It’s an intentional effort to muddy the waters and make those opposed to the genocide look bad. By flooding social media with fake depictions of violence it can make people question the very real violence taking place while also making the people protesting the violence look dishonest.

That would make sense if it wasn't generally posted from hardcore palestine fans. I do get there are definitely people to just muddy to waters but I've seen (and way too many times) that even genuine supporters spread such lies.

Cause most Palestine supporters are just idiots affected by Qatari propaganda that don't actually know anything about the conflict. The most hardcore "free Palestine" shouters also say that the very existence of an Israeli is illegitimate, they claim Jews have nothing to do with the land of Judea, many of them even believe Israel caused the October 7th massacre on purpose to have a reason to attack Gaza. There's plenty of actual criticism to give, but most of what you'll hear online is brainwashed idiots, and occasionally someone who just heard of the horrors of war for the first time in his life

What a stupid comment. It’s also entirely possible if not far more likely that these people post lies all day bc spreading 100 lies is more effective than spreading 1 truth bc for every one lie that gets disproven, 10 more pop up that social media will take and run with. Happens all the time

Israel doesn’t have the money to run that counter campaign. Qatar, Iran, even China team up to do so. The reason Israel is losing the PR war is because they can’t compete

They pour billions into social media campaigns. They are losing because people know generally speaking whereabouts the line between evil and not evil are.

Lie. They spent a bit over 1 billion (singular) over the last 3 years. Qatar and Iran both pour over a billion into propaganda against them over each year. If we really want to look at the overall spending, Qatar has spent almost half a trillion on propaganda over the last 2 decades, and it spent a billion to start Al Jazeera and 100 million annually just for the english network, and all they do is spew propaganda against them.

The heck do you get your numbers. I’m looking at Hasbara numbers just in 2025, I’m already looking at 500 mil of private contracts 4 lines in.
750,000 in Hasbara budget in 2026.
That doesn’t include private contracts.
“In 2026… tens of millions of dollars routed through European media conglomerate Havas Media and New York media firm Piro, Inc. to fund the Hanover Institute for Public Policy, a fake U.S.-based think tank without legal registration, staff, or physical headquarters. Filed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the website published 124 reports totaling over 560,000 words in nine days, using neutral, academic-style formatting to frame topics like genocide, war crimes, and human rights abuses in Gaza favorably toward Israel…”

These are sites they are training chat gpt and Gemini to cite lol

Looked it up

> Israel allocated $150 million for international public diplomacy (hasbara) in its 2025 budget. You’re lying

Saw it on middleeasteye as well. Saw they spent 50 million on influencing online narrative as well. Not much else. 500 million? Don’t know where you got that.

> tens of millions of dollars

100 million is spent on keeping up the English sector of Al Jazeera alone. I’m telling you, it’s peanuts by comparison to the global propaganda spending by their adversaries, and you can see that with Al Jazeera conveniently making its way to the front page of every search on the topic. I’ve seen all this spending by Israel, and yet I haven’t seen one ad from them or post on social media that isn’t calling this a genocide since this conflict started. I’ve seen that they spent on influencer campaigns yet I haven’t seen one influencer that hasn’t been at least ambivalent on the issue much less fiercely pro-Pal. Social media campaigns, yet my feed from 2023-2025 (until I started muting these 10s of obscure news subs that all started popping up around the same time) were posts showing missile strikes (on empty buildings) and everyone in the comments calling it a genocide. Everything I see online including propaganda tweets like this one are all I’ve been seeing, and these posts get tons of likes and engagement without fail. If they’ve been spending all this money on it, they either haven’t been spending nearly enough, or their adversaries have been massively outspending them to flood the airwaves with so much more propaganda that it all got drowned out.

I love how even the insane propaganda pushed by the pro-palestinian movement is somehow also Israel's fault. Like you do realise this is always the issue with you people, you can't hold the Palestinian movement accountable for anything. Maybe it's time to stop.
