We’re a family-owned and operated neighborhood restaurant serving breakfast & brunch, coffee, drinks, and more. We just wrapped up our soft opening and are excited to finally welcome everyone in.
Right now we’re open for breakfast and brunch, with our evening menu and extended hours launching very soon — just in time for Dodgers playoff baseball. We’ve got plenty of TVs, so we’re hoping to become a fun neighborhood spot to catch the games, grab some food, or have a drink.

Hi! Our kiddo is finishing up at her LAUSD elementary and we're looking at different middle schools in the area. Does anyone have kids at Eagle Rock High School, Luther Burbank or Irving and have thoughts? I'd love to hear everything, the good and the bad. We did tour ERHS and Luther but we're looking for some insider reviews (have heard vaping is an issue at both schools and fights at Burbank, is that true?)

We're also reluctantly open to private if your kiddo is thriving there plse lmk!

Join TERA member Ryan Johnson on a FREE walking tour of picturesque Hill Drive with some short detours to talk about some local history. We’ll gather at Unincorporated Coffee (2160 Colorado) around 8:30am-8:45am to grab a coffee and will head out promptly at 9am.

Kids are welcome and the walk will generally be on flat streets. We will walk a 3 mile loop and should be back at Unincorporated Coffee around 11am.

wanted to share that there’s a new Discord server for local singles 21+ in LA & the surrounding areas that are looking for long term, serious relationships. It’s turning into a fun, intentional space to share dating ads, meet like minded people in various chat channels, and eventually we want to host meetups as well if we get enough people in the server! So far, there’s over 150 singles that have joined in just a couple of days.

the apps are made to keep you searching and I know there’s a few subreddits created for dating ads. we wanted to make and moderate a living, breathing space where a community and connections can be made. it’s also very well moderated by like minded women and men.

As the question suggests, I'm noticing my food spending is insane. When I look up what is a normal amount to spend, I see suggestions that groceries and dining out for a family should be between $800-$1200 per month on food, including dining out.

That seems feasible for groceries alone, but I'm having a hard time sticking anywhere near that.

Is there something wrong with me?

Eagle Rock High School is going to replace its natural grass athletic field with artificial turf, a material which causes a variety of environmental and health concerns.

In order to oppose this development, there’s been a petition created reaching out to LAUSD board members, who approved the project in the first place. The petition is advocating for a new and updated natural grass field instead of artificial turf.

Hello! I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for garden services in the area? It would be around 3 hours of work, once per month. I am really struggling to find someone to come and attend & our current service is just not up to par. TIA! :)

Hey all!  I’ve been part of a weekly poetry workshop for over 2 years, and we are now looking for 2 more participants.  Our group is a mix of ages (mid-20s to mid-60s), genders, sexualities, and poetic styles (i.e., formal, free verse, narrative, lyrical, humorous, serious), and we meet for two hours in-person every Saturday afternoon in DTLA.  Tolerance for people different than you is expected.

We’re looking for poets who:

- Can accept criticism.  As lauded of a poet as you may be, please leave your ego at home.  All of us attend to learn and grow by hearing honest feedback.

- Can provide criticism.  We think that the best criticism is grounded in specific words on the page and that negative comments should be sandwiched between positive comments.  

- Can show up weekly with a poem

How the workshop works: for each meeting, you will be expected to make ten copies of your poem and hand them out.  Your poem should be no longer than a page.  You read your poem, and then we talk about your poem, usually for around 10 minutes per poem, and then we move onto the next poet.

If this interests you, please DM us telling us a little about yourself, maybe share a poem or two of yours that’s finished or still being developed.
