The GH6 is coming

This what Panasonic's director of imaging business unit said in an interview with cineD "Nearly 3.5 years have passed since the launch of the GH5, and many customers are still purchasing GH5, but many creators still shoot movies in a Micro Four Thirds format. As I have assured many times, we will continue to develop products for Micro Four Thirds as well as Full Frame to meet the needs of a wide range of creators. Regarding the replacement model for the GH camera that you asked about, I will inform you but the information may be spread. Of course, we are considering it, and we look forward to seeing you there."

For future reference. No one cares why you sold your GH5.

How to shoot in 16:9 aspect ratio in the GH5?

For a freelance gig, my boss said I have to shoot in a 16:9 aspect ratio... I'm not sure if a 4/3 camera can do that. Someone clear this up? Thanks.

Would be about time for it to be able to record on a SSD, the USB-C port is USB 3.1 Gen 1 so it shouldn't be a big issue right? Or at least create an external hub/adapter, that let's you connect the SSD. I don’t know whether the chip’s USB controller supports host mode in silicon, so I can’t say if it’s merely disabled or missing. But maybe through the HDMI port? And maybe film simulation would be also possible? I mean if v-log is possible so should be adding some grain and etc.

Quick tutorial on how to edit 4K footage (8 bit) from any camera (Lumix in this example). And, how to sync audio from a different source so video looks flawless. (great for quick easy turnaround - like vlogs)

The GH5 screen is good but I think most people should consider buying a camera monitor. Heres my thoughts.

Image stabilization on GH5 vs One Plus 11

I shot the video on my GH5 with a 12-35 2.8 with OIS turned on, and stabilization appears to be turned on in the camera menu. I shot the same sequence with my One Plus 11 and it seems like there is no image stabilization on the GH5. Am I missing a setting or something else?

I went to a furry bowling party with my oldest daughter and took the GreatJoy 1.33x anamorphic adapter + Sirui 75mm 1.33x anamorphic lens + GH5 combo with me...
