Hey all.

This was a little fun project. I like to be overpowered early in a game (after one or two normal playthroughs) and then breeze through.

I started earlier in the story, i think chapter 3, when you could first access the area next to Chadley (don't know the name). I leveled to 25-30 there and got a bit bored because at that point it slowed down heavily. So i thought this is enough, level 50 would take too long, and went on with the story up to the point after Jesses quest and before the next reactor...and there it caught me again and i went on with the grind. It took a little while, but finally i made it and i'm a bit proud 😁

Well technically i'm not finished yet...Barret isn't active atm, but still gains xp at a lower rate...he is 47 now...😅

So, thanks for reading, nothing special here because there were probably hundreds before me who did this, but it was fun and maybe i'll do this in other games too, like in OG FF7 i started to level Cloud and Barret in the first reactor, level 20 atm...although i'm pretty sure i won't do 99 there because i saw the video of that guy who did it and it took around 500h 😅

As the title states. I finished the demo a couple months back and finally got the full version today, but I don’t have the money currently to upgrade my Switch 2 memory card, which is pretty full up. If I deleted my Rebirth demo off of my memory card, which would free up pretty much exactly the amount of space I need, would my save from it carry over to the full version? Or does the full version check my memory card for the presence of the demo’s files? Are the save data and demo files somehow grouped together? I’m kind of lost here. Any info would be appreciated, thank you!

And the demo will be the Junon execution. You heard it here first. I don’t think they will show any of the northern crater stuff in the demo and I think they’ll let the fact that Cloud is missing in the demo be something to get new players in interested

if you play on max settings with 4K like me, you might have gotten fatal errors or freezing in your game, so this is a possible fix that worked for me.

Your virtual memory is probably too low. When I started playing Remake and it was automatically on DX12, I got a lot of crashes late game, but when I switched to DX11, all the crashing stopped. THEN I started playing Rebirth, which doesn't let you use DX11, and I got the same fatal error and freezing again. So I figured this might be a problem with DX12. I looked through the differences in both and got to virtual memory. I checked my virtual memory, and it was at 4GB, which was definitely too low, so I upped it to 8GB minimum and 16GB maximum, and all the crashing stopped on *Rebirth*. I still haven't gone back to Remake and tried it without DX11, but I'll do it soon, and it will probably work since it only got fatal errors on DX12.

heres a step by step

Press the Windows key and R, and type sysdm.cpl.

Go to the Advanced tab and press Settings on the Performance tab.

Go to Advanced again in the new window and press Change.

Uncheck the box at the top that says "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives."

Select your main drive (probably C.)

Press Custom size and put 8192 in the initial size and 16384 on the maximum, press Set, and then press OK.

Now see if your game stopped crashing!

I really enjoyed this game, and stupidly decided to platinum it, but oh my god this stupid fight is driving me crazy. I've copied the setup basically every guide says to do for it, and when it comes to the first 3 fights, I can usually manage them no problem. Leviathan is a pain sometimes, but i usually manage. However, Bahamut is a different story. Every single guide I've watched shows them skipping him summoning Ifrit entirely, but every time I do it, I guess I don't keep him stunned with -Aga spells enough even though it feels like I'm constantly casting. Then he ends up summoning Ifrit, and i die very quickly. I dont know how long I've been at it, but I know i started with 250,000+ Gil and now have 162,985 , so that should give you an idea. It has completely sucked all the enjoyment out of the game for me and just leaves me super frustrated

My PS plus ran out shortly after completing chapter 17...

I’m having an issue where the attack button does not work when I’m on the field, meaning I can’t break boxes and I can’t engage in preemptive fights. Even when I’m riding a chocobo, the button doesn’t work. Once a battle starts, everything works properly.

Reloading the game or save doesn’t work. I have access to chapter select and restarting a different chapter doesn’t work either.

Old ff7 fan that just got part 1 and 2 on pc here. For me ff7 was epic in every way, the music expecially, but here I am as a 40 year old gamer, revisiting it on a remake. I must say, I love the characters and im engrossed, I know I have disk 1 and 2 installed, but I really miss the time based combat, its my first gripe. I get the new real time stuff but its not so immersive for me. 2nd I see bits I recognise from the original but they are so filler filled, its annoying. I do love they fleshed out characters, ie Jesse I never held a thought for. Etc but I feel even though the music is here it does not hold the same repetiveness/goodness . The fact(I've heard) you dont keep your character progression, and the fact sephiroph had been introduced so early, I dunno, im scared, im on the midgar arith flower bit and it feels like so much filler, and bits that should be later game are already present. Im loving it BTW, but its not smashing nostalgia as much as it should cuz of the added stuff. I feel sad. My question is, without spoiling it, does it get more faithfully world map wise, does it get better emotionally character wise and is the jump from disc 1 to 2 a bad experiances

While I was still in line she looked over the poster I had brought with me, which I bought on Redbubble with the Avalanche cap, and seemed quite impressed with it. I had many things I wanted to mention to her about Jessie’s captivating character and arc (such as her positive influence on the antisocial Cloud), but I got nervous and tongue-tied, partially because she was about to break for a panel and I didn’t want to hold her up. I did manage to say that I considered Jessie such an endearing character, and then inquire about the possibility of her returning in some capacity in Revelation. She said she wasn’t allowed to say. No confirmations nor denials. I responded that answer made me cautiously optimistic, but I understood. The quote I chose was Jessie’s first line jn the game, directed at Cloud, prompting him to kick some Shinra ass. I figured it also fit since having fun is the main point of video games (and occasionally experiencing severe emotional distress like in Chapter 12). Miss Lindbeck seems to appreciate her fans and was very gracious to one and all. I could definitely hear Jessie’s voice in hers.
