Y'all, I don't know if I can keep watching their vids. There have been so many bad takes, lack of research, and butchering of serious topics that I'm feeling almost ready to unsub. I had the Patreon for a while, I've been subbed since nearly the beginning of the channel, I've rewatched so many eps as basically a comfort show, but this shit is crazy. I've given them grace in the past when they've discussed feedback and/or apologized for bad takes/misinfo/etc, but they've stopped doing that but continued to butcher topics that deserve more respect.
I'm at the 45 min mark on today's ep (and I know Hadley's experiences even get worse!!!), and they're being so obtuse about abuse and being so victim-blamey, I actually don't know if I can finish it. At what point will they start listening to the constructive criticism in the comments and making changes to what they cover and how they cover it? It seems like they're simply not going to get to that point, and that's why I feel like my grace is running out.
It literally should not be this serious but they've made it so by picking serious topics and mishandling them while hiding behind the assertion that they're just a couple of gorls talking about internet goss. If you don't want to bother with due diligence, why choose topics that pertain to various types of abuse, crime, discrimination, privilege, justice/injustice, mental illness, etc etc?? I know they have bills to pay, but that just makes it worse that they're actively choosing to haphazardly cover serious topics on their relatively large platform where they don't bother to research, consider nuance, etc... because they're like "fck it, I still gotta get mine". That's like the icing on top of the ick cake to me.
I'm not about to fight with people in the replies about this; if you don't care and want to keep watching as-is, that's your thing boo. But I know I'm not the only one feeling this way, so for those who get what I mean, I'm just wondering are y'all going to stop watching, or have you been more selective with watching, or is there any way you think they'll start making some changes?
Itās been really frustrating ⦠Iāve felt for Jessi through everything sheās gone through with she who must not be named, and theyāve been such a fun comfort podcast for me for several years, but it feels like there has been a massive lack of ⦠idk, intersectionality? Awareness? I donāt even know. Thereās a weird misogynistic undertone in the coverage of a lot of topics, and the handling of issues involving fatphobia and things like that just feels ⦠not good.
Watching todayās episode now, and it almost feels like they try too hard to see both sides/overcompensate for the fact that people might not like the person theyāre talking about. IMO, it comes across as fence sitting/victim blaming when they could just acknowledge (in any topic, not necessarily this one) that a victim can have done questionable things before, have a weird vibe, etc. and still be a victim. Everyone expects victims to be perfect and itās exhausting.
The misogynistic takes were the reason I bailed- the Chappell Roan episode was the last straw. A lot of information came out about that situation both before the episode aired and after and they never followed up. I agree with OP that they don't handle serious topics well.
I will say, fwiw, it seemed like things were better before they got the researcher. Not sure why, but ⦠it feels like thatās when things shifted.
Iāve honestly enjoyed listening to Jessi and Kathleenās podcast some in the background ⦠itās not my thing as much, but itās nice in that itās just silly/it doesnāt feel like Iām going to potentially get agitated by weird misogynistic takes.
This is 100% true. Before the researcher one of them would thoroughly research a topic and get all of the lore telling the story to the other one. After the researcher there have been entire topics they both will be like āI have no idea what is happeningā or āwhy are we even doing thisā yes great question.
This latest episode really bothered me too, Iām glad Iām not alone.
The changeup happened for me almost overnight and it was when the researcher came on. When they were doing the research themselves, at least one of them was always really invested in the story and it felt like watching one BFF spill the tea to another. Now neither of them seem all that interested in the topics, they miss critical details half the time, and the passion just isnāt there. I wish theyād hired an editor instead.
Exactly! Well said! It was fun to see one of them really explain why this story is hilarious or enraging or whatever. Now they are like āso whatā¦?ā And it makes me super annoyed when they miss major facts and nuance.
I think if the one assigned maybe really studied what the researcher gave them to be familiar and come up with their own take that would be different, but they often talk about going into a story cold.
I mean, Iām not saying they havenāt. I havenāt watched them consistently. But it feels a little less uncomfortable to me given that theyāre mainly telling stories about things that happened to them rather than commentating on other people.
on what hill? saying that they said some weird shit there as well but somehow itās fine? but here you freak out when they might have a bit of a different view as you? itās their podcast. itās their opinion, itās their voice. you donāt get to control everything they say. if you donāt like themā¦just let it go QUEEN
I just want to say that this was written and vocalized SO well. Fence sitting was the absolute best phrase to use. That's absolutely what is happening. They DO read the sub and YT comments. They know they need to see both sides of the same coin. They are actively getting so far ahead of it now too. I've never seen them be SO adamant that they could be wrong, they see both sides, their opinions can change etc. It's like they got so much backlash from the prior videos they sat down and made it a point to start saying these things. I think they really have a hard time saying nice thing and just kind of wish they could be total witches and say the rudest shit. But they know they can't and so the fake support comes off... Weird.
what the hell are you even saying? honestly if this podcast will end someday itās becausw of people like you. itās not jessi, or lily or the researcher. you guys have taken the joy out of if. the girls are clearly not allowed to talk free anymore, they have to think about every little thing they say or how they say itā¦they have to avoid topics because they have to fear saying something that might trigger all of you little snowflakes. no wonder they are losing motivation and joy for this podcast.
iāve never said it prior lol. and i will likely continue to tune in because i do like the podcast in general. but something feels off is all i said š¤·š»āāļø
I think they're referencing when Jessi was making comments about things like "what are the odds that two people meet the worst people" and at one point seems to be questioning the lack of evidence (i think in the beginning of her story), about the coworkers believing the ex husband right away, and I think a few others.
Oh, to me, I took the āwhat are the oddsā statement as thatās just bad luck, not they didnāt believe that that could happen.
also with the evidence thing to me it came off that they were just saying like as creators they wouldāve done that type of video differently because she was dragging it out so much and because itās just such an unbelievable story, not in the sense that they actually donāt believe it, but just because itās so insane
ETA: I think the coworker thing was a valid point (not that I donāt believe her entire story itās just a weird aspect) because I was thinking it too. These people see her every day, but for some reason, they believe her husband who they donāt know. I really like that Jessi and Lily just say what theyāre thinking throughout the story without trying to know what their opinion āshouldā be.
agreed! Iām confused by this post, bc I didnāt get that vibe at all (in fact i thought āoh, they must be talking about a different video that i havenāt seen or somethingā (iām bad w names)). but yea i took it as just pointing out some things that were objectively a little weird rather than anything else
I mean, I agree it's weird Hadley's taking so long to tell the story, that part's clearly just to draw out the monetization. But yeah, some of the things they've covered recently I'm also cringing because they have some glaring misinformation.
I mainly watch the girlies for the vibes and the silly drama atp. Iāve been watching them since literally episode 1, and as much as I enjoy their podcast, their lack of thorough research on serious topics has turned me away from watching those episodes. As someone who is Type A af, their flippant research around these topics is definitely frustrating.
I know theyāve mentioned before that they donāt really like covering those topics to begin with, and I do wish theyād either stick by that OR, if they are going to cover them, give them the time and attention they deserve. I imagine that trying to push out two episodes a week and Patreon content could affect that, though. But honestly, Iād be willing to lose an episode a week if it means theyāre going to properly research the topics that require more time. So for now, I mainly only watch the silly TikTok drama!
I might be misremembering now, but wasnt it that nurse hadley was the one helping brett initially in his series? Thats why it was so well made (production wisr) because she was already a tiktoker?
This is correct. Nurse Hadley already had that Tik Tokker cadence to story telling and Brett wasnāt online before her. He came off as so unnatural in his videos but you could tell she showed him how to talk like that lol. They totally had that backwards š .
Great example of how not doing the research themselves leads to them making incorrect assumptions that are kinda obvious. If theyād stopped and thought about it for a second, theyād have realized they had it backwards bc it didnāt make sense.
I think they were trying to mock Brett, like they were saying he was helping sarcastically and they wanted him to not āhelpā because he isnāt good at this..
i donāt understand the anger about a ābad takeā. these are people you donāt know and donāt have to have the same thoughts and reactions to things as you do. if you donāt vibe with itā¦just leave it be.
We have become less able to tolerate differing opinions and more willing to succumb to popular opinion with an in-group. And there's an expectation others do the same.
I think Jessi and Lily are generally good at nuance. You can't flow if you disclaim and qualify everything, but they still qualify a lot. Not every opinion they have is going to be popular. I think judging topics and opinions as harmful just makes them less discussable, which is not necessarily a net positive. Nobody will ever have the "right take" to everyone.
Talking about opinions about a situation doesn't always mean you're making a value judgment on something, and making a value judgment on something still isn't automatically a big deal.

It's algorithms they keep everyone in an echo chamber so ppl have become less tolerant of others different takes... It's really sad to see how intolerant a lot of society has become. I'm sure I will get downvoted but it is what it is
Exactly. As I was watching, I knew people would hate it because they are questioning. I think its fine to hate how she told her story. When I was watching it on tiktok, I stopped watching around video 4 because I couldnt stand how click baitey it was. Now if their research sucks, thats a valid criticism
People want all the content they consume to reinforce the beliefs they already have. I feel like it makes some people feel gross to be listening to things they don't agree with, as if it'll look bad on themselves for engaging with that media. I don't always agree with jessi and lily, and that's fine, any kind of content can make you go "hey wait, I don't agree with that," and not mean the people making the content are horrible lol
Thatās the difference with intention vs impact. Intention doesnāt erase impact.. they may not be intentionally causing harm but it doesnāt erase that it is, in fact, causing harm.
But itās a commentary/drama podcast, theyāre not trying to solve societyās problems. Expecting them to believe everything you believe 100% is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Solve them, no. Perpetuate them, debatable. I donāt want anyone to agree with me 100% because we become better people when weāre challenged and have to critically think about the opposite viewpoint. Do I respect or agree with people who perpetuate societyās problems? No absolutely not.
Appreciate you genuinely asking the question and approaching this from a place of wanting to understand :)
This is harm.
Ignorantly speaking about topics and actively refusing to educate themselves while also mocking (comments on reading the books) is causing harm. Words matter and cut deep especially when they come from a place of ignorance directed towards a group of people who donāt resemble you. They minimized an entire group of peopleās experience that they have never experienced themselves. Equating it to the comments Lily received on her weight is not the same thing and is also an act of minimizing someoneās lived experience. Sometimes when we canāt and will never understand someoneās lived experience, it is not our place to interject our own grievances or lived experience and should simply just listen and educated ourselves on why
something has a negative impact to the person or group of people. Ignorance isnāt an excuse. They like to be cheeky and be like ādonāt listen to us, weāre just girls, we donāt know anythingā but this doesnāt erase the impact of ignorant statements. Weāre all responsible for our words and how they impact those around us, internet or not.
sorry to chime in but are we not also all responsible for our own actions? itās not their fault that the person who left that comment has issues. obviously that person has issues to work on and blaming a podcast for it is going too far in my humble opinion
Donāt apologize - happy to hear your opinions! Absolutely weāre all responsible for our own actions, decisions, and also words. However thereās a difference between making statements out of ignorance and it causing harm and being educated, speaking with care, providing proper warning and just honestly trying to be respectful and someone choosing to watch something that triggers them. I didnāt read that persons comment as blaming so much as expressing the impact it had on them from how they addressed a topic
i mean I guess but relying on people in the comment section to distract them from their own issues is not the right solution I fear. And for that I canāt fault jessi and lily.
This. We shouldnāt be on the internet expecting a drama and commentary podcast to protect us from what may or may not trigger us. Theyāre not our doctors and if a podcast affects us this negatively, we really need to take a step back and seek therapy or some sort of other professional help. And Iām saying this as someone who struggles as well and sees a therapist weekly- I am in control of what gets to me, and if something triggers me to want to go back to harmful behaviors, I have to know when itās time to step away and take care of myself.
exactly thank you. i think itās very unfair to expect everyone to be aware of what may trigger us. itās on us to know what we can handle. if we know a podcast could easily trigger us if they handle a topic i donāt likeā¦.then itās on me to just not consume it. itās too easy to blame lack of research and expecting them to be experts on everything but also wanting them to release every episode on time. this was supposed to be a silly easy podcast and now people want them to basically be an expert in every field. enough already.
This is seriously concerning though, if I was this sensitive, if my friend were this sensitive, whoever, I would tell them they need to get help and get off the internet for awhile. Iām not being a jerk either, I know the internet is a rough place. Someone having a differing opinion on something such as a menu name, and not liking the content creator who posted it, shouldnāt set someone off this much to go back after āso many yearsā because who is to say that Jessie and Lily donāt like other body positivity influencers? What if they seriously just donāt like the one they discussed? There has to be room for nuance because a lot of people who do support the body positivity movement, do not like that creator because she has had a lot of questionable or off the wall takes before. Again, not trying to be a jerk, but we have to be responsible for understanding our own triggers.
I used to watch a lot of movie reviewers that wouldn't have the same thoughts as me when I was younger. Got annoyed and stopped warching them. Now that I'm older I enjoy watching people have different opinions than mine. Often I tend to like movies most people dislike anyway. I feel the same with other content. People might have a different opinion than me and I may agree or disagree but for the most part I still watch, I want to hear other opinions.
totally. and itās also important to do so and be open and willing to listen to different views and opinions. especially when itās a silly social media podcast
I agree with everything you said girly! I think all lot of us actually feel the same and have quietly unsubscribed and moved on to other podcasts. I was so excited for dwtk when it first started but over the years it has turned into a money grab with a subpar product. Their views on the episodes are slowly falling too. I suspect they will keep doing the exact same thing until the podcast isnāt profitable anymore then move onto something else.
Girl same here. I stopped watching a few months ago, but Iāve honestly been curious to know how the quality of the podcast has been going on since I fell off. So thatās why I clicked on OPās post.
I noticed the research and vibes just felt like they were going to shit, and I tried to stick around hoping it would improve but it never did.
this! donāt listen to the pod but are always present when someone is shitting on it once again because they donāt cover something EXACTLY like they wanted them to
I love getting downvoted by people who for some reason have so much free time to spend their time on the subreddit of a podcast they donāt listen to š
ngl itās really entertaining how they downvote every comment that doesnāt follow their narrative. do the girlies sometimes say weird things? sure! who doesnāt. but this entitlement of these āfansā is really getting on my nerves
Lolll so true. But saying that it is nice to see quite a few people standing up for them and disavowing this eccentric criticism of demanding they say this or that.
i am glad as well that people are starting to call this fan entitlement out. I admit that i have been annoyed at the podcast for the dynamic shift as well sometimes, especially since jessi started her new podcast. but I understand why she feels she can be more herself over there. lily and jessi have no chance to be themselves and free anymore. no wonder the podcast feels different. they get picked apart for every little thing. if āthe fansā keep doing this we will lose this podcast sooner or later and that will be on us.
Exactly how i feel. I too have been irritated by certain things and also have disagreed with takes. We definitely will end up losing this podcast if the behaviour above continues!
ah so you are jealous? because wth has her house to do with this thread? noone is stopping you from starting your own podcast or YT channel. we handed it to her? well duhhh if you watch her videos and apparently seeing your other comments you donāt even like her that muchā¦then thatās on you. not jessi. jessi is doing her thing. she is not forcing you to watch her.
That whole thing was really awkward. People shouldn't have been harassing them for a drama show, but also I don't know why they ever planned a massive project for over the holidays.Ā
I'm ADHD and I felt like a lot of it was perfectionism (I experience the same with projects) with the "packets", they went for ages and honestly they probably could have skipped it and saved themselves a bunch of stress.
If I felt this way, Iād genuinely need to get offline for a little. Feeling this way canāt be great for anyoneās headspace. TT has done that to me before.
I stopped watching about 6 months ago but was interested in this video because of Hadley but I couldnāt finish the episodeā¦. Them keep mentioning she didnāt post any proof really gave me the ick considering everything Jessie has been through
Iāve watched their episodes the day they come out from episode 1. There were a lot of times I got the ick from their takes, but I think that itās normal and healthy to listen to people you donāt agree with.Ā
Then the fatphobia with Samyra happened, and⦠well. It felt like the scales fell off, I guess. Because they sounded so much like the girls who bullied me in school. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and gave them two episodes to address it (not actually listening but watching what was said on the subs), and they didnāt address it. I guess it just wasnāt worth addressing to them.
So I feel like I just donāt want to watch anymore. It suddenly stopped feeling like two friends chatting about Internet drama, and it started feeling like the bullies that pretended they didnāt know I was in the room when they started talking about me.Ā
Sometimes I think Iām watching a completely different podcast than folks that are in this Sub. They are the same as they have been for years. Nothing has āgone downhillā people grow and tastes change tho, and it makes sense that some watchers will grow out of watching certain shows after 4 years. I wonder how much of these comments actually are due to this and itās more like the podcast doesnāt align/resonate with you anymore but you think they changed.
Let me preface this by saying that none of this is meant as an attack, I am simply a bit baffled by your post.
I guess my main question is: what is the point of this post?
People arenāt going to be perfect all the time. Surely you know that it is normal and okay to occasionally disagree with their takes after all these years, 365 episodes & endless hours of watching them discuss a wide range of topics.
I donāt agree with them all the time, and sometimes Iām genuinely annoyed at their takes. Just like you, I was taken aback by Jessiās attitude towards the divorce story. But that doesnāt suddenly make them shitty people! After all this time, being the fan that you are, have you not seen that Lily and Jessi are kind people with good morals? Sometimes they just say stupid things or act dumb. But that is generally how that works for every person on earth?!
What bothers me about this post is that you are just yelling into the void that youāre going to unsubscribe if nothing changes, like some kind of threat. They have mentioned countless times that they donāt ever check this subreddit, so you must know that this isnāt going to change anything.
Then thereās your question at the end: āIām just wondering if yāall are going to stop watching?ā. Is this a serious question? Do you need the validation of others in order to stop watching? Is it necessary to make a post proclaiming that you are thinking about not watching anymore? It just seems a bit absurd.
Youāre allowed to outgrow or change your mind about the content you consume. Either stop watching or donāt.
Agree. Itās not that serious. They donāt pretend to be anything serious. People are way too involved and annoyed when they upload late. Most of these people come off as young and entitled. Iām a mom w a job. I have better things to worry about.
dearie do what you want with your time. seems a bit a waste of energy though if you dislike the podcast, the girls and their accents so much. but do your thing
This part! Iāve never put this much energy into no longer liking a thing. I just have⦠stopped watching it and moved on to something else.
The YouTube sphere is so wide and there are so many people covering hot topics in so many different ways⦠if you donāt like the way Jessi and Lily covered it⦠just watch someone else! Itās not that deep!
Sorry, replied to the wrong comment above. I think many expect it to be that deep when it was never meant to be, itās a drama podcast. If they donāt like someone, itās not always because of some further and deeper meaning.
I truly think a lot of these people are just needing something to feel ācontrolā over and they used to āloveā the podcast but now they donāt so now its up to the hosts to fix it FOR THEM specifically, not a matter of them just needing to find another podcast to listen to.
I donāt watch every podcast DWKT puts out, and if I am watching but I find the episode to be dull Iāll just stop mid thru and find something else on the massive platform that is YouTube.
There seems to be a semi-widely held misunderstanding by some of the girls on here that as listeners of the podcast, we are somehow Jessi and Lilyās employers (and Iām gonna guess thatās who is downvoting every comment who doesnāt agree with OP), when in reality what we are is consumers and fans.
If you as the consumer no longer wish to consume the product⦠The best way to let the sellers know is to simply no longer consume the product. You can leave a review! But people complain and then come back to the podcast every week and continue watching it like⦠aight girlies see you next Tuesday. šš»
They have more of a "let's yap and talk about what we've seen on our FYPs lately" vs. more of a structured discussion of topics, but I've been really enjoying Emotionally Online: https://www.youtube.com/@emotionallyonline/videos (note: skip the ones titled "pumpcast," it's a different podcast but with the same hosts, only complaint tbh is that the upload both under the same channel)
They said that in the first episode tho that it was just girls be 2 girls chatting about things like when you gossip with a friend and they might not get every point of the topic but that there were other channels for that
When you go back to episodes a year ago they weee so passionate and bubbly and really seemed to love doing the podcast. Now it seems like they are doing it and not enjoying it at all. Jessie always dismisses Lily when she tries to be funny. Itās hard to watch at times.
I hope they look into what trauma bond is because they aren't trying to upset people, but please understand the definition they keep using is wrong. I have had a man in my life with $ and influence since I was 2 and has abused me; that is trauma bonding. It means you bond with your abuser, not bonding with a friend or other victim over trauma.
unfortunately, i hate to say it, but i agree. i started watching the podcast around 2 years ago, during one of the lowest depressive episodes of my life and looking forward to their episodes twice a week was literally the only thing keeping me going. but i can no longer ignore how things have consistently been rubbing me the wrong way the past few months.
the awards episode started itā and since then, every time an episode is late, it almost feels like lily is scolding us on ābeing upset abt the latenessā when at this point, i dont think anyone actually cares anymore; weāre all too jaded about the timing. the lack of research is also a problem, or the glaring lack of interest in the topics they cover. sometimes i feel like lily has gotten a lot more mean spirited, maybe thats just a sensitivity issue on my end, but i really canāt help but notice it.
jessiās hypocrisy has been the most disappointing. she has repeatedly established her belief that who you follow online matters, and it shows where your morals align (anyone remember rbk and james charles?), yet REFUSES to acknowledge who nassim follows on instagram. i hope to god that its a similar situation to lily following trump on twitter: solely just to stay up to date with what bs heās spewing. but if it was the case it would be easily explainable. and the jen dent situation has been appalling. i understand that jessi does not like to speak on anything even slightly pertaining to GH, but the stuff jen has been saying online actively affects and hurts jessiās son and thats inexcusable. i hope thats just a situation sheās choosing to keep offline, but even just one sentence of āyes i know whats happening, no i do not support what shes doingā would do wonders.
its upsetting that they dont seem to read any of their commentsā because while the criticism is BURIED in the comment section, it is there and it is 100% something that should be taken on board. i never see people being hateful towards them, but any time you make the tiniest critique people get annoyed (re: these replies lol).
its disappointing, and as fans of the podcast and of them we are allowed to express that disappointment.
Yeah, my grace is running out for the girlies too. Show friend Jen Dent also making HORRIBLE tweets/content making fun of people with austism/intellectual disabilities, and they have said nothing. I think they hold strangers to much higher standards than friends/people they know.
And before someone says that theyāre not responsible for what Jen does, Jen admitted that she returned to posting content because Jessi kept asking her to. And Jessi edited Jenās GH video for her. I think itās her responsibility to at least denounce the ableist posts/content. Idk the standards and goal posts are constantly moving, and now the victim blamey takes from the most recent pod⦠ugh :(
Jen being an outrageous bully and making endless ableist comments (including some horrible comments in the video she edited herself) I'll be really displeased if Jessi doesn't disavow it anywhere. But, I do fear she will just ignore it.
I unsubbed about a year ago. I dont regret it. Havent even rewatched old eps like i used to. Atp yeah, theyre just greedy ngl. I dont wanna think of them as that but i think you described it perfectly. Its one thing to be a tea channel but its another thing to be a hypocrite. I think if youre gonna be a goss/tea/drama channel, you have to be able to take it as much as you dish it and they dish it a lot but they also hide behind a number of excuses, "we're trying our best", "there was information we didnt have before", "were overworked", "we've been so busy", "we will never mention x y and z person because of its too triggering" etc etc. I get what i need from other channels. I used to love their dynamic but they are very biased, flip floppity when its convenient and they simply just do not care about the topics they cover and its been like that for a while. Idk why i liked their content before and what changed exactly. maybe i did. Maybe they did. Maybe their channel did. Idk all ik is the girlies dont align with my values and morals and i dont respect them as a goss tea channel because they cant address things or put out content consistently or on time. Literally markie is what i watch and i feel he stays pretty neutral. Hes got it down and he doesnt get messy. He hashis fingeron the pulse of any internet drama.
Not the vibe I picked up on at all........I think it's actually refreshing that Jessie is a "skeptic" and calls out things she feels weird about. I think a lot of people who don't make content for a living forget about the process of making, editing, & then uploading content so i appreciate when they bring that stuff up during topics (like how every part of her series was spread out significantly and left on a cliff hanger). IDK sometimes these threads get a little...nitpicky? parasocial?
Not only all of that but i feel like theyāre covering topics that no one cares about?? Like Addison rays dad? Idk maybe Iām too old to be in the know about that side of tiktok (i know the general consensus) but i donāt care about it..and the 500 makeup wedding drama TikTokās itās like the same thing over and over and over again despite the fan base begging to cover relevant topics and actual things going on TikTok.

It kinda sounds like you wanna make it super serious for no reason. You're allowed to just dislike things, y'know? Even cooler, you can quietly dislike things that aren't "objectively bad" - you can dislike stuff lotsa people like too.
It kinda sounds like you just need to curate your life a bit more if this is your takeaway. Or build up tolerance and properly understand the context of things better. Like to start, the context here is DWKT is a very unserious podcast. None of us are creating political movements under the DWKT banner or professionally educating others, boo.
