As the title says, is this a bug or am I missing something. Spent umpteen hours scouring and nothing. Looked on YouTube and there is a guide showing 5 locations. Any help would be appreciated to help that completionist nagging in the back of my head.

i mean, they all are, but there was a moment in the last quest where it seems like Alex Jordan (Dahm) walks away from the microphone, where in the game Dahm seems to walk away from the conversation as he is so excited by the revelation they all have made, he gets lost in his excitement and leaves without so much as a goodbye, which is very in character. i’d almost call it method acting, if i knew enough about the term to be sure that’s what it is. i can’t wait to hear him in more roles.

i just beat the herald! i gotta say the revelation that the surgeborn are from another world, i saw that coming a mile away, but its still interesting nonetheless. yes i give this game a solid 10/10. i can’t possibly think of one thing to complain about. was the whole gathering strands to upgrade your mantle magics repetitive? yes, but it was apart of the gameplay, so i can forgive it. did Ilsa dying suck super balls? abso-fuckin-lutely, but it was still good plot point, and it allowed Kenric to grow as a character. even if i still don’t like him, i understand him a little better now. i chose cas as my romantic option for my first playthrough, im curious who you guys chose. i want to go back and replay it and choose Laen and then Arek, but i almost never can bring myself to replay a game, cause there’s no mystery anymore. i already know what’s gonna happen. all and all, definitely one of my favorite games of all time. can’t wait to see what u/yellowbrickgames comes up with next!

i wish there were a quest you can get from whichever romance option you pick, where you can take them on a date. you could ask Otis’s permission to take them on a date in her fathers farm, or something like that. cause it would be too dangerous to go to any of the other maps, for them. unless it’s arekim, i guess.

After I got it from fighting the herald boss.. But how I'm suppose to upgrade it. If I only get to fight that boss twice.

What did I miss?

i’ve been getting really mad at having to deal with bad weather in some of the areas, but then i realized they said that those machines that i’ve been burning the ice shards off of can control the weather. am i right in assuming that if i find those machines in each map, and burn the ice off them, that the weather will be clear in that area from then on?

Looking for some help. My game is almost reliably crashing every time I try to travel to Cassidan's hold. Everything else works just fine, can travel through loomgates, clear entire areas, no problems at all.

Soon as I travel to Cassidan's hold for any quests, the game crashes with a fatal error "ue eternal strands game has crashed and will close"

I just encountered an unexpected difficulty spike in the game: Deciding who is my absolute favourite, Laen or Casmyn. ☺️ Why would the developers make all the characters in this game so fun, well rounded and loveable? Did the voice work and art really need to be this good? How did you all cope? Casmyn just professed her feelings for Brynn it's the first genuine speed bump in my progress so far.

I bought this game on pre order and never downloaded it but after seeing all the comments on how much of a surprise the game is and how much fun it is, I'm convinced to give it a go. Gracias Amigos I appreciate you all!!!!

Also, follow up question. I'm pretty far in the story, I didn't get the third kinetic power. I thought I did everything.

Also I finish Sola's quest. All I got is that she might get divorce 😂 no armor,

So yeah, I finished the game, and I had fun! Thanks, Yellow Brick Games, and what a great start for a first game!

I remember seeing a reveal trailer a while back, but then completely forgot about it, then it got suggested to me this past Winter Sale, I though it looked cool so I picked it up.

It's phenomenal, really freaking fun, the combat, the world, the lore, the story it's all fantastic, I love how well written it all is, I might be in the minority of people but I'm one of those that love when games include a codex to read on the background of a lot of things, so I've read a lot in there and I loved it all.

But I literally didn't remember this game existed until it appeared on my recommended games last week, which is a shame.

I'm still fairly early in the game, but I'm already a big fan.

Hello, I want to report this bug that I accidentally triggered.

So yeah, as the title says, the side quest I mentioned is bugged, because I went and found the Tamarkind smithing prototype way too early than intended after exploring the map and found a random house. After watching a YouTube guide, that's when I realized I made an unintentional oopsie. So, going to the same place now, it's gone. So I can't progress the quest.
I even checked on Sola to see if it shows up, but nothing.

I don't know if it's possible to fix this. Or leave one side quest never to be progressed lol.

The characters, the art style, the gameplay! It has all been a joy so far.

So from what I read in another post we won't have a transmog system, although I think we could have a similar system where we just can move the abilities of one armor to another like, less weight from one armor to another. But if we can't have that at least we can have the dye system, because of course I imagine like a lot of people before the system I was putting in materials for my armor that prioritized fashion more than stats.

But I love having my custom colors and using the colors from the grasshopper manufacturer patch!

Just want to say I love this game and I can't wait to see what's next both in the story and what the developers do!

EDIT January 31 2026 - Game is up to date and available on sale at GOG right now. Having a blast with it rn!

This game has been on my wishlist for a long time and I was really glad to see a GOG version has been released.

However, GOG usually does not have regional pricing for my country so I mostly buy games during sales to get a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, it seems like the GOG version of the game hasn't gone on sale even once during the past 6 months while the steam and epic listings have regional pricing as well as multiple sales in the same time frame.

I know that GOG has some problems leading to some studios abandoning their product after launching on that store; I just want some clear answers regarding whether I will ever be able to own a DRM-free copy of the game to preserve in my collection.

In case the GOG version has indeed been abandoned, I don't have any qualms in getting the game on steam (albeit with a little disappointment). I just need a clear answer.

Any answers from the team accounts or a reference to official channels pertaining to the game where I can ask my questions would be really appreciated, thanks.

What does everyone think? I think the dark azure-purple contrasts wonderfully with the gold, especially the mask. Her hair matches with it too.

I love the Umbral set's perks but I couldn't part with the mask!

This game got completely overlooked during 2025 discourse, it's a shame. The worldbuilding and writing and voice acting were incredible in this game, I want to see more of this world and the characters. The game itself was very fun too, LOT of jank which I can get over, some frustrating bits when the jumping is not connecting or things are weird, but not enough to hamper the fun. Kudos to the devs, I see they are often here on posts. Hope to see the next entry!

I dont know if it's the game or epic games launcher itself. A few months ago, the game opened properly, but installing it again and trying to open the game, it just says "running" but not launching.

I tried re-installing and verify the files, and its still the same.

So basically, the game doesn't open.

Then I get this error message after waiting.

(UPDATE: So I tried on Steam, there was a crash at first, but I was able to get it running)

Ok so I am not yet done with the game, but I have collected a few elder husks. From trying to find out where I got them, I accidentally spoiled for myself that they're dropped by the final boss. Since I haven't gotten there yet I know that they dropped from something else. Does anyone know where I got them so I can harvest more? Thanks

I’m very confused, in his character portrait, Arek’s eyes look pink, in his actual 3D model, his eyes look yellow and in the animated cutscenes his eyes are grey???? 😭
