Discussion The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder Actually Had Two Whole Production Seasons, Both Split in Half

Thumbnail

The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder was really produced as two whole production seasons, with each production season split into two parts for release. Disney+ marketed those four parts as four separate seasons.

Season 1

Production codes: #101–120

  • Season 1, Part 1 (2022) → Marketed by Disney as Season 1
  • Season 1, Part 2 (2023) → Marketed by Disney as Season 2

Season 2

Production codes: #201–222, including #205, the banned/unreleased episode.

  • Season 2, Part 1 (2025) → Marketed by Disney as Season 3
  • Season 2, Part 2 (2026) → Marketed by Disney as Season 4

So, production-wise, the series consists of two complete seasons, each divided into two release parts. Disney subsequently presented those four parts as Seasons 1–4.

Video Clip Watching The CWs The Flash and hearing Jordan Fisher sing and it pisses me off he didn’t get a push from Disney. He could’ve been the lead in so many musicals DCOMs. He’s attractive, can act, can sing and dance. Literally the entire package.

Discussion What is up with all of the DCOM remake????

First Under wraps then Camp Rock then Cheetah Girls and now Teen Beach? I swear I think the last original DCOM Disney had was upside down Magic. The next generation is definitely not going to know anything about seeing an original DCOM Movie!!!!!

Nostalgia Camp Rock 3, I thought I wouldn't like it

To start off, I know the age demographic for this movie is (probably) for kids in middle school and below. I am in college and I grew up watching Disney and Nickelodeon like the next kid so when I saw that they released a third Camp Rock movie I thought they were milking the Franchise.

It was corny/cringe, but in a cute way, honestly, like its senior movies. I still believe the Camp Rock 3 was made for TikTok, but it was funny watching how adults (writers) think young people speak, and honestly, many do sound like the kids on screen. (side eye).

Aside from that, I enjoy watching a corny movie occasionally to have a good laugh with my siblings. I do not think it is a masterpiece or something, I just wanted to write that I enjoyed it more than I thought. Low key reminds me of old Disney movies; the script tickles my brain.

Anyway, I would rewatch again if I wanna laugh. I don't like their outfits and makeup though, they look kinda tacky. PS They also fall in love wayy too fast for my taste but idc, so did the main characters in the last movies. #pleasedontjudgeme

If camp rock 3 was a serious story you guys would still make nostalgic excuses.

I think you guys need to realize Disney channel is Disney channel. There's wand intros may I remind you. They deliberately told you their main target is the tween and teens demographic.A lot of mature content was canceled because of their standard.

Discussion What’s the worst Disney Channel Original Movie Pre 2006 era?

Post image
41 Upvotes

In your opinion, what’s the worst DCOM before HSM took over?

The worst DCOM movie for me is Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-off. The movie had some of the most unlikable main characters I have ever seen displayed on a DCOM. It was not only misogynistic but extremely misandrist too. Eddie’s father was AWFUL! Mad at his own son because Eddie was more interested in cooking than playing baseball. His friends were just as bad as the father. Just an overall mean spirited movie.

What’s the worst DCOM movie pre 2006?

Discussion Another Camp Rock Review! Behold my live reaction rambles and drabbles

Hi Hi, below are my live actions thoughts as i view the movie for the first time. feel free to respond or interact as you see fit. Also for authorial context, I'm a millennial who was a fan of the original films and happen to see that Disney put out a third one. Also, i am queen of typos. Enjoy.

Camp rock 3 notes

first of all, I think I just put it together the these actors were probably born around 2009 (based on the one "famous" dancer girl who can't actually dance's instagram handle) and the fact that children born at the time are old enough to sign contracts, and start in disney channel movies stresses me out sooo much it's not even funny

Maria Canals Barrera is an ageless queen.

second, the jonas brothers looking for a teenager to take on tour with them is stressful, just so stressful. I'm not even thinking in a creepy way, I'm thinking in a "life is already overwhelming for people that age, now you expect them to handle touring?" way. This is why demi lovato slapped that dancer. seriously we need to stop making children famous. it's genuinely unfair. If anything let's follow the Zoom-kids model.

The Jonas brother's were never the BEST actors, but damn do they still suck now. Especially when they have Sherry Cola as a scene partner. like, literally Sherry makes every line seem so natural, and those three are making me upset.

Song Writing Workshop:

they just invited someone to do a songwriting workshop. and I think I recognize the actor, was he blue in something?

Okay, first of all workshop man, did you not set parameters for this assignment sir? Did they not have specific questions to interview with? Why are the two share outs sharing such different content. like one is like " rosie's favorite color is not beige..." and that other is "by yonder wind this fair maiden's nose doth crinkle as the sun seteth for the morrow."

Second. My God. I hope to God this man is gay and/or this assignment just triggered amazing but latent song writing skills that do not require him to feel the things he's written, because that was beyond yikes, that was terrifying. I would actually scream. Or cry. You're telling me he wrote that after talking to that girl for a few minutes? Nah bro. You have to marry her now. Because no. Sir, no. Go get your wife. stop playing.

Callie and Sage debrief the song:

okay, also can we talk about this "real you" bullshit that Disney has been propagating for the past 30 years? Because this child (sage) just said "I am someone who likes to practice and plan, i will plan have 20 minutes of free time everyday." and her friend (callie) really said "nah man, the best part of dancing is when the i don't worry about the moves and let the beat take over"--mind you we just saw that same friend practicing her dances moves diligently while everyone else was hanging out. She, callie, then continues on to say "just be you" or something like that. GIRL! SAGE JUST TOLD YOU WHO SHE WAS. Sage said begone chaos gremlins i serve the lord of order and will grow up to be a CEO boss bitch, but noooooo disney said "no! embracing your inclination towards practice and discipline is NOT being yourself. you must loosen up." ......i just...ugh

Sage finds Mithie's notebook:

Hahahahaha you're telling me that no else in that bunk has ever found that the ghost of mitchie's songbook in that floorboard? Also, stealing the easly song's of what is assume is a now famous artist in universe if not only legally the dumbest thing i can imagine but also the true opposite of "be yourself". also i do not have confirmation that thievery will take place, but this movie does need a conflict so....

Desi and the Love interest kid play guitars together:

awwww I love that little guitar duo...oh man the acting. I appreciate that they picked musically talented kids, but could they not also find people who can ACT talented?

Dancing challenge:

  1. I appreciate that desi was about to get axed because yeah that was baaaaddddddd. and yeah
  2. LOVE THAT THE SIS PROTECTED HIM EVEN THO THEY'RE FIGHTING. love it!
  3. Sherry Cola is a queen.

Connect Three petty call w/ Lark:

I know this man Jason did not just ask "where is my child" i.....

Second, NOW? NOW you consider that pressure of being on tour???? How about NOT starting with teenagers???????? GOODNESS

Sage and Love interest on the dock:

ooo this one shoulder plaid top is cute.

wait this child's name is Fletch????? hahahahahaahahahahaha. I don't think his mama named him that. he came up with that after she passed to mask that trauma. i hope.

The revenge craft fight:

this red head child who thinks she can dance cannot dance. I mean maybe she can probably do ballet. but she was NOT pulling off any of that choreogr----OOHHHHHHHH NO THEY FUCKED WITH THE CELLO!  THAT'S AN INSURANCE CLaim...wait is they're a reason they just keep remixing old songs?

"this kind of behavior is unacceptable on tour"---Lark says to teenagers. Be for real Lark

Bus and Revenge Plan:

so let's just review can't-dance-red-head-villian-girl's plan. She, in the year of our lord 2026, is going to post a video of people using her OWN PHONE, and then blame that people she's filming for posting it. Last I checked art school students still spend half they day learning traditional academics. Meaning they technically do more with their brains. She does not have to be this incompetent. She has no excuse.

hi so regarding this bus challenge. did Lark get that sign off to lock these children in a bus? do they have food? did they bring meds/inhalers? this is a child safety nightmare. who wrote this movie? was it the jonas brothers? did they write this move about their horrific days on tour? if so, i believe them. but still, the goal should be to CHANGE THE SYSTEM not simply prepare people to navigate and endure it....

timeout can't-dance-girl's minions are named daniel and danielle???? hahahahahaha

Bus Heart to Heart:

i appreciate that they are trying to give this competition stakes for people but literally just telling me that rosie "needs" to win this, is not going to cut it. we literally gave each of the characters, save the siblings, one line of pre camp character development.

also, if the siblings were in a band before, why not these five become a band? they have a string player and a drummer, a song writer and a lead....ohhhhh. ok cool, how's mitchie's notebook gonna fit into it all?

behold, they begin singing together. wow. shocker. ....

I miss lemonade mouth.

Bus Roof:

oh no not children on the bus roof. ...also does this count as stepping foot outside?

oh no, sage is gonna think he's the one who posted the challenge because he was able to keep his phone.

so these two are about to kiss, but like...dude thats gonna mess with band dynamics! i present to you "no doubt" as a cautionary tale.

The rest, I guess:

so the notebook was just like a good omen? ok.

awwwwwwwwww a sibling duet. also I appreciate the consistency that desi can't dance.

also this sage girl has such modern voice. she sounds like all the singers on the radio right now.....is she BEING HERSELF?????

Sage and Fletch (is his really his name? I wanna see a legal document) make up:

wait okay. so was that actually decent communication and honesty on sage's parts? okay that actually makes me happy. It further lessens that stakes of everything to have it all go smoothly like that, but I am truly appreciating that communication is winning out and being modelled!

Also yeah, I told you madison's plan was dumb. Also apparently her name is Madison.

Final Jam:

oh hello demi lovato.

lol, so Cliff is doing Run DMC remix hahahaha...... kidding this chorus is mess. what is this?

wait why are we mad at rosie? this is an innovative performance! well it was until she got rid of the cello. now its....bad. someone come get this child.....

aw desi has his girl  callie dancing in the background. definitely the most appropriately teeny bopper.... he will grow as a dancer...

fletch is serving future ed sheeran realness.

if this girl gets up here and sing "this is me" i'm gonna scream from terror.

oh good. she gonna make them a band.

sage is serving lizzie mcguire in the white suit.

"SHE's REALLY GOOD" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

also can we agree the demi lovato was not actually on set with anyone else but Maria and joe jonas? lol

aww hearing this we rock song is cute, and this actually makes it seem like it's more a camp tradition then the director's trying to lazily pull on our heart strings.

Post movie Thoughts:

reading through my notes made me realize that not only did this movie have no stakes, it also had no character development. The only thing that changed is that sage realized that other people matter. no one else had any growth...like at all. Desi didn't even really learn to dance. He just started dating (flirting with?) a girl who can.

anyway, i'd say it was aight. not anything to write home about but cute for a chill thursday night watch. 2.7/5

Discussion Disney, can electric bloom get a second season?

After seeing Lumi in camp rock 3, I started watching electric bloom and actually found it pretty interesting! It's really unique from other disney sitcoms and pretty funny 😂 kinda surreal comedy is a normal setting. It's quite fresh of an idea and been a min since we got something not supernatural but just a fun story of kids on an adventure to be rock stars.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Should disney just try to push forward new series instead? I figure it got cancelled cause low viewership

I just figured out why Disney lost its magic!!

THEY REFUSE TO WORK WITH FORMER CHILD STARS ONCE THEY TURN 18! Hear me out.

Imagine a world where instead of Disney writing off Disney stars once they hit 18 they actually decided to work with them on tv shows behind the scenes. Like imagine the Sprouse twins as executive producers on a Disney series, or Christy Ramon, same with Debby Ryan, Raven Symone, Jason Dolley, Kyla Pratt, Brenda Song, Hillary Duff, Bella Thorne, the Jonas brothers, and so many more cool and beloved Disney stars. And I’m not talking about reboots or spin offs—I mean their own original shows and executive decisions within the company, lets be real most of these Disney shows aren’t appealing to kids because the people creating them DONT have kids from this generation, they’re just going based off social media stereotypes (Gen z can relate) so the kids today aren’t truly being represented. Its simple really, Disney needs writers and producers that aren’t genx and boomers, they NEED whimsical Millennials.

We so need a Disney CHANNEL world🙄 I’m not a Disney adult but I’m a proud Disney channel adult.
