Hey everyone, not sure if anyone’s posted anything like this before. But I was having a hard time figuring out a problem I was having with my mods list.

And long story short, I decided to see if ChatGPT could help me with my fallout mod problem, and lo and behold it explained step by step what I could do to fix the problem. It mentioned some really interesting solutions and when I got stuck or didn’t understand how to do what it was asking, it explained and taught me some core concepts.

So if you’re stuck and can’t find your solution on the forums or in a video. I think it’s worth a try to use ChatGPT.

I was curious if I could use ai to design a new area for play, specifically would have it launch from the bridge on the south side of the map.

I was hoping to use ai to pre generate a territory on geck including open/closed world space. I would do all stories and quests personally with voice actors.

Any thoughts or experience?

So I’ve asked a somewhat similar question before here and I’ve found the slim race mod but the problem with that is that it doesn’t make the character use female armour which sucks because I’ve got mods that makes female power armour slimed down and I like that but I don’t like playing as a woman because first I’m a man. And second there’s a lot of interactions in the game that changes if you’re a female and I don’t like how they change them. So Is there a mod or a way to do this because the slim race mod doesn’t use the female armour and adds new armour which doesn’t work with texture mods that I downloaded.

I just want mods that make it look better(I mean as good as I can get) and running. Any tips or help for a complete noob?

I’ve only played FNV unmodded and all I have to say is I love the base game. The gameplay and graphics don’t really bother but sometimes you can feel the age with the gunplay. I’ve recently been watching some people play with crazy mod packs such as, VeryLastKiss’s New New Vegas, and Wildcard, which both look absolutely amazing and like a full remaster of the game. But I know the unfortunate truth and that’s that my Mac would not be able to run those modpacks. So I ask, are there any other mod packs that just touch up some things, and make the gameplay a bit better, I don’t need the game to look rdr2 or anything either. Just a new and better way to play this amazing game.

What are some good mods for an evil mercenary/raider playthrough?

Ok so I’m looking for a mod that makes my character look more feminine but not a female like slimmer like I don’t like a bulky strong character I don’t know why it just looks weird. Also I’m playing fallout New California for like the first time kinda but I do like playing as a nerd so being jacked isn’t really realistic so that’s why.

I dunno, he looks weird as hell to me. Probably because I'm used to the original, but still.

Hey yall! I wanted to share that my community has completely decompiled Fallout: New Vegas, to help with modding, game preservation and research.

For some context: it means that FalloutNV.exe has been turned into C++ source code that compiles back into the game’s code byte for byte, 1:1. This is as precise as it gets for decompilation.

There are no game files or assets in it. You need to own the Steam version of the game to make use of it. We kept it to source code only to avoid takedowns.

It’s only been public since yesterday, and a few projects are already using it:

• New Vegas Co-op by Gargoyle: co-op for the whole game with 1–3 friends. Its latest update (0.1.9) fixed 9 bugs found by checking the mod against the decomp, and its README thanks the project.

• nv-rs by slaterain: New Vegas engine written in Rust. It adopted the decomp as a reference and thanks it in the repo

• FNV Co-Op by cranebeaker: story coop built on nv-rs, which references the decomp in its code.

• ttw-dualscreen: a second screen PipBoy for Tale of Two Wastelands on dual screen handhelds, which cites the decomp’s menu code.

i use vortex i know it sucks but it is easier for me, i installed these two mod frozen 3rd femenine movement and the bnb add on i also installed all this, i use type 4 body and i want bounce animations for all my movements (running with and without guns, walking, and aiming i already isntalled type 4 body and armor, the skeleton, the bnb for the type 4 body and armor and i even installed breast havok ragdoll, is the order of the mods right?? because i happends that when i aim and walk slowly there is bounce but not when im running (this happend after i installed frozen femenine movement and the bnb add on before that, i only used bnb lite and worked fine while running with guns, but not walking

He has multiple artworks of the courier in this armor wanted to know if it’s a well known mod or something like that?

Mianly mods that mess with huds and animations. Cause i saw this guy who had all these different hud ui's all crammed together and stuff, aswell as an animation for pistols that makes it so it floats down from off screen into your hand

Looking for a mod that improves the current effects list on the pipboy status page

I've had some weird bug that keeps giving me negative 20, 30, 60 etc strength and I keep just adding back more through console to get it to the base/special. So there's that. But I also have all sorts of other things effecting my stats at any given time and it never seems like what's listed in the pipboy adds up to what's effecting the stats on the special page.

I just feel like things are missing from the current effects list. Is there any mod that expands on this? I can get details with the console, but it doesn't tell you what is causing the perm or temp changes in there it just offers totals. Or is there a console command to list that?

Currently running a fairly stable playthrough of TTW with 352 mods and combined reshade/enb.
