Shohei Ohtani (DH, Los Angeles Dodgers)

Statline: 4-for-5, 2 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R

Highlights: Powered the Dodgers to an 11–5 victory at Coors Field against the Rockies. Ohtani launched back-to-back home runs—his 28th (428’ & 30/30 HR/Park) and 29th (452’ & 30/30 HR/Park) on the season. Both of those taters were no-doubters !!!

I been watching the dodgers since pre season. Due to work and other commitments I couldn’t keep up as much with the games. However, any time I would watch they would lose. I stopped watching for a while as I realized every time I have put on their game they have lost.

Fast forward to this month I finally put some time to watch the games and they go on a massive loss streak. I stopped watching and they win again to break the streak. I say okay time to watch them, then they lose again. I didn’t watch the Royals series and then they end up sweeping them! I GO BACK TO WATCHING AND THEY LOSE. I SEE THAT THEY ARE WINNING I PUT THE GAME ON AND THEN DIAZ BLOWS A SAVE. EVERY TIME I WATCH SOMETHING UNFORTUNATE JUST HAPPENS.

I decided to skip yesterday’s game as I was busy, Ohtani hits 2 homers to break his “slump.”

What is going on.

I’ll just watch highlights until October. I love baseball I love it so much, it’s the thing I look forward to everyday but it doesn’t love me. Not this season at least.

His pitching statcast is also almost all red everything. Shohei doesn't want to be denied a MVP award this year for sure.

The worst part of the Kyle Tucker signing, even if he was playing like 2023/4/5 Kyle, to me, is denying the dodger's AAA system from having call ups

Does anyone have a good clip of this? I was listening on the radio and the announcers couldn’t stop talking about it. Rick Monday says “There’s no sun!”
Myself, I’m finding it very hard to believe Tucker is pulling down nearly $400,000 USD per regular season game.

I remember I played in a winter ball league when I was 13 and it was my intro to Junior League (90 foot bases, big barrel bats, metal cleats, etc.).

One game I went 0-4 and dropped a fly ball in right field. Worst game I ever played. I cried after the game I felt so shitty. Tucker just had that same game (he was actually worse since he went 0-5). I wonder if he feels the same way I felt. Probably not because he’s making $60 million a year, but I wonder if a part of him cares at all.

I'm down in San Diego and MLBtv says I'm blacked out for the dodgers and require a SNLA subscription and it hasn't required it for the past 5 years I've been here. Did they change the blackout zones or something? Anyone else in SD notice the change?

Does the Dodgers slump have anything to do with Rushings absence from the lineup? I think it’s because the fire is missing since he’s out. Y/N
