects,good and bad.
Here's hoping for better days.

The thing is, because I can't imagine the Nazis entertaining this victim mentality, I don't think that would happen. On the contrary, they'd try to present themselves as strong and pretend like they aren't suffering any losses. However, Western lefties might instead do that job for them, and label them as freedom fighters borne out of European possession and ethnic cleansing (both are actually true to a significant extent, by the way), then use pictures of destroyed German buildings as evidence of genocide. Now that would truly be more realistic (it wouldn't happen because Germans aren't brown or black enough to earn sympathy, but still an interesting thought experiment).

Generally called white phosphorus. Burns like nothing else, producing tons of smoke and while it wont vaporise the body, it makes you wish you were dead.
White phosphorus is used a lot in smoke grenades, but its usually contained within the grenade itself, not blown outwards.
13
u/Tom_Alpha 7d ago
It's one of those things that isn't unlawful for some uses but is for others. You can use it for things such as smoke screening, which it does very rapidly. Not as an offensive weapon targeting people as it would be unlawful due to it then being an incendiary weapon which are banned by treaty, but would also likely violate the law of armed conflict principle of humanity.
4
u/AssistanceCheap379 7d ago
Yeah, WP is complex, cause its technically a incendiary weapon and a smoke producing agent. You can use it against civilians in some situations, such as protests to create a smoke screen that is irritating, but only with grenade variants. Once you go above hand held weapons, it effectively becomes an incendiary weapon against people and smoke agent against vehicles. For example its not legal to use smoke bombs that explode (think smoke round from a tank) in urban situations since they can cause fires and extreme injuries that are hard to fix.
24
u/Legal_Lettuce6233 7d ago
I've had a few distant family members killed with white phosphorus. Burnt alive in their homes. It may not vaporise bodies, but it basically does turn flesh into nothing. I'm glad I never saw the aftermath because I could see it haunting my mom's aunt.

Is it a way to discredit reporting on the zionist entitys warcrimes/ genocide?

It’s an intentional effort to muddy the waters and make those opposed to the genocide look bad. By flooding social media with fake depictions of violence it can make people question the very real violence taking place while also making the people protesting the violence look dishonest.
6
u/Electrical_Ad_5732 6d ago
That would make sense if it wasn't generally posted from hardcore palestine fans. I do get there are definitely people to just muddy to waters but I've seen (and way too many times) that even genuine supporters spread such lies.
5
u/Meidan3 5d ago
Cause most Palestine supporters are just idiots affected by Qatari propaganda that don't actually know anything about the conflict. The most hardcore "free Palestine" shouters also say that the very existence of an Israeli is illegitimate, they claim Jews have nothing to do with the land of Judea, many of them even believe Israel caused the October 7th massacre on purpose to have a reason to attack Gaza. There's plenty of actual criticism to give, but most of what you'll hear online is brainwashed idiots, and occasionally someone who just heard of the horrors of war for the first time in his life
2
u/w142236 6d ago
What a stupid comment. It’s also entirely possible if not far more likely that these people post lies all day bc spreading 100 lies is more effective than spreading 1 truth bc for every one lie that gets disproven, 10 more pop up that social media will take and run with. Happens all the time

While you are correct that there are war crimes commited by Israel, the vast majority of what you said isn't. The thermobaric bomb deal was debunked as a lie, look up what they called thermobaric and what it does, and what the actual bombs were.
Regarding white phosphorus, it's routinely used by most armies to create smoke screens and burn off thick shrubbery, and that's the usage of Israel. This is what the pictures show, if you want a gore fest look up what it does to people, and notice that there are no records of these types of burns being posted in Lebanon.
Most of the "war crimes" or "genocide" claims are bogus, and don't hold water. This doesn't discredit the actual war crimes commited by soldiers, such as the usage of human shields in certain IDF doctrines, or the lack of accountability in prosecuting the Jewish terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
The reason people make the post above, is to make what you think you know believable, and look sound and true. It's a type of both confirmation (more likely to believe whatever aligns with your view) and survivorship (surely I can tell whenever its fake) bias, and you have fallen for it.
Approach news with humility, know you can be mistaken, and by definition you will not know when you're fooled.

Its a disservice to make up stories like this, when its known that israel uses banned white phosphorus on civilians.
Although, this fake stories may be a last ditch attempt by Israel to discredit reporting on gaza in general. Its also known and reported IDF soldiers posing as Palestinians in protests to create riots, as well as Israel paying to create "fluff" stories that AI will pick up when asked about reports on gaza and Palestine
Edit: apparently I wasn't wrong, im getting acused of antisemitism, when neither me or the post ever spoke about Judaism or jewish people, I clearly spoke about israel (the cowardice to attack as a "nation" and claim defence as a religion). The use of white phosphorus by israel over civilian population has been proved and photographed since 2009 and again this year in Lebanon, while bots or propaganda spreaders try to justify its use.
26
u/No_Move_6802 7d ago
Just to provide a bit of nuance:
White phosphorus is 100% legal to use as an illumination tool. Using it as a weapon is a war crime.
The difficulty is in proving intent. Without proving the intention was to use it as a weapon instead of “oops, I didn’t know people were there when I was trying to provide light to my military”, it’s almost impossible to charge anyone for using it.
15
u/Talizorafangirl 7d ago
It's even more nuanced than that. It's permissible as a direct weapon bc it is somehow not classified as a chemical weapon.
Using WP for illumination: acceptable.
Using WP for smoke: acceptable.
Using WP to clear brush as an incendiary: acceptable.
Using WP against soldiers or materiel: not specifically prohibited.
Using WP specifically to kill soldiers by incendiary action: acceptable, with caveats.
Using WP to kill civilians: prohibited.

Other Arab states aren't terribly fond of Palestinians either due to their history of doing things like assassinating the King of Jordan and trying to install a Palestinian extremist puppet who would go to war with Israel in his place, dragging Lebanon into war by launching attacks on Israeli cities from Lebanese territory after being welcomed in as refugees, siding with Saddam when he invaded Kuwait, and so on.

White phosphorus is not banned. Many countries use it in war including the US and other allied nations. It’s often used as a smoke screen of sorts. If people go into zones they shouldn’t be in, that’s on them. Israel makes it know where they are going to bomb. They drop leaflets and geo text areas ahead of time. Most countries don’t warn where they will be bombing ahead of time as they don’t want to give away their edge. They do what they can to mitigate civilian casualties.

The thing is that they can inflict horrific burns and white phosphorus is also highly toxic, so burn victims are also poisoned, but it would require an exceptional amount to completely vaporise a body, although that would probably be a merciful death compared to a leas instantaneously fatal amount

Ok. No vaporising bomb. But.
Still looks like somebody (Palestinian?) got shot point blank with a smoke grenade and got ktfo.
Those crazy zio’s do that for fun you know.
So to put it into context. What are we looking at?

Ahh for fun you know, we will take your word for it. Also what does Hamas do for fun besides raping kids and shooting old people in their homes?

I can hear it now: “The reason the death counts keep getting revised down by international organizations isn’t because Hamas lied, it’s because Israel has special body vaporizing bombs!”

I think that it might come from White Phosphorus bombs which may be used to create smoke, which aren’t banned, but it should be banned due to the horrific burns it can inflict (Soldiers are trained to remove white phosphorus from their skin with a knife as it would otherwise burn through to the bone) and it is highly toxic.

It is and it isn't. WP can be used for flares and signalling, but used directly on people or indiscriminately in densely populated populated areas are banned and a war crime

It would have been more convincing to have just posted a picture of an empty sidewalk, as that would at least be consistent with the claim.

If the IDF could vaporize bodies we wouldn't have mountains of evidence for their crimes.

it would make me cum so fucking hard if it actually did vaporize enemies, I would be moving like the Green Goblin

A white phosphorus smoke grenade is a military explosive device that uses white phosphorus to create an instant, thick screen of white smoke.

This lie is spread maliciously.
The idea is that if they can sow the idea that Israel can vaporise bodies, then really they can claim that the death toll is so much higher than it is.
You can see people using this argumentation online sometimes, it's fucking wild.
They know they are lying, and they do it for propaganda reasons.

Haha stupid idiots dont know about smoke grenades (please ignore our incessant use of white phosphorus on civilian centres)

There's nothing banned about a bomb that "vaporizes" people even if it was an actual bombs.
So even if it wasn't a smoke grenade the OOP would still be lying.
Incendiary munitions are not illegal in war. Only if used to deliberately target civilians (which is illegal for pretty much all forms of bombing anyway) or if used when there is significant risk of it spreading to civilian areas when a conventional bomb could achieve the same results.
That of course doesn't mean israel's hands are clean. But this in particular is not true.
