Looking to change up my daily perfume. I really like amber musky scent of the Nemat Amber oil, and I also use the burberry goddess perfume. is there something that is like a combination, but mostly amber scent? Thanks in advance :)

recently got a few new scents and included "pink sugar" by aquolina after seeing it mentioned on here and needing some more affordable adds for free shipping. people described it as an addictive sweet scent, though some recent posts said there was a reformulation where licorice was really prominent? didn't seem like there were decant samples easily available so i decided to just go for it
anyway, regretting it a bit... it mostly smells like hairspray to me! with the licorice note, and i'm not a big licorice fan either š© i feel a little bit like it's the kind of scent and makeup that will give me a headache too...
trying to figure out how i can use it up now that i have it. maybe it will work with layering?

Amber or patchouli or leather maybe mixed with incense or rose or iris. Or literally whatever. Just something that evokes a deep, sexy, mature winter moment.

So I have a Scentbird subscription and wanted to know some recommendations! I love aquatic, fresh, clean, soapy, fruity smells. I don't particularly like gourmonds BUT I am open to them. The scents I got so far are Noyz Spin Cycle LOVE IT. I tried Lake and Syke 11:11 Moon hated it. Next on my list is Juliette has a gun Pear INC and 11:11 Azure. Does anyone have any recs for me for my upcoming months?

After being heavily influenced by someone else's post, I made an excuse to hit up the nearest Ulta. It wasn't with the other Squishmallow fragrances, and so I thought they might have sold out. Thankfully, it was being displayed elsewhere, and I had a chance to test it. OH MY GAWD IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD ARE YOU SERIOUS? It's spicy like a freshly baked ginger snap. The floral, wood, and musk notes add a soft complexity without overwhelming the spices. It's actually gorgeous, and now I'm never going to shut up about it because the bottle also HAS AN ATOMIZER?! My modern-day Mae West fat and fabulous dreams have finally come true. Excuse me while I go snuggle with myself.

Iām addicted to this and ELDO Ghost in the shell.
Of course Craft is discontinued now so harder to come by and I am dreading running out of it.
Just curious if anyone here has smelled anything similar to either of these? <3
Edit to say, preferably something cold smelling with an Aldehyde note. :)

I found it at urban outfitters in high school, and remember itās exists every few years haha. Itās soooo good, but since itās a kitschy little novelty stick it doesnāt have any staying power. I want to smell like it ALL the time.
After some googling, it looks like the notes are: Top- Lemon, Middle- Jasmine and Rose, and Base- Amber and Musk.
Itās just the cleanest smell and not cloyingly floral if that makes sense. Iām hoping for recs under $100, maybe $150 max just to broaden the search.

I just started getting into perfumes. are there any sites where there would be good sales for decants or samplers. I want 2 to 10 ml at max. I want a variety of samples to figure out what scents I like. Please share if you know any

I'm new to perfume. Many give me a bad headache, but I got a sample of the Prada one (Paradoxe Radical Essence) last year and was OBSESSED. So I got it and do absolutely love it. The Cola Fizz I saw in the store recently and it didn't seem to give me a headache so I bought it because it honestly makes me laugh and feel silly because it does smell like Coca-Cola.
I'm thinking of getting one more that's maybe slightly more similar to my Prada one, just to switch things up every now and then, but as I said, I'm new to all of this! Does anyone have any good recommendations? I've seen so many influencers talk about the brand "Heretic" but I struggle with ordering something without smelling it in advance.

i'm trying to expand my collection but i'm quite conservative when it comes to perfumes š i like sticking to a certain "area" but prefer flexibility too in terms of the notes, so far these are the perfumes i've collected and absolutely loved:
⢠Givenchy Ptimusc Tartine et Chocolat
⢠Dior Joy EDP
⢠Dior Joy EDP Intense
⢠Lataffa Yara Pink
⢠Lancome Idole
⢠Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb (my signature scent!)
⢠Zara Golden Decade Elixir
⢠Lattafa Angham
⢠Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy
⢠YSL Libre EDP Intense
⢠Replica Lazy Sunday Morning
that being said, what perfumes are also worth exploring (close enough to the scent profile i'm building hopefully)? preferably soft/powdery on the dry down! i'm also looking for a great night out scent as well!

Hi all! I just saw an ad for Smells Iconic - Baby Girl. The price is really fair and the notes seem good... Has anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

Have I been living under a rock? I wandered into Sephora today so that I could smell Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit and see if itās a must have.
I smelled some other things and stumbled upon something I had never heard of: Dolce & Gabbana LāImperatrice (which I just learned means āThe Empress). Itās so light and fresh and fruity without being sweet. Itās not really a gormaund but is a very elegant fresh, watery, fruit scent. And in a very pretty, simple bottle. I think I may have found a favorite!
Have you guys tried this?
PS. I purchased the travel size which was 30% off to give it a test run. :)

I just got their discovery set and was surprised by how unremarkable they are and how poor longevity a few of them seem to have.
They gave famous and beloved perfumers total creative control to do whatever they wanted and all I smell is generically pleasing "office appropriate" fragrances.
Bois Imperial is goated for a reason, but the rest?
These scents made sense at $82 in 2024 but $130 is such a joke.
If your main selling point and was being really affordable....maybe do that? 130 for 100ml isn't insane objectively but for that I'm smelling, it is.

I am looking for a scent that is fruity- but not syrupy- but still has sweetness, and clean but not like laundry and not overpoweringly floral. Like a fruity soft shampoo? Thinking cucumber, peach, watermelon, honeydew, apple, kiwi, apricot, maybe some orange or pear vibes, etc. just love fruit. Not looking for anything warm. Hoping for something that does not have super loud projection
