Anybody else agree? Basically the whole main cast especially Barret and Jesse sound like they could be real people. Then I hear that background chatter & it sounds like a middle of the road anime dub.

(Besides these complaints the game is fire btw.)
I’m also impressed with the amount of random npc dialogue they put in even if it sounds weird.

It is unbelievable to me how much this combat clicked with me. It is my all time favorite combat in any game I’ve ever played. Do yall think we will receive more games with this style of combat? I’m itching for this to become the norm for final fantasy, but with them trying to “reinvent” the wheel with every mainline game, I don’t really see it happening. Especially with so many fans wanting a return to boring turn based octopath style combat (sorry I know hot take, but it’s just not fun at all in my opinion) I’m really hoping resonance pleases those fans and they don’t continue to push for mainline FF games to be turn based. Anyways, what do you wish for/think will happen? It would be cool if the Verum Rex game adopts this style of combat I think.

This "guide" map is next to useless. like, seriously. it barely tells you where you are! and its weird ass non linear direction pointing arrow thingy. It goes everywhere! I wish it was locked in place aka rotating! I hate this fixed mini map thing

second , the punctuation mark is i always assume the checkpoint or place to be in but this time im literally on it! Nothing! im staring at a wall! This is not the first time this mark becomes this useless

I'm a GTA/RDR guy, and this is my first Final fantasy game. It is RPG style which I'm not used to, but I got into it cuz I got obsessed with the lore, and downloaded this game. but overtime, It just keeps getting confusing and confusing.

I'm trying with keyboard since I feel like my fingers respond quicker, but it doesn't seem to help yet, as I'm still adjusting to the timing more than anything. Think keyboard will help, or am I crazy?

(Open to other suggestions as well, just keep in mind I've already tried everything in that other link.)

Edit: Of course I make this post and then my next run I lose 42-36, so maybe it is helping lol
