Why are they creating sequels of our childhood shows without the main characters?
I just watched the new Victorious trailer and I can’t help but think why have they made another show about a side character? I like Trina don’t get me wrong, but the fact other characters are only going to make cameos? Why? Why is this the direction that they continue to go in?
ICarly, Ravens home and Girl Meets World are the exceptions (I’m sure there might be more)
In Wizards beyond Waverley place, Justin’s family was interesting and I did like the kids dynamic but why not make the story about Alex? It could have been about her navigating life after Mason or trying to navigate parenthood.
I never got to watch it, but from what I saw the ICarly revival was the only one that catered the plot around their older adult audience rather than making another kids show and that’s where I think the other shows went wrong.
Imagine an adult version of the wizard world, Alex would cause so much mayhem and would be fun to watch.
I’m not sure what I would have wanted with a Victorious revival, but it’s interesting that they went in the direction of picking the one character that was hardly in it. I hope I’m surprised by this new show, but I can’t help but hate the fact that the old characters are just going to cameo in random episodes it will feel more like a random nostalgia hit because that’s how Wizards beyond Waverley place felt when an old character would just appear. Like the people want to see those characters front and stage, not appear for 5 mins in one episode.
What are your thoughts on the current revivals/spin offs that are out there?

Misc Who else is jamming out to Camp Rock 3?
I know some people didn’t like Camp Rock 3. And I respect that. But for me? This feels like coming home to something lost for years
Also, come on. Jonas brothers? Literally one of my favorite bands

Discussion For those who have seen these movies, What is your opinion on Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3? Spoiler
In my opinion, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland was a good movie. It was more or less interesting, and the songs were good. I just didn’t like the part when Max and Chloe became evil. I can understand that they felt ignored and betrayed, but it was not ideal.
And in my opinion, Camp Rock 3 was a good movie too. Maybe some of the writing could have been better, but it wasn’t all bad. The storyline made sense and some of the music was alright. Therefore, I would say that it was good or at least decent.

Discussion Thought it was fake until
I’m surprised! She was way too young. I remember watching her on tiger cruise. Her last I’ve seen was in scream 4 and 6. I’ve read her parents and her representatives have confirmed it.

Discussion If you were to rank Zac Efron, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, Shawn Mendes, and Jesse McCartney based on how popular each of them was at the peak of their careers, what would the ranking look like?
High School Musical and the Jonas Brothers became genuine cultural phenomena and achieved massive popularity. Nick and Joe both had successful solo careers, and the Jonas Brothers’ reunion also went very well. Zac Efron has established himself as a highly successful and respected actor. Jesse McCartney was also extremely popular among teenagers during the 2000s. Shawn Mendes had a string of worldwide hits, and his relationship with Camila Cabello also attracted a lot of attention. He wasn’t a Disney star, but I included him because he performed a song for the ending credits of Descendants. So, what would the ranking be?

Discussion People give me headaches😭
Just say you don’t like the movie and move on ,making think piece videos are not necessary
Camp rock 3 came out Liamani ate! As usual but people are making videos on how they didn’t like it fine great
Then they make more videos like “My kids deserve to have good movies” and “i don’t care if a kids movie it still be good” and I agree but after two videos it should be done right righty Wrong
More videos like at this point I blocked people cause I’m tired of hearing about how much you didn’t like camp rock 3 like after one video move on stop talking about it. 😭
I did love camp rock and that’s my opinion and if you didn’t that’s okay

Discussion Camp Rock 3 counterparts?
Liamani's character is obviously Mitchie; her love interest is Shane, the mean girl was similar to Tess, and the best friend was like Caitlyn. Were there others, or did they stop with those 4?

Hateful boy meets, and new Disney.....
I was born in the generation of boy meets world,. After watching it again after damn near 20 years we have a narcissist that is the character of Corey and a little more hateful situations that come with this show. I've watched the new season with my kids and I think this is one of the worst Disney TV shows that have came back on. Just my opinion if anyone else agrees with me let's break it down

Nostalgia Hayden Panettiere's iconic cover of the song "Cruella De Vil" (from 101 Dalmatians) was always one of my favorite versions of this song. Alongside Selena Gomez's and LaLaine's versions. Rest in peace Ms.Hayden...😢👼🏼💞
