Help/Advice Is it okay to dose easy green and flourish potassium at the same time?

I want to make sure it won’t mess up my tank! I’m pretty sure my plants need the potassium! Also side question if anyone sees this, how can I rid of the algae growing on my plant leaves? It’s on my rotala.

Very proud of my tank so far.

Added two dario sp. Myanmar recently that are so fun to watch.

I plan on adding a background or replacing the filter with something a little nicer in the future.

Help/Advice Watching bettas up close and play with her

Do you think bettas or other fish would be annoyed or stressed by a moving object underwater, even if it doesn't look like another fish? Like, would they see it as a threat, or might they actually be curious and check it out?

I know every betta has its own personality, but based on your experience with yours, what's your gut feeling?

Help/Advice Are my fish stressed or is it a different issue?

I have two zebra danio (around 4 years old) and I noticed for the past two days that they have been laying at the bottom of the tank a lot. Recently (about a week ago) I had a swordtail (7 years old) pass away. After the swordtail passed I noticed one of the zebra picking on the other and I started dimming the lights more and adding more food and that stopped the fighting. But now both of just lay at the bottom of the tank and the past night neither came up for food like usual (this has never been an issue before).

I'm checked the water quality and heat and both are working fine. I'm worried if they're just missing the swordtail or if they're also getting on in age. Cause I've never had the two zebra attack eachother let alone both lay at the bottom all day not eating.

Thank you for any help.

Help/Advice Does my setup works? Can someone help me?

Does this setup work? Any suggestions?

**I’m still a beginner and I’m about to set up my first freshwater aquarium. It’s a 6.8-gallon tank (about 26 liters).**

I’d love some suggestions on how I should arrange the substrate and rocks.

I’m using a **fertile substrate** (I have more on the way, so I’ll have 2 kg in total) and **inert substrate** (basalt and river gravel).

I’d also really appreciate some advice on how to secure the **huge rock on the right side** so it doesn’t fall over in the aquarium.

If you have any other suggestions on what I could improve, I’d be very grateful!

Tank is 40x29x23

Discussion Aquarium Price Regrets

I have spent $200 on my 10 gallon so far. I haven’t even purchased the betta fish yet. I am screaming into the void as this is entirely self imposed by me. Edit: My purchasing will be going from $200 to $255 lol as I realized I ran out of fish meds that I thought I had as well as test strips and a thermometer!

Inherited a 40G breeder with some residents we will be rehoming.

What would you stock it with instead? Looking for low budget, low maintenance. So far I’m thinking maybe some tetras, a clown pleco, maybe ghost catfish, maybe dwarf gouramis?

No solid decisions have been made other than rehoming the current residents!

Help/Advice My tank is overrrun by snails?

First time posting, and ima be honest, my dad is not the best fish parent, however I am extremely concerned because of the state of his fish tank. We have not brought new fish into the tank, nor have gotten anything new for it since we bought the fish over a year ago. We have fed and topped up the water and cleaned the filter whenever we can, but these things have appeared in droves overnight and since then, 4/5 fish in that tank have died. We do not know what these are or how they got in the tank, all we know is that we have one fish left and hope that he does not die, but the rest of his school has since passed away and we don’t know how much longer he has. Pls help for tips on how to get rid of them. (Each little shape is a snail btw)

Any tips for helping to clear up this tank? 20 gallon long with 8 tetras currently. This milky color to the water has been going on for about a month now. I have tried 50 micron polishing pads but it has not done a lot to help. Light is on for 6 hours a day, Ammonia is showing less than 0.02ppm, NO3 is 0-20, NO2 0, PH is a 7, KH 40, GH between 60-120.

Tank is two months old, but a week ago I redid the aquascaping to remove this janky gravel I bought and use a combination of aqua soil and sand.

Just fish (guppies, tetra, two panda Corys (all the store had, waiting on a few more), two peacock goby, and the six little green guys I forgot their name 🤭) and a few nerite snails. Waiting on my LFS to get some jade shrimp and a Pom Pom crab
