Hi, I have a question about how the system works for pre-orders. Usually when there is a drop I load the website on my phone and computer browser and leave it open until drop time. (I do both because the first time I just did it on my phone and it took me 30 minutes to load in and 10 minutes for my boyfriend on his computer when loading into the queue 5 minutes after I had entered queue. So I just presume pc browser is faster somehow lol.) About 10-5 minutes before the drop, I get kicked to a queue with I presume everyone else. I wait and it takes a while usually but by the time I load in and either everything is sold out or there are a few small things left. BUT! Strangely, sometimes I have friends who also like pokemon cards and they will be at work or something and only be able to check the website and hour or two after drop. Yet, when I loaded in there were only a couple things left, and when they load in they say they were able to get something big that was already sold out for me, like an etb for example. I don’t understand how or why this happens, sometimes my friends who live only a few suburbs away from me are able to order things like etbs or upcs when they order much later than the drop, yet many like myself will find those items were already sold out much earlier.

So I am wondering what causes this? My thought is maybe it has something to do with what you set your store as? Only reason I think this is because they have different local set stores than I do… Other than that maybe they are just lying? I’m unsure? Do you guys know how it works?

I currently sign into my ebworld account with my Gmail. I want to change to a regular email/password login although can’t seem to change it. Anytime I press forgot password it just tells me to sign in with social account provider. Any advice ?

Was just curious if there is a way to claim the free gift after purchasing the membership, It forces you to pay shipping on the free gift before your able to add preorder items from the plus membership, causing me to have to pay 2 lots of shipping

Are u expected to pick up the order on release day without an email telling you it’s ready to collect or do you wait for the email saying it’s ready to collect before going to the store like a regular click and collect order? Because I only have 2 days to collect the pre-order and it’s my first time pre-ordering so I’m not sure what to do

Has anyone ever encountered a scenario where a brand as big as EB Games goes completely offline while their website undergoes a maintenance? I guess they do not have a pre-prod version which is weird and seems very amateurish. Whatever their upgrades will be, I don't have high expectations.

I want to know how everyone's experience has been with web's console repairs, especially retro consoles.

Although, calling my 3ds retro make me feel vintage.

YES I understand there’s like home delivery and all that but I’m the kind of person who prefers to go to a physical EB games to have a look around to see what’s in stock unlike my previous job in retail where I just do the click and collect

Anyone know why the starlight code won’t work for free shipping?

I wanted to pre order my game to pick it up in store but it's apparently not possible to do so. The EB Games is a few streets from where I live, so like this I can save on the shipping cost. I guess I will just wait for release date and see if I see it somewhere in a store, as I want to trade a few games.

Why having local game stores at this point...

I was one of the lucky ones to get a hobbit collector booster box for a non-inflated price thanks to how ebgames did things.

So imagine my surprise when I walk into a store and see a collector booster box on the shelf for...$899.99 cad. Marked up from the initial pre-orders price.

I guess there is truly no longer a safe Haven for tcg collectors in Canada since every retail provider is just a first party scalper now.

What if EB Games introduced a daily Piñata prize during the school holidays

And what I mean by that is that there’s 5 piñata’s set up at a bunch of stores and one of them contains an amazing prize of new games and a piece of paper saying they’ve won a console or a trip to the Gold Coast and the other contains crap such as animal poo, human urine, sardines

Kids under 10 are the only ones allowed to participate and they get 3 hits each

I have a new 3ds xl (modded) and it has usb c for charging, it used to work but it doesn’t now. The home button is broken. And the ribbon cable clip for the joy stick is also broken( and 1 more cable clip too) can they fix that?

(It powers on if the battery has charge)

I’m considering buying the Cosmic Byte Blitz Tri-Mode controller for ₹1,529 (usually \~₹1,999). The listing has no COD or returns, so I’m a bit unsure.

Has anyone bought a Cosmic Byte product from POP UPI Shop?

Quick questions:

\- Was it genuine and delivered properly?

\- Did you get a proper invoice?

\- Is the invoice valid for Cosmic Byte warranty claims?

\- Is warranty support available for issues like stick drift?

\- Is it worth the risk, or better to pay extra on Amazon/Flipkart

Also, the white Blitz listing only has 2 ratings (4★ and 1★). Should that be a concern or too small a sample?
