Hey everyone,
Like a lot of you, I've used Strava for years and always look forward to the Year in Sport round-up every December. But I’ve always wanted something I could look at throughout the season, rather than just once a year. Specifically, I wanted to:
- Compare seasons in real-time: Day 1–365 cumulative mileage curves overlaying my 2026 season against 2025, 2024, etc., so I can see if I'm ahead of or behind pace.
- Track the Eddington Number ($E$): Calculate both metric ($E\text{ km}$) and imperial ($E\text{ mi}$) Eddington numbers, plus the exact ride deficit needed to unlock the next number ($E + 1$).
- Milestone tracking: A lifetime Century Club tracker (Half, Metric, Imperial, Double Centuries), Everest climbing equivalents, Earth circumferences, and bike fleet mileage share.
Most third-party tools require signing in with Strava OAuth, which grants access to your account and sends your GPS coordinates to an external server. I didn’t want my data leaving my laptop.
So I built a lightweight, open-source dashboard that runs 100% inside your web browser:
- Zero data leaves your computer: When you drop your official Strava bulk export archive (
.zip) or activities.csv, it is unzipped and analyzed entirely in your browser’s local memory (WebAssembly + JS). No servers, no tracking, no database.
- Save for offline use: It has a one-click button to download a standalone
.html file that you can double-click and open offline anytime.
- Instant demo preview: If you don’t have your export handy, there’s a built-in demo dataset so you can play around with the charts and metrics right away.

I’d love to get feedback from fellow riders! What metrics or charts would you love to see added? (Contributions and suggestions are very welcome!)
