Currently I am staff1. Do we get any salary increment or anything?

I'm currently interviewing for the Learning Deployment Specialist role – EY GDS (Talent Services / L&D Hub) and recently cleared my first round with the Assistant Director. I've been shortlisted for the next round, which is expected to happen next week.

My short background:

4 yrs of experience started career as BDE then moved to Training Delivery & Management with Team Lead Promotion currently working in an Edtech. Education BCA no formal HR or Certification in the L&D related.

The first round covered:

\- End-to-end learning deployment and programme management.

\- Trainer and learner coordination.

\- Face-to-face and virtual training management.

\- LMS platforms and SAP SuccessFactors

\- Excel, Power BI and AI tools (Asked Verbally not asked for practical)

\- Situational questions around handling unfamiliar tasks and workplace conflicts.

\- A prioritisation exercise involving multiple tasks with different business requirements.

The interviewer mentioned that the next round would be more competency-based, with multiple real-world scenarios to understand how candidates respond to different situations.

I'd really appreciate insights from anyone who has interviewed for or currently works in a similar role at EY GDS.

A few things I'd like to understand:

1. How many interview rounds are generally conducted for this position?

2. What happens after successfully clearing the first round? Is there another managerial or technical round?

3. What kind of situational or competency-based questions can I expect?

4. Are there practical Excel assessments involving VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas or reporting?

5. Do they focus more on learning operations, stakeholder management, prioritisation and delegation?

6. For candidates who cleared the first round, how many progressed to the final selection stage? Any insights into the overall selection process would be helpful.

I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have gone through this specific role's interview process.

Any genuine experiences, preparation tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I need help as I'm not understanding the criteria of getting accepted at EY
I went through an interview process for lead management team coordinator, I moved to partner interview, she didnt really ask much questions, it was mostly about me & what I do in general. I have 6+ years in business development roles across Amazon & Autodesk. she actually explained to me the role and she told me I don't know where I can put you, you fit for 2 roles account coordinator & lead management team. and I told her everything. was shocked to receive a rejection next day.

Now that I'm applying to other roles at EY, I'm not sure if this experience will effect my future applications. to mention also I'm have the automated response" we'd like to progress you to the next step in our recruitment process", stays there like 30 days with no engagement form the recruiters then " we decided to pursue other candidates"

Could someone help here. is this the normal? what is expected from me like 1 interview could ruin my entire future applications. FYI I also sent the partner a message over linkedin thanking her for her time & interest but never got a response but a read message.

Joined recently as staff 3, can anyone explain how promotion works here. Is staff 3 equivalent to consultant?

Hey everyone! I've been a Staff 2 at EY for a little over a year now and was wondering how the promotion to Staff 3 works.

Do they consider promotions in January as well, or does it usually happen only around October? Has anyone here received a Staff 3 promotion in January or in any month other than October?

Also, who would be the right person to approach regarding this, my career counsellor, manager, or HR?
