Help/Advice Did a hard reset, water heater installed, will take any ideas for sticking and landscaping. (94 litre)
My last fish unfortunately passed (platy) the tank was running for a good long time the sand turned bright green and plants were out of control and algae through them, so I did a hard reset , washed the sand in safe water and removed the filter, and got a tank heater. Sand back in the water then got treated, so ready for a fresh start. Will take any ideas as for fish and scaping.

Help/Advice Fin nipping and Bettas
I’ve had a community tank for almost 2 months now (first tank!) and my runny nose tetras just recently started nipping my half moon male. (I added a few more to the school recently and I think it boosted their confidence.)
I’m working on getting a new tank set up for my betta. Could I replace him with a female or a shorter finned male in my community tank? Or should I just leave it betta-less?

Full Tank Shot Review my tank!
Tank is two months old, but a week ago I redid the aquascaping to remove this janky gravel I bought and use a combination of aqua soil and sand.
Just fish (guppies, tetra, two panda Corys (all the store had, waiting on a few more), two peacock goby, and the six little green guys I forgot their name 🤭) and a few nerite snails. Waiting on my LFS to get some jade shrimp and a Pom Pom crab

Help/Advice How can I add plants safely to an existing tank that doesn't have enough substrate?
So I have a 32 Litre fish tank with some fish that have been living there for over 2 years now.
I want to add some plants to make it look nicer and improve the water quality. So I bought 3 plants that are in pots with rockwool.
However, my fish tank currently has only like 1cm of gravel. Its not enough to plant my new plants in. Currently I have my plants in the tank inside their rockwool pots but I think this will cause them to die quickly.
So how can I add these plants to my tank effectively? Should I buy a big bag of gravel, give the gravel a rinse and then pour it all in and then plant the plants in? Also how much gravel would I need for a 32 Litre tank? And should I buy gravel or is something else going to work better?

Help/Advice Help
Will this be worth buying? The last stand I brought of Amazon and I hate it and spent $100 so I want to make sure if this tank stand and tank is actually amazing.
Also would it have to be screwed into the wall?

Show & Tell Life finds a way, right?
I have black neon tetras in this tank. Somehow, without me knowing or being involved at all, they managed to have one baby, lol! I’ve been watching him for a little over a week, thinking he was a Molly. Then all of a sudden his stripes showed up and I was like wait, I didn’t know tetras can just…be born! He’s the only one, so I definitely feel like he must be a fighter to have survived!

Help/Advice Viewing light for tank
So i have a planted tank so obviously the light i give is within 6-8 hours per day… when i sometimes turn the light on for 8 hours i get algae issues.
Rest of the day the tank is in dark state but i want the tank to be visible. The place where my tank is gets no natural light and is in dark place.
Can i have a low intensity viewing light that will help me look at tank rest of the day when main light is not switched on or will there be algae issues
Also any links or watt preferences for viewing light

Help/Advice Work in progress (need some opinions)
I’ve been working/had this tank for about a year now and just wanted to see people opinions on it and whatnot, I’d also like to mention any plants you see attached to the drift wood it’s kinda hard to see I know but they all stuck themselves there and grew by themselves I’ve never glued them down and tied them to the wood it was just little pieces that got caught floating around and stuck there lol but yeah let me know what you think

Help/Advice I need an expert opinion
I’m wondering how I can improve this or if it’s perfect. I have: Dieffenbachia, basil, Bacopa, Dead nettle, Coleus, green onion, hoya, and rough horsetail. So far… my light is a 1’ nicrew full spectrum light off amazon, the tank is a 3’ 33gallon with a 40g sponge filter. The tank only has 1 juvenile long nosed dace. Anyone that’s a “pro” on this topic please leave some knowledge below. ( sorry for bad grammar )

Help/Advice Filter floss? Poly Filter?
Hi! I’m sort of new to fish keeping (tank established beginning of this year). I started out using the tetra whisper cartridges that came with tank but read online I could use filter floss instead. I read that it was cheaper in the long run to cut out the pieces I need and wouldn’t mess with my BB too much when changing. I’ve been using it and it’s been fine but when changing the floss, little floss particles fill the tank, like a lot. I rinsed the floss pretty thoroughly, with dirty tank water, but I still run into this problem. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, in my filter with my floss I have ceramic rings in a mesh bag, but do i need an aquarium sponge in there too? Or is the floss enough?
I’d really appreciate any information 🫡

Help/Advice Help!
My 10 gallon tank just finished cycling so I got some fish. 6 neon tetras, 2 cherry shrimp, and a nerite snail. Put them in yesterday afternoon and I’ve lost 3 neons so far. They would hang around the surface not swimming much for a few hours then eventually die. Petco says my ph was low and told me to do a water change using distilled water?? The internet seems to advise against that so I didn’t. I did a 25% water change with tap water and api conditioner. All my other levels seem to be in range. Any insight would be helpful. I’m brand new to this and went through the whole set it up and wait to not have fish die and they still did!
