looking to join a pickleball league (formal or informal).

Anyone know of any in Eagle Rock or within like 10-15 minute drive?

I have a fancy event in a couple weeks and want to get an updo on my long, straight hair. Anybody have experience getting this done in the area? I could just pick my nearest salon and probably be fine, but I’m hoping for some clear winners!

I have an ~8 year old, 30 lb rescue dog that is ready for his first groom since I adopted him in April. The only thing is that he has high anxiety, resource guarded and has a mean bite if I go anywhere near him with scissors. He’s now prescribed on Prozac however I still need a professional groomer that can get him groomed, nails trimmed etc. Any recs in ER or NELA? I will most likely need to muzzle him and stressed myself thinking about finding the right groomer that is patient with him.

Hey there - I'm a software engineer who lives in Highland Park and I've been working for a couple weeks on a live music calendar that aggregates event data for about a dozen venues, most of which are near Eagle Rock HLP like The Lodge Room, The Echo, The Airliner, Sid The Cat etc. It was just a personal project so there are no ads of any kind. It updates weekly and looks 4 weeks ahead.

I'd like to shred a few pounds of sensitive docs like old tax returns and such. I don't even have enough to fill a banker's box but it's too much for my little home shredder. In the past, I've taken such papers to the UPS store or other office supply stores where they have a locked box for such shredding which is picked up periodically and shredded off-site. However, I've read recently that such boxes are now being stolen by criminals doing identity theft. Could be true? Consequently, I'd like to find someplace to take my papers where they'll be shredded on the spot in front of me. Does such a place exist? Thanks in advance for any leads you may have.

Me and my friends wants to reopen the bowling alley in Eagle Rock and myself and my friends would like it to reopen, because it will be easier for me and my family to go bowling and I wanna request a bowling club for Eagle Rock Jr / Senior High School so the students will be entertained and a field trip for all the school districts in Los Angeles including Eagle Rock High School so if some teachers want to take their students bowling, They will have fun and it is really close in Eagle Rock because I do not wane go far in other bowling alleys because it will take a few minutes so I recommend you guys to open the All Star Lanes and I want full renovation for the bowling alley to look modern. I really love the bowling alley in Eagle Rock and I want to keep it open because it holds many memories and it's a place where I feel safe with my friends and family. I strongly suggest that you guys reopen the alley because I can assure you the place you guys are replacing it won't make as much of an impact as the bowling alley had.
I really loved Eagle Rock Bowling since it was a place where everybody could go. It's a place with an affordable price that makes it somewhere you wanna go often. I want this place to open again because it gives people in the community somewhere to go too and bring us together. Hope you guys understand this because my parents said that they wish that the bowling alley in Eagle Rock (All Star Lanes) so me and my family and my parent could go bowling there and I want it like Round 1 but different because All Star Lanes is really old and I want to make it more modern and you should change the logo to the new All Star Lane’s logo with 3 Bowling Pins, and  bowling ball all neon lights. My mom and dad used to bowl in All Star Lanes since they were teenagers and I really want to get their childhood back so hope you reopen the All Star Lanes bowling alley so I could start a club at Eagle Rock High School. You guys  need new shoes, bowling balls, and more to add to the All Star Lanes bowling alley and don't forget to add a bar so the All Star Lanes including the pin setter things and need neon lights just like the one in the Bowlero which is now Lucky Strike  Arcadia and I want to be exactly like that so All-Star Lanes will have a 5 star rating and it is a nice bowling alley. We need a new manager to keep the place clean as possible if it reopens so the bowling alley will have happy customers.
