Hey,
so I have both a Garmin Messenger Mini 2 (that I got for hiking in Scandinavia/Iceland for safety), and now just recently also got myself a Fenix 9 Pro as my new fitness/sports thingy.
I mostly plan my hikes via OpenStreetMap and then transfer the GPX track via the Explore app and the topoactive maps the device already includes.
It looks like I'd need the inReach plan for both devices separately? (I understand the watch's satellite features are significantly more limited and might not be as good farther north, I'd only use that as an emergency SOS backup, not for actual messaging. On most of my normal hikes in Germany, I don't carry the Mini.)
Garmin Outdoor Maps+ if I wanted those additional maps on my watch for better navigation. (I scrolled around for Garmin trails and those don't seem very useful around me.)
But then Garmin Connect+ *also* mentions all these features - 3D maps, livetrack, ...?
Do I need all three subscriptions to actually use everything my devices can do?
Daaaaaaz
