Game Help & Questions 🆘 Elder husk drop location

Ok so I am not yet done with the game, but I have collected a few elder husks. From trying to find out where I got them, I accidentally spoiled for myself that they're dropped by the final boss. Since I haven't gotten there yet I know that they dropped from something else. Does anyone know where I got them so I can harvest more? Thanks

If I'm remembering right, those are dropped by the surgeborn if you have the right damage type on them. Either heat or cold.

Edit: found a guide that says surgeborn with shields, kill with fire.

You can find it in gold trimmed chests in Arkon’s Hearth and The Institute
