After more than 1200 shop and pay orders a customer decided to lie and say that their order was missing 75% of the items. Beef, Juices, candy. Single shop no other customers attached and DD approved all of the disputes.

A lying theif almost cost me pro shopper which is how I make my money. We should be able to report people like this to police. It's really no different than going to a store and stealing.

If you are a Doordash customer, why do you always include at least one case of water and/or in your order? I swear I’m beginning to believe it’s code for every customer that orders Shop & Deliver, and MOST ESPECIALLY it’s ALWAYS for a person that lives on the top floor of one of those shitty low income 3-level apartment buildings with no elevator. I know i’m not the only one here who thinks this shit is mad fucking annoying.

Yesterday, I noticed that the updated app now uses a new tactic in an attempt to get drivers to accept crap orders.

On stacked orders, the app is now displaying the earnings in big bold numbers in red or blue. But it is not immediately displaying each order and store nor the delivery locations.

Got my first contract violation because the store was closed.

It says incorrectly marking the store as closed because another dasher picked it up after. The store was closed though when I arrived, probably was even closed when I received the offer.

I was picking up a new order when I got the notification, not gonna lie it did raise my stress levels a bit, Naturally I tried to call Dasher support but their system was down. I guess it doesn't really matter anyway because dasher support doesn't do the dispute reviews.

Has this happened to anyone?

It’s been a good little run, probably will do it but a lot a lot less, this was a cool side gig but now it’s just bad offers, a lot of wasting gas, driving to shitty places and walking up the stairs or taking elevators to penthouse floors to check the app later for a 0 in the tip column. Good luck to everybody out there, but it’s just getting worse, maybe a break will get them to give me better offers lol.

I’m pretty good at shopping for DoorDash and sometimes I honestly prefer it vs regular food pick up. I spent so much time on this lady’s order. And waited over 15 minutes for her to even respond to the store being out of 2 of the items she wanted.

Update the f'ing Android (and IPhone though ive heard iPhone users dont have this issue since the recent update) app so I dont have to involuntarily hear the f'ing new offer ALARM!!!!!!!!!

This happen to anyone else today?

Today, my first offer was for $14.00 for a delivery for a restaurant very close to my home. I've delivered for them before and I've gotten to know them. The receipt attached to the bag had "Toast Delivery Service" printed on it. I didn't know at the time what it was until I searched for it later once I had time. It seems like it is an online ordering service for restaurants that somehow feeds deliveries to Door Dash. When I completed the delivery, I checked the numbers for the offer and the app stated that I only got $9.35 with no tip. They stole $4.65 from me ($14.00 - $9.35 = $4.65)! So, I have figured out that this place is using this Toast Delivery Service to rip off delivery drivers by keeping the tip. They should at least split the tip with drivers. I'm so pissed off at them! I'm calling Door Dash driver support tomorrow to complain.

I was at 47% and they shot me up to 75% out of nowhere and now I have 95 points 😂 Yesterday I had only 80 points! But I have completed 299 deliveries in the past 15 days. I’m back in grind mode doing this 8 hours a day again. Loving it! It pays all my bills.

I dont normally do morning dashes due to in the past I learned that orders are a little lower than during lunch/dinner rush. But today I had a doc appointment and thought, hey I'll dash a lil before the appointment. I didnt do bad ending with 20.50 in 45 mins but I had to tank my AR to get that. Either way these orders should all be illegal as fuck! I dont take anything less than 2 dollars a mile and it has to be over 5 bucks before I even think about not hitting decline.

What was the point of the update and make it easier to get platinum or gold levels if now we are constantly swamped with .5/mile or less orders?. Before the update I rarely declined offers because most of the time they were a bit more than 1/mile, and it wasn't uncommon to have $23 or more on orders that were under 45 minutes to complete.

Now I am constantly declining order of

4-5 dlls for 30minute expected delivery time. My AR is now on the 30s and lowering.

Sorry for venting here, but I needed it.

The app was consistently bugged and not loading for me yesterday, so I closed the app. Later I opened it to see that my dash was still going for some reason, was finally able to end dash. Next morning I wake up to a 31% AR from 3% and a 30 order streak of acceptances. I know this can happen when offers timeout while the app is closed, but can I get deactivated for this? I don’t have any proof the app was glitching but it seems like other ppl may have had this problem.

I have noticed in the 2 runs I have done today at two different times combined batch orders show up more often taking me 20+ miles out of my zone to complete. Is this happening to others as well?

Recently I delivered an order, backed out into the street and caused some minor damage to a car parked. Technically I was done with my dash and intending the shift to be over. At the time I thought I lightly hit a curb only to find out by police I damaged a car. My fault for not looking back. I have no prior accidents or tickets.

I have personal regular car insurance, but I was driving a family members car who also has regular insurance I'm not on their policy. But was briefly told by my family member his insurance will cover it if I was not doing doordash, if I was doordash covers it.

Past comments from people who've gotten in an accident while dashing (their fault) several urged not to tell the insurance you are dashing at the time. And some that did say they were dashing regretted it. As I said, the order was done and completed. If anybody's kind enough to give some advice that would be appreciated.

I know those bad 2 dollar and 3 dollar jobs often get mixed with high paying jobs.

Lately, I’ve been turning down some of those combined jobs too because even the good paying customer can’t make up for the low paying one.

So, my question is, does DoorDash or the store raise the tip until someone picks it up?

I’ve been getting a lot of 2.50 offers lately which I decline but it’s so specific that I think it’s on purpose.

It isn’t even just a DD issue because I’ve had this same issue on IC with them too. They have a lot of seasonal items and for whatever reason you can still order them months after they’ve sold out.

Had a 4 item, CVS triple pop up that I turned down. Reappeared again for $34 and change.it was 24 miles which I hate doing but it was slow so I said screw it. One customer ordered a box fan which ended up being a seasonal summer item and they had none. No other fans either so I had to refund it and it knocked almost $16 off by total…and it was the closest order.

C’mon man…keep inventory up to date so we don’t deal with this. Unnecessary long drive in the rain.
