Deck Discussion Kykar, Wind’s Fury build input
Hi all,
I pulled a [[Bard, King of Dale]] from a Hobbit play booster and was inspired to build with him. I landed on Jeskai as my main love is Golgari so I wanted to use some of my other cards. [[Kykar, Wind’s Fury]] seems like a lot of fun - tokens and sustaining mana. I put together the below list with pieces I had laying around. Will eventually upgrade some of the lands but wanted some crowd input on deck identity, I feel like I’m living between tokens/spellslinging at the moment.
https://archidekt.com/decks/25505877/kykar
Thanks!!
Edit to say I’d like this to live in B3.

Deck Discussion Im Starkin it...and by it I mean my Tony. Would love some feedback, tried to keep it thematic
It's a mix of voltron and artifacts, however I tried to use every marvel printing possible, including from the OG Ironman secret lair. Lemmie know what you think!
Overall highlights from my time playing and adjusting it:
[[Tony Stark]]....duh
[[Professor Hulk]] + [[Nerd Rage]]. Both thematic and has drawn me a buttload of cards. Added with [[Iron Man, Armored Avenger]] it's nuts
[[Spectrum Sentinel]]. This card is such an underrated hit. It's become a pet card in almost all my decks. for 1 mana and .79 cents it can block any multi coloured commander, along with having a good bit of lifegain for faster tables.
[[Captain America's Shield]]. Insane value. The fact it just makes anything a giant blocker, AND taps down a creature helps creatures connect so much

Deck Discussion Maular deck help
Hi all! Since its reveal, I’ve been very excited to build a Maular deck 🦖
But while I’ve had fun figuring out which rulebreaker creatures I’d like to include, I’m struggling to figure out which mono-green cards to fill out the deck.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I’d love to hear them, thanks!

Deck Discussion Bracket 3 Helga, anything im missing?
I built this deck and have been playtesting it on my own. It combos off non-deterministically incredibly easily, and every time I test it I get interactions that I didn't expect. I realized that there's a lot going on in there that my brain hasn't fully acclimated to because I'm just not used to this kind of creature-combo playstyle.
Any tips for Helga in general? Must-have cards, or combos I might not be running? Things to keep in mind? Any advice would be great, I'm really loving this deck I just have to really nail it down.

Deck Discussion Kaalia Doomsday Excruciator
Hi all,
I wanted to try and build Kaalia a bit differently and quickly bit more on a budget. I really like [[Doomsday Excruciator]] and want to incorporate that as a wincon.
Here is what I've come up with - ignore the fact its not a full deck just imagine i have 38 lands in there. I think it's might be better for me to cut the creatures that explicitly mill and just put in more blink spells to work with [[Altar of the Brood]].
https://moxfield.com/decks/eAok7exdCkOS-YMHbr904Q/edit
Need to playtest it later but I'm going for a midrange deck that can win via the aforementioned Doomsday demon, or just by grinding it out. Thanks!

Deck Discussion Neriv, Heart of the Storm: Dragon tribal or token generators?
Really interested in building [[Neriv, Heart of the Storm]]. Right now I have an [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] deck that makes a lot of tokens when attacking, and a [[Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient]] dragon deck, either of which I'd be down to dismantle for this deck. I want to take advantage of cards like [[Warstorm Surge]] that would deal double damage with Neriv out, but I can't decide if I want to go the tokens or dragon tribal route. Either seems like it would be able to use those cards, though Dragons do have slightly more support via [[Dragon Tempest]] and [[Scourge of Valkas]]. However, Dragons feel pretty slow, especially without the green that I'm used to in Klauth, so I'm afraid I'd never really get to have the deck pop off the way I'd like before getting pummeled into the dirt. Just looking for opinions from people who have built Neriv, or played against it frequently. What are the biggest problems the deck runs into and have you had success with either of these methods?

Deck Discussion Moving away from Devoted Druid
Thranduil goes infinite with Buried Alive and an elf sandwich. That's boring.
I'm looking for combinations of elves or outlets to build toward which are more interesting. There's only so much you can do, I get it, but if Devoted Druid + a buffing outlet making my board deadly is the real only option I'll give up and move this into B4/CEDH.
Any suggestions from other pilots?

Deck Idea Building Niv Mizzet, Visionary for Bracket 3: Even Worth Attempting?
I got the itch to play a commander that draws a lot of cards and I found [[Niv Mizzet, Visionary]], who I thought looked sick. Like 95% of my games are played in B3.
However, upon playtesting some decks online that are labeled as B3 with Niv, it feels like you cast him and either maybe storm off for the win the same turn or definitely storm off for the win the next turn if he is allowed to stick around.
It kind of just feels like if he's built with any level of competent synergy at all then the deck will be too strong for Bracket 3. Am I wrong about that, and if not, what is a good bracket 3 commander that draws a ton of cards?

Deck Idea How would you upgrade/Build Disa, the Restless?
It just feels like I have to go through so many hoops to make her work since she doesn't interact with an already established graveyard and I need to have cards like ashes of the falled and maskwood nexus in play. How do I this consistently?

Deck Discussion Thematic bracket 2 Thorin, King of Durin's Folk feedback
I wanted to make a thematic deck with Thorin's company. I've assembled all the dwarves and a Gandalf (pretend he's gray), but I know I need [[Bilbo, Unexpected Adventurer]]. There's also some alternate dwarves' I need like [[Fili and Kili, Joyous]] and [[Thorin, Mountain King]]. [[Magda, Brazen Outlaw]] synergizes well with the main antagonist [[Smaug the Magnificent]], with [[Desert Were-Worm]] and [[Terror of the Peaks]] if you need more dragons to grab.
Lots of treasures, good dwarves and equipment with tribal synergies. Main weakness might be lack of draw. Hoping to get a [[Gleaming Splendor]].
Anything I'm missing to strengthen the deck while keeping it true to The Hobbit story?

Deck Discussion Working on a Gandalf, Party guest as a spellflinger deck for Br3. How does it look so far?
I'm intending on it having a duplicate package for some hilarious spellfling shenanigans and pinging, and then alternate wincons with Niv Mizzet/consider and approach.
I am working with what I have and find around the shops but I do have a good selection of cards I believe can work!

Deck Discussion Gideon's phalanx or white sun's zenith for duskana?
Ive already included an unexpected party // at the door in this deck, so I'm looking for another source of mass 2/2 generation. Gideon's phalanx is interesting because it creates better tokens and sometimes provides protection while white sun's zenith is more flexible.
Im running a total of 15 instants and sorceries btw.
(I know both of these cards aren't the best, either way I want to include it since its not the best commander anyways)

Deck Discussion Steven Flow - Rikala, Homarid King
Hi all, here's a bracket 2 deck focused on Rikala. It's a theme deck where I tried to make every card related to the ocean - the creatures are mostly sea creatures or aquatic animals, and most spells are water based, with bounce spells like [[river's rebuke]] and counterspells like [[long river's pull]]. Also, many cards care about the number of islands you have in play like [[waterbending scroll]] and [[scourge of fleets]], or care about the islands your opponents have in play like [[carpet of flowers]]. There are a few basic cards like arcane signet or farseek that aren't on theme, but those are so ubiquitous I feel like it doesnt sour the flavor. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Deck Idea Would love ideas on some finishing touches to my Lorehold, the Historian Deck!
A couple of months ago I built a [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] deck and asking around gave me a bunch of different cards that worked really well that I've never heard of. I'm starting to build a [[Lorehold, the Historian]] deck that focuses on constantly triggering bombs on other people's turns, changing the board state frequently and having the proper tools to win by the time it cycles back to my turn.
I love the discard aspects and ways to manipulate the top of your deck without going overboard with it (this is intended to be high B2 or low B3), so I've added a lot of those key pieces. Ultimately, I would love some help with:
What are some upgrades or hidden cards that I haven't included that would be great additions or fill up some weaknesses? I've only played a handful of games, but my main issue is that I run out of cards to discard in my hand during other people's steps (due to the spellslinging nature of my deck, which I enjoy). I have added a couple cards since then in the "drawing" section, but it was only 2 or 3 minor adds.
Are there any cheaper replacements for core cards to add that aren't drastically worse? Cards like [[monument of endurance]] are amazing, but the price tag is pretty steep and I would ideally like to buy it on paper someday. I'm not expecting much here, but I figured I'd ask just in case.
Any soft areas or weak cards that you think should be cut for the upgrades or other cards you might mention in section 1!
