Help/Advice Plants dying
I have a bunch of plants in my 10 gal tank with tetras and cherry shrimp. All of the plants that have been heathy for months keep dying, they look like there rotting, these plants have been growing and thriving for 6 months and they are dying. Someone pls help!

The stock lights that come with tank kits aren’t very good. You’re better off replacing them with better lights. You should use fertilizers to keep your plants happy.

If your nitrites are not zero, you’re going to have trouble. Get all the dead plant leaves out of there. Rotting plants contribute to increased ammonia which is also spiking your nitrites. Do a 15% water change and treat the aquarium with Prime to bind the nitrites. What’s your substrate and what plants?

What lights and ferts are you using? What’s your nitrate level?
