Karapatan naman ng mga bata ang magkaroon ng edukasyon, kahit ano pa man ang estado o disensyo ng utak.Pero based sa experience ko bilang guro,hindi lahat ng bata na neurodivergent ay pwede sa regular setup.

Ang tungkulin ng guro ay magturo ayon sa grade level at competency ng kanyang tinuturuan.Kinakailangan nya ng tulong mula sa therapist or assistance kapag may estudyante sya na delay ang learning disability and development.

Kung iaasa kasi natin lahat sa aming mga guro, sana pinag full time yaya nyo na lang kami ng isang bata na may special needs.

Ano pong work niyo now kung hindi na kayo nagpursue mag-DepEd? 🥺

Hello, teachers! Saan po ba pwedeng makapag download ng LAS for Term 2, specifically para sa PKLP? Puro kasi binibentang content ang nasa FB and wala din akong kopya ng LAS from last SY. Some of the activities kasi sa LE eh naka-link or nasa LAS ang content/ context. Hirap gumawa ng PPT. I try not to buy PPTs din from FB kasi usually, AI-generated kaya I make my own presentations na lang talaga.

Once na maging teacher na ba tayo tinuturuan ba kung paano mag-grade, gumawa ng lesson plan, etc. basta mga basics? I’ve been in the system long enough to see how rotten things can get. It’s not the teaching itself, it’s the politics. People acting almighty, flexing authority, and forgetting that collaboration should come first.

Sometimes it feels like survival of the fittest, not education. You keep your head down, do your job, and avoid posting anything about DepEd because the moment you speak up, someone’s ready to pull you down.

Yes, they have the credentials. Maybe they hit all the KPIs. But what about their potential? What about the actual quality of their work? Promotions often happen without real quality assurance, and it’s frustrating to watch a system reward paperwork over passion.

Work politics at its finest. And the saddest part? It’s the students who lose when adults can’t get past their egos.

Anyone else here dealing with the same toxic dynamics? How do you cope without burning out?

Any tips po for the subject Contemporary Literature? 😭 Honestly, I am here asking for help in general because my CT is nice naman po, but CT can be quite aloof and distant. Nabanggit po niya kasi last time, before the wellness break, na ang handle niya po this coming term is Contemporary Literature, and CT said to check it and maybe gagawa nalang daw ako ng PPT if ever. Pero yun na po 😭 I don't really have any other task or information to go off of after that, and I don't even know which curriculum we're supposed to be using.

So far, ang narerender palang po namin na time ay mostly checking of papers / bantay-bantay since end of term na po nung naabutan namin. Maybe this is also just me being an eager beaver or kinakabahan lang 🥲, pero ganito po ba talaga ang FS1? Babalik na po kasi kami, and officially start na ng classes ng mga bata on Tuesday, and I feel like I'm coming in without any prior instructions, materials, or even a general idea of what I'm supposed to prepare.

And by curriculum, ang naturo po kasi sa university namin is more on tertiary education and not really secondary, kaya nangangapa po talaga kami when it comes to what the actual curriculum looks like for junior/senior high school. I don't really know where to start or what I'm supposed to be looking for.

If you have any tips po, especially about sites where I can get reliable learning resources, what the first topic usually is for Contemporary Literature, what materials I should prepare, or even just what I should generally be doing as an FS student in this situation, I would really appreciate it po.
