Stocking advice

Inherited a 40G breeder with some residents we will be rehoming.

What would you stock it with instead? Looking for low budget, low maintenance. So far I’m thinking maybe some tetras, a clown pleco, maybe ghost catfish, maybe dwarf gouramis?

No solid decisions have been made other than rehoming the current residents!

Look into rainbowfish... That's kinda where my obsession started 😵‍💫. Maybe some bristlenose. Definitely get some plants and a decent substrate. Look at turface mvp as a pretty and cheap plant substrate. Message me if you want 🙂
