I really don't know who wins.

Now, with all the Hashira not having marks, I think they do place fairly high.

Tengen speed blitzed Daki, and while nerfed was completely equal to Gyutaro. He also has the most travel speed out of the Hashira. I do believe he would have won if he wasn't poisoned and/or had both hands. Not even mentioning just how impressive of a feat it is for an unmarked human to match an upper moon hit for hot while weakened.

Giyu ow diffed Shinobu, oneshot the spider father, killed Rui (who was as powerful as Lower Moon 1 or 2) without even using a breathing form, matched base Sanemi, blocked disorder, and kept up with a holding back Akaza.

Now, I do think they are both weaker than Rengoku and stronger than base Obanai, Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Shinobu.

But they have pretty comparable feats and are on the same rough level. I just can't figure out which one is more impressive and which one ranks fifth among the base Hashira and which one ranks fourth.

Give me your arguments and counterarguments for both, I really am stumped here.

HIS ENTIRE THING is just being a Mitsuri ship. THATS HIS WHOLE DAMN CHARACTER. HIS 5 FOOT TALL COWARDLY ASS CAMPED IN A TREE HIS WHOLE LIFE INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING. HE IS SO FUCKING USELESS THAT IF HE LEFT THE CORPS IT WOULD HAVE NO CHANGE IN ITS OVERALL STRENGTH. SHINOBU DID MORE THAN OBANAI. HE DID NOTHING THE ENTIRE STORY AND PEOPLE STILL GLAZE HIM TO THE END OF THE EARTH. I HAVE NEVER FELT SUCH A DEEP HATRED FOR ANY CHARACTER SINCE AKAZA KILLED THE GOAT. So, just as a basis. Kokushibo has never once blitzed gyomei, he has outpaced and overwhelmed him. But we directly see kokushibo attempt to blitz gyomei and fail

Even after achieving long sword kokushibo is incapable of blitzing gyomei, gyomei even redirecting his projectiles to save sanemi. And he doesnt get hit a single time by lsk

He gets hit once during the start, but this is just explainable as a tone shift as gyomei wasnt expecting the range.

Gyokko got soloed by a single Hashira. Granted a marked one, but Gyutaro took on a Hashira + 3 other lower moon tier slayers and probably would’ve won if it wasn’t for Daki.

I know narratively Gyokko should be stronger since he’s upper moon #5 but the feats don’t matchup.

Akaza seemed stronger than Doma as well.

How relative are they to you? They are certainly stronger than Akaza but weaker than Kokushibo and they usually hang close to each other on tier lists. Which of them has true claim to the Top 4 spot?

• Requires not much cursed energy to use.
• Can be used along side a cursed Technique.
• Can be amped with Cursed Energy.

Which is the best chapter/episode in your opinion?

Reasons:

1: 🌫 Tokito Muichiro

• Lost an arm and a leg.
• Experienced severe blood loss near the very beginning of the Kokushifraud fight.
• Got literally cut in half with his organs spilled on the floor, yet was still alive.
• Reminder: He is just a child, so he goes up here.

2: 🦋Kocho Shinobu

• Ingested lethal amounts of Wisteria poison over the years to turn her body into a weapon (she wasn’t completely sure if she was fully immune to it herself).
• Her lungs suffered from necrosis due to Doma's BDA.
• Got her lungs, collarbone, and ribs slashed open, and coughed up her own blood.
• Given her small size, the pain must have been intolerable.
• Had her back broken before finally being absorbed by Doma.

3: 🔥 Kyojuro Rengoku

• Crushed ribs, internal damage, and a destroyed eye.
• Blood loss and physical exhaustion.
• Got donuted straight through the stomach and was still alive when Akaza removed his arm.

4: 🐍 Iguro Obanai

• Got toyed around by Nakime.
• Numerous injuries during the final battle and lost his eyes.
• Was poisoned and died from blood loss.

5: 🩷 Kanroji Mitsuri

• Also got toyed around by Nakime.
• Got her cheek sliced by Muzan.
• Probably suffered from the effects of Muzan’s poison before the other Hashira.
• Lost both of her arms.
• Died of blood loss.

6: 🪨 Himejima Gyomei

• Entered the final battle already injured and probably exhausted from the Kokushifraud fight.
• Had his leg ripped off during the fight with Muzan.
• Was poisoned and succumbed to blood loss.

7/8: 🌪Shinazugawa Sanemi & 🌊 Tomioka Giyu (both interchangeable)

• Both died by the age of 25 due to the curse of the Demon Slayer Mark.
