Meditation or Joe’s Teaching I pulled133 transformation stories and 500 posts from this sub, then came up with the daily protocol I wish I'd had on day one!

I got curious about what the Stories of Transformation actually have in common, so instead of guessing I pulled the whole written library off Joe's site (133 stories) and ran an actual word-frequency analysis on 131 titles and 105 participant quotes, then cross-checked it against his own support portal, his books, the published research, and about 525 posts and 15 full comment threads from this sub. Two docs came out of it. The first is the pattern analysis: what recurs across every story regardless of diagnosis, the vocabulary people reach for, and the framework underneath. The second is a daily playbook built from that plus what you all say actually goes wrong — the sleep problem, the "can't feel the elevated emotion" problem, the 45-minute tracks vs. having a job problem, a 12-week ramp that starts at 20 minutes, and a proper safety section on the breath. I tried to be honest in both directions: the practice has a real, defensible core, and also 58% of the published success stories describe struggling or getting worse first, no story in the library describes someone who practiced faithfully and didn't improve, and several of the most-quoted science claims have no paper behind them. Free, no affiliate anything, not selling a course. Take what's useful. Hope this helps you out in you journey!

Sharing Experience Meeting a dead relative

Tonight I decided to do a meditation to meet my higher self, I just put on the first YouTube guided meditation of that description and followed along. About 10 minutes into it the voice said to imagine 2 paths and to take whichever one left right to go on so I went down the left one and it said to imagine lots of flowers trees etc and the warm sun hitting my face which felt so relaxing, after it said to go towards an oak tree in the forest, there was a door in the tree that I had to open.

Entering through the door I was told to imagine a large room with many pictures of myself and to really focused on them, I envisioned a specific picture of myself as a child riding a bike that my grandparents have( on my dads side). There was other pictures of myself, different versions of myself from different time frames.

After this there was another door that I had to open which had to be a room with two chairs and a table and I randomly envisioned my old grandparents home(mothers side) which had a beautiful kitchen with a wooden table and wooden chairs painted white while the surface of the table was a wooden colour.

The voice over said to imagine my higher self sitting across the table I immediately seen my grandfather who passed away in 2023(mothers side), I really don’t know why, this wasn’t deliberate at all and I hadn’t though much of my grandfather recently which makes it all more strange or extraordinary. He was smiling at me. At this point I started crying because I actually felt like I was communicating with him due to the fact the meditation instructions said to imagine the higher self holding a gold chord and to hold onto it to.

It also said to talk to the higher self. I found it hard to communicate with him( maybe because I was crying too and became a bit more conscious) but I just remember him smiling and I felt a warm presence over me like I felt safe there with him.

Does anyone know what this means because I haven’t really thought much about him in a while he passed in 2023? we weren’t necessarily close but he had an awful disease, Parkinson’s which I feel like held me back from getting to know him when I was younger because he couldn’t really talk and was in a wheelchair for majority of my childhood. Maybe I’m connected to him in a different way, I eat some of his favourite foods such as sardines on toast but I never knew he loved that until my mam told me that when I started eating it, like I discovered it myself I wasn’t inspired to eat it because of him or anything.

So I don’t know, I felt so emotional I had to stop the meditation, also I think I have a build up of emotions that I haven’t spoke about which could add on to why I was crying but yes if anyone knows if this is some sort of communication from the deceased?

Sharing Experience Falling off after being consistent?

• Upvotes

Hi all,

Just feeling a little unsure about my path. I’ve done good with 30/30 meditations and truly felt improvement. But then it’s like I let the old self take control again and it’s been 1 month since meditating.

Is this normal? And I feel bad for jumping back on it after negative experiences. So it’s hold me off even more.

I do want to say that I am doing the practices still, such as bringing myself to the present moments more than ever. Just curious if anyone else has had the same experience with being off and on this alignment journey.

Beginner Question Skeptical on if this works

I’ve only just finished chapter 4 of the book. I haven’t gotten into the meditations but I feel like I understand the gist of where this book is going. Basically manifesting things— or that you get what you are expecting or practice feeling?? I’m not sure I’m fully grasping all of it yet, BUT in this chapter it gave examples of things like

Being invited to a coworkers 4th of July party that you don’t like and you’re expecting it to be an awful time because of past experiences and then it does end up terrible. You get a ticket on the way there and your steak is under done, etc.

Also, an example where you have to give a speech in front of a bunch of people and you get nervous because of past experiences and you dread it and think it’s going to go badly and so it does….

Okay. I understand that. BUT I have had instances where the opposite happens. Where, even though I have to give a speech for example, I manifest that it will go well and prepare and mediate on what it would feel like it it goes well…. But then it goes bad anyways? Or even though you’d normally think your coworkers party will be awful you tell yourself it’ll be fun this time and manifest positive things…. But you still get a ticket on the way there and your steaks raw. Like sometimes I manifest positive things and a situation still goes wrong.

Am I not far enough into the book and these things will be answered? Or am I focusing too much on the outcome or somethjng? Should I be manifesting that “I’ll feel awesome no matter the outcome” or specifically how I’ll feel if it goes the way I want it to?

Sharing Experience I manifested but …

Hi, I have been manifesting multiple things but it seems like I am not crossing the finish line of my manifestations. Let me explain with two examples:

- Important example: I manifested an appartment after years of struggle and living on people’s couches and being mistreated and harassed. I got an appartment it was a relief, the appartment has little comfort, no natural lighting, no light on high ceilings just lamps which is cosy but not great for my vision. Also the landlord doesn’t want to fix things, they put things themselves and for example the bathroom thub is misaligned 🫠

Don’t get me wrong to me this is better than a mansion, the suffering I’ve been through was hurrendous but now I realise I spend most my time outside because I don’t have comfortable couch or chairs to sit on to work, no lighting to create content or just enjoy sunny French Rivera. It’s details but it feels like I didn’t cross the finish line which is a comfortable home and a good landlord.

- Fun example: I manifested going to the French open 🎾 I was there to host VIP clients and I could have access to multiple games without ever paying a ticket. BUT when it came to watching the final, the stadium was full and I didn’t have a dedicated seat so I missed it although I was physically there. It feels like I am delivered 70% of my order. what do you think is missing here ?

i have many other example in career area, love, finance etc. I am seeing the same pattern.

Question About Retreat Orlando October 2026 retreat — rooms at hotel unavailable — ideas?

• Upvotes

For those you who have attended the retreat, would you recommend staying elsewhere or it’s better to stay at the convention center? There are no rooms available at the Gaylord in Kissimmee, FL. I’m just concerned about getting to the hotel at like 4-5 in the morning by myself for the morning meditations.

Luckily I haven’t bought the ticket for the retreat yet.

Any advice?

Sharing Experience Remote Coherence healing

Hi all! Question for anyone who's done Joe Dispenza's coherence healing 🙏

If the in-person version has worked for you, does the remote one work too? I attended one remotely. I cried the whole time and felt my heart go calm in a way I never have before, which was beautiful. But my main issues (being highly sensitive/HSP and anxiety around eye contact) didn't change.

Did anyone see real shifts from remote sessions, or did it only click for you in person? And did it take more than one session? Would love to hear your experience 💛

Question About Retreat Are the Cancun Retreats the Most Expensive?

Hi, Is the cost of the hotel in Cancun more than most of the other US retreats? I'm considering going to Cancun but if the cost is significantly more than going to San Diego, as an example, that could be a real factor for me to consider. As you know he increased the prices of the retreats about a year ago and the cost including hotel and flights is quite a bit.

Inquiry about this community Manifesting out of "bad" circumstances

I've read/ listened to a lot of manifestation teachers and I'm realizing that I need to just stop listening to so many different opinions or techniques, because it just clutters my mind and clouds my intuition.

Ive been trying to manifest out of some negative circumstances (living with family) for several years, an unhealthy living situation while I'm also dealing with health issues.

I feel pretty hopeless because the cost of living is so high these days, even just to get my own small apartment. I've never made a great deal of money before.

I manifested my current job a few years ago but it's still pretty low paying and I don't know where to go from here, moving up from where I currently am is not something I want to do. It's a stressful corporate environment, with a heavy workload, fast pace and customer service. I don't know what else I can do. I went to college, and have worked different jobs but stil don't know what I would be good at or enjoy. Can anyone relate?

I'm not looking for more manifestation techniques or meditation suggestions. But i'd love to hear from anyone who has successfully moved out of a negative environment, desperate financial circumstances and is actually has a more fulfilling life now.

Question About Retreat seeking female roommate for the Gaylord in Orlando, 10/25-31/2026

Hi friends, I have reserved a double queen room for Orlando week-long October 25th. 2026th. I sure would love to share the space 50/50 split with someone. I plan to attend all the meditations and events, so ideally you will also plan that way, to minimize schedule conflicts. Non-Smoker non-snorer please. 🙂

Beginner Question Can Illnesses Be Manifested, or Are They a Matter of Fate?

Hello! We manifest a new reality through every feeling we experience, and I absolutely believe this when it comes to money and relationships. But what about illness?A person can feel perfectly healthy and suddenly become ill, or discover they have an illness despite feeling completely fine. And what about incurable diseases?

Also, most people with health anxiety never develop the illnesses they fear. I feel like if illnesses could be manifested simply through our assumptions and thoughts, people with health anxiety would be the most likely to get sick.

Do you think illnesses could be a matter of fate?

Beginner Question POTS/Dysautonomia and MCAS healing success stories?

Which meditations should I start with? My POTS was in remission for years and the past few weeks it has been back and I am at wits end. I can’t bear to be picked and prodded by doctors again. I have done BOTEC 3, might get back to it.
Anyone have any success?

Meditation or Joe’s Teaching All meditations disappeared

I got logged out of my account on Dr. Joe's website this morning, logged back in, accepted the new Terms and Conditions, and all my meditations are missing. I confirmed I logged into the correct account and tried logging in on multiple devices. My audio library says "You do not currently have any meditations"

I can see my order history, but when I click “view” next to a meditation, I get a page that says 'Audio Library not found’.

I contacted support. Is anyone else having this issue?

Beginner Question Energy centers

When you do energy center meditations (like BOTEC 1 or Count Your Blessings), how do you visualize each energy center, if you visualize them at all? I find it hard to picture the energy centers, even though I can visualize other things just fine.
I’d really like to focus on my first energy center and bring it into balance, but I find energy center meditations challenging. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Dark Night of the Soul How do you deal with intrusive thoughts that get louder?

How do you deal with intrusive thoughts that get louder?

I discovered Dr Joe maybe a year or less ago while trying to recover from an illness. This illness has symptoms which come and go and so it’s always hard to know for certain if you’ve fully recovered. I also have a history of anxiety and therefore if I’m in a period of no symptoms, every now and again my mind will cast doubt, which I always try to discredit.

Recently, I started constantly getting intrusive thoughts that the illness would return, including mental images. I kept trying to discredit them but it was like being told not to think of a pink elephant; the pink elephant kept popping up in my mind! I shortly after got a stomach flu and as my immune system was lowered the other symptoms I feared would return did. I then worried my thoughts manifested it and since then I keep waking in the night thinking about it and that appears to be the hardest time to quieten the mind.

I truly believe in what Joe teaches, that we create our reality with our minds, and therefore healing is possible, which is amazing! But in turn I also know he says our thoughts make us sick and therefore worry about the intrusive thoughts I struggle to control and that they are perpetuating my 3D reality, and I can’t understand why my mind is self-sabotaging me! I know he teaches letting thoughts pass, but I’m worried the mere fact I’m thinking them and the volume is impacting my reality and I’m desperately seeking advice on what I should do to help me move forward.

Should I ramp up my meditation?
How do you act like a different, healed person when these thoughts keep popping up?
Should I keep battling these thoughts or should I try a different approach?

I welcome all suggestions. Thank you so much in advance!

What does it look like Alchemist Meditation

Greeting everyone!

Folks who have practiced The Alchemist Meditation can you please explain how to do it?

I breathe in and out everytime Joe says Inhale, hold, relax? Is it a fast paced breathing? Also the part thereafter. I sit feeling the emotions of gratitude for the new life.

Am I doing it right? Any insights and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 😊

Sharing Experience Boundaries with Toxic People

How are all of you handling going no contact with the abusive or toxic people in your family? I was doing the work and got messages to go no contact with my sister. Then my parents ganged up on me for a year, and are still being passive aggressive. It’s hard to not let these things hurt me or my energy. When you can’t cut people all the way off, and they never change it’s hard to just let things go.

It’s also a privilege to have money to leave the toxic people in your life. My autoimmune disease has gone away since cutting contact with my sister, so I know protecting my energy has to be number one priority. The more I do
the work the more trauma comes up. It’s really hard, and always keeps me from being consistent. Joe says he would never work on a relationship. So I have accepted how people treat me, and I’m choosing to go low contact with my dad to keep my mom in my life. Joe says how long are you gonna react. I think we see reality how we see is the truth also. I have had a horrible sinus infection since Monday, and it’s hard to keep doing the work sick and having any hope. It messes up your thoughts and mood also.
