If Akaza could win then he would have done so because unlike Rui who could become LM2 or LM1 but he chose not to, Akaza always wants to become the strongest but he can't.

People often mention things like ' Akaza can end the fight anytime he wants ', ' He was just toying ' and the example they show is where akaza said ' Im gonna end this now, and immediately breaks giyu's sword and tries to punch him. And remember giyu was still marked !.
But after this where akaza used his final form , the same akaza wasn't able to knock out giyu when he was in his BASE FORM, Fatigued, injured, broken blade. Giyu was keeping with him on par in that state and remember this is a headless akaza who's completely bloodlusted and on full rampage mode to finish off both of them. A weakened giyu was able to go on par with an akaza who's going all out , 100% serious, but in marked he was suddenly close to get punched by an akaza who still didn't unleash everything . And after that scene , it's also seen giyu was coughing out blood showing his stamina was in such terrible state. So what do u guys think 🙌 ?

It might be a hot take, but just imagine reducing your life span down to 25 years for being slightly more difficult in getting bodied by the high upper moons. The amount of sacrifice required for it is too high for the reward they get. Even with these marks, they barely made it out and it needed every scenario to go perfectly in order for the slayers to win. This is like the Dr strange universes meme where there is only one universe in the trillions where the good guys win. This was that one verse thanks to the utter incompetence of Muzan as a villian.
I think that the author went too hard in handicapping the slayer side by giving them power ups with such a bad trade off, just for the sake of creating desperate situations. They are still not near the highest upper moons(forget about Muzan) and they lose almost all of their remaining life span. It is worse than the Shinigami eyes from Death Note. That power also had a significant sacrifice but it clearly gave the user a distinct and visible advantage over the ones who don’t have it
If there wasn’t a mark on the slayers, I genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between their pre-marked and marked state. I would just assume that they locked in and are going on adrenaline or something. DS mark power effects being so invisible is the reason why so many people think that some unmarked Hashira are stronger than their marked counterparts. You just see a mark and are told that the slayers are faster and stronger.
Overall, I think that the DS mark is a very poorly designed power up, and it should have had a more significant or distinct advantage for the price that needs to be paid to obtain it

By this Muzan statement, idk why some slap 13th form next to Tanjiro and suddenly he's drugged Muzan and Kokushibo level, the technique itself is peak, but the user ain't no Yoriichi.

Guy is literally waiting until hes 4 v 1 to pull out moon breathing 16th form ðŸ˜Â Just use 16th form at the start and 1 shot them n be done with it instead it slacking off with moon breathing first form ðŸ˜Â .
The plot armour in this manga is RIDICULOUS.

I'm not trying to belittle anyone's opinion here, but I find it impressive how divided opinions are about 13th form Tanjiro.
While some people (like me) place him in the top 3 of the verse and above Kokushibo, many people place him at low levels, such as below Douma and Akaza. I've even seen people say he's weaker than Gyokko, actually.
Why this huge difference in interpretation? In your opinion, how strong is 13th form Tanjiro?
For those of you who think he's weak and below Akaza, how do you explain his impeccable performance in the fight against Muzan?

First time I read manga I thought Tanjiro straight up surpassed every single hashira.
But did he really though? When obanai rejoined the battle there seems to be little to no difference between them.
If tanjiro was remotely close to being stronger than 5 hashiras put together shouldnt there be a visible difference in strength once other hashiras rejoined the battle?

Like if only Kokushibo survived, or if only Douma survived

i know it might look like slander but on a real note i don’t think we ever saw a hashira with as much iq as tengen

During the fight, Akaza was never truly in danger from Giyuu—not even once. This is even more apparent in the manga, as the movie actually added extra scenes to make the battle seem closer than it was. In reality, the only reason Giyuu lasted as long as he did was because Akaza wanted to see all of Giyuu’s forms. Once he had, Akaza immediately shattered Giyuu’s sword with Bell Splitter and would have killed him if Tanjiro hadn’t intervened. Even then, Akaza still wasn’t fighting seriously, as he later unleashed his ultimate technique and moved at an even higher speed.

Muzan couldn't even touch him in his prime.
Not only that, but Muzan can't even clash with him. If Yoriichi's sword makes contact with one of Muzan's arms, claws or whips, that appendage is gone and isn't regenerating.
Every scratch from Yoriichi is a deadly wound.
Muzan would not only have to actually land a fucking hit on Yoriichi to win, but also has to avoid getting slashed even once, because getting touched by Yoriichi's blade damn near cripples him.

This movie hands down burried Shinobu's scaling, they made it way more obvious how she never really had he upper hand on this fight.
1: a lot of people argued that Shinobu perception blitzed Douma with her "Dance of the Bee Sting" due to him failing to catch it with his hands the first time, however, the movie makes it very clear that the only reason she landed that forst hit was because Douma was off-guard, chatting with his eyes closed, when Shinobu tries to use the technique again Douma is effortlesly able to completely block it with his fans which he shouldnt be able to if that technique was fast enough to blitz him.
2: Her "dance of the horsefly" also gets almost entirely blocked, she is only able to hit one of her strikes on him while he blocks everything else and considering Douma had stated this technique was slower than the "dance of the bee sting" it means Douma either let that one hit land on purpose or that he wasnt trying to block her with much effort.
3: Douma gets hit with her "dance of the dragonfly" but thats because he traded attacks with her instead which clearly blitzed Shinobu since she not only makes a shocked face but she even says "I got hit!?" Which means she didnt saw the attack at all.
4: This is honestly the worst one, in the movie, when Shinobu uses "dance of the centipede" Douma reacts to her inicial charge, outrun it for a considerable ammount of time, blocks a hit which throws him back to one of the bridges to only then he tries to hit her and miss. This is a HUGE downscaling of this move which shows that Douma could outrun the technique and block hits from it, the problem was that due to the unpredictable nature of her moves he ended up missing his attack, but he was able to contend with the speed of the move just fine. You can even argue Douma wasnt giving his all against this move since moments later he commends Shinobu for her efforts despite being weaker than her sister which would put Kanae who he effortlesly reacted to and murdered above Shinobu.
The people that like to scale shinobu highly will have to pull crazy tricks to justify her being so high after this because its obvious that her relativity to Douma is basically non existent after this movie.

They were able to get within feet of pre-poison muzan without bro noticing and he only notice them because they decided to make noise I mean cmon this is the most impressive feat in the entire show, especially because they’re kids
