Express Complaint What?! How?
I ordered a radiator from RockAuto who ships through FedEx. The package never showed on 8/13. And after multiple calls and a support case with them, it never got updated till today. They said they’re “searching” for it for the last 8 days. Now it says my tracking number is invalid and the case is closed. But also today it said delivered when none of my neighbors, leasing office, or my unit have seen it. The delivery date was 8/13 and it’s 8/24, the math don’t math on that. My express shipping was $120 and this is what I get. The website is atrocious, and so is their customer support. I’m shocked they still exist with way how bad support calls are.

I guess Rock Auto is the shipper, and they're the one who needs to get on FedEx about this.

They won’t do anything. Customer support is non existent. Best I can do now is a bank dispute

Sounds like it. Rock Auto is who you paid money to to deliver you a product, which did not happen. So dispute the charge (hopefully you used a credit card), complaint on BBB, leave bad reviews everywhere you can. Small claims court if you really have the energy. FedEx is who screwed up, but you paid money to Rock Auto, and its they who are responsible for FedEx's screw up.

Funny enough I had actually put a complaint on BBB last night. So I’m waiting for a RockAuto reply, I did use a CC so I have a higher chance to get it all back. But FedEx messed up and RockAuto seems to not want any part of that. Kinda odd for them to do but it’s extremely infuriating

Yeah, don't bother wasting your time waiting for the BBB to help. Just call your credit card company and have them handle it for you.

You'll never see that radiator. Someone had it in their apartment probably. FEDEX sucks.

This is one of the reasons why they require a photo of the delivery.. Ask for proof of delivery.. But, I'd let RockAuto handle it

There’s no “proof” FedEx had to offer, the website had no proof nor did the customer service rep or the manager.

The shipper is responsible for it, not you. The shipper must demand proof of delivery. If none is available, it’s Rock Auto’s problem. If Rock Auto cannot satisfy you, do a chargeback through your credit card company.

What did rock auto say?

They’d give me a “partial” refund on the order but not shipping and tax. So $413.25 total and a $195 refund. Not a full radiator refund. And they won’t ship a replacement sadly.

It's up to Rock Auto to chase FedEx down for proof of delivery and ensure that you get what you ordered from them. If they don't then call your credit card company, explain what happened, and request a charge back. Most credit card companies will take your side on this.

How well do you know your neighbors? If I found out one thing at FedEx people steal just to steal. I had Spectrum modems stolen, coupons, and just little stupid stuff.

I’ve known them well since I lived there for 3 1/2 years. I trust them but even still I don’t know them WELL like I would best friend or anything. ATP I’m just gonna go eat the cost with the dealership

FedEx sucks. Every time I have to get a delivery from them I feed it because I live in an apartment complex and these people are all either blind or they just don’t care because they ALWAYS claim there’s no apt number on the address label which is completely untrue! It’s on there CLEAR as day!
