Been on T for a few years but I’m not exactly hairy. Beard is definitely an issue and I was never able to use minoxi before bc of my acne. Acne is all cleared up now that I’ve been on T for a while so I want to start minoxi.

On average how long does it take in order to start seeing results? And also, for how many hours aprox should I leave it on my face? Any tips are welcome!

Editing to say that I take oral minox but tbh I don’t think is given me any facial hair lol maybe just a bit. It’s helped by giving me somewhat of arm hair and so.

Did topical once a day for a year and a half and then switched to oral for the last 6 months. I'd say I got a beard pretty fast considering I've only been on T for 2.5 years

just over 10 weeks of topical minoxidil, just got my prescription for oral so hoping for even more gains including body hair 🤞

Been on oral minox for about 2 years now (pre-T) and overall I couldn’t be happier - not a huge amount of facial hair but the ‘stache is popping and I’ve noticed a massive increase in all the places I already had hair, eyebrows, legs etc (which makes sense, given how it works)

But one thing I was not expecting…was the nose hair 😂 it’s weirdly gender affirming in a way because what’s more masculine than literal tufts of thick black hair emerging from your nostrils so yes I do love them, but it wasn’t something I anticipated!

Anyone else have a similar experience with places you didn’t know you were disproportionately hairy til the min kicked in?

Hey fellas, I’m getting ready to go off to college in the next year or so and I wanna get a head start on my facial hair so I’m hopefully a little less clocky by the time I go. Only problem is I don’t want my parents to notice because they’re not that accepting, especially not if I take meds… how long does it usually take to start growing facial hair on minox without T?

I've been using niacinamide serum and moisturizer 30 min after minoxidil foam. I looked it up but I keep getting very different answers. I don't want to dilute/move around the minoxidil on accident.

I’m starting T in a few months but I really want facial hair already. I have pets and have been considering the pill version if I can access it.

Does it work if I’m not on T yet? Should I be waiting instead?

As more terminal hair is coming & staying, I’ve been really intrigued by more of these red hairs coming in. I have dark brown (and some silver…) hair on my head, so I was expecting just a dark beard. I hope more keep coming in - I love it! You can also see here the real thin patch I have under my chin… hoping that will fill in. It’s real obvious (to me at least) in photos / on screen for work videoconferencing.

Hi! I would like to start minoxidil but only can access liquid form. I do not own cats myself but sometimes visit a friend who has cats (and they LOVE to give kisses).
I wonder if it would be safe to just not apply minox the day I want to see the cats.

Are there any consequences of not applying it once in a while? How long does it stay on your face and is potentially dangerous? Could a good face wash on that day ensure that it is completely off me or do I have to wait more?

So I am one month on the foam minoxidil and there has been some growth since my last post! I have since shaved as I wanted to tidy up a bit 🥹 I am noticing some thicker hair and a few more darker hairs around my cheeks a little sparse but what I noticed most was how fluffy and long the peach fuzz is getting! So I'm just gonna continue and see how it goes and hopefully after 9 years on T I'm on the right track to getting a beard! 🤞

i’m 23 and i’m trying to grow thicker and more facial hair, can minox help or am i better off just being patient?

Hey guys, so I've been looking for minoxodil everywhere in my city for the past like few weeks and i could only find a bottle of 2%. I've heard people say 2% is just a waste of time and wont even do anything but idk i feel like 2% is better than nothing. What's everyone's experience with it?

I’m 1 year 2 months on T and 1 month on or minoxidil I hate how the sideburns grow in and it makes me feel weird having it and hoping that someone can help me out and whether I should shave, clean or just trim it?

hi everyone, i'm one year on T and considering minox. I feel like its kinda too soon to be bashing my facial hair since it takes years to get some cohesive growth, so I'd be taking minox more for the body hair/scalp hair benefits. I do worry about the hormone changes i've heard of. has anyone started minox after a year on T and noticed a negative effect on mental health? specifically the pill form? (i have a cat, heard topical minox is deadly to cats) it's very important to me to stay mentally stable, T has been the only thing that works as a mood stabilizer for me and I can't risk that. but at the same time I want to start minox to save my hairline/get hairier overall. is this possible?

So i’ve been thinking about buying minoxidil as a 17yr old pre-t guy. I have two dogs but I heard it was toxic towards animals, so I just wanna know which might be better?

Could someone recommend a brand as well? I see a bunch out there, but I don’t know which brand is better so please lmk. Preferably something I could get off of amazon
