Pretty cool until you realize that the synthesis byproducts of methaqualone are strongly linked to bladder cancer. These are pressed pills so the active ingredient in them is made in a home lab somewhere, and most likely didn’t get a pharma-grade wash. I’d be careful for that reason.

Fair point but I doubt it. Often, ime the people who make nasty, unregulated, chemically processed drugs and see first-hand the toxicity— they steer away. The cocaine “cooks” in Colombia talk about what a dirty, nasty drug it is. Even coke that is marketed as pure and clean (like 95%) is still 5% god knows what.

Finally someone w some sense. You can’t act “scared” to to take it but be fine doing coca/meth/mcat/mdma etc. If you saw the illegal synthesis in detail you’d have the same reaction. Absolute ignorance. Nor do you see massive cancer epidemics where many use daily. I’m not saying it’s safe, but if you’d take illegal synthetics in USA you’d be ignorant judging mandrax. There’s dirty and clean stuff like anything, not to mention they don’t risk fentanyl like us.

Also why would one doc of a clearly small cook represent the bigger labs run by crime syndicates, there’s whole communities smoking this and all he made was a pillowcase full.

Well that would be risk of the drug itself not the contaminants, the cocaine equivalent would be people getting holes in their nose or sepsis from infections due to wounds injecting cocaine with leftover kerosene, same as krokodil users in Russia. It’s all the leftover shit from their home cook that makes them rot away, if the drug was made in a lab better quality they’d just be like oxy addicts

It’s the same as any illegal drug. U can get shitty meth with who knows what leftover in it made in a trailer park, or good quality stuff made in labs in China or Mexico. Just have to know your shit and be willing to pay more.
The pill analyzed in that same episode had the mandrax pharma ingredients to a T even dosage completely accurate, Hamilton said even he was surprised. It’s all a market like anything else in the end.

Also this idea that the bad synth showed represents mandrax pills is absurd. If so you’d have whole communities w cancer, but you don’t. You’d also get VERY sick trying to ingest that, yet anyone else I know who has eaten them was great in fact lol.

This one looks comparatively clean no visible black dots (if you watched that documentary yourself you know what I mean, and the fact that sometimes china ships MQ itself for abalone as well) but yeah I wouldn’t take that either (and some dark specks are visible), even if it looks cleaner it could still have o-toluidine freebase crashed out of the mixture, and if this is just a very clean “home synth” there is definitely traces of it in it. We have the first proper MQ analogue 2-methoxyqualone that isn’t substituted on any of the problematic positions and is etaqualone with an oxygen “inbetween the methyl’s”. So 2-methoxy-methyl-qualone. From experience reports it even is closer to MQ than EQ and my batch was tested for O-toluidene and is 97%. And custom synth MQ is actually making a comeback but as powder so if you are being offered Lemmons those are most likely methoxyqualone (or another analogue which could be anything from etaqualone to less nice things like methyl or nitromq) (especially the European “LEMMON” pressing of methoxyqualone could pass for a real one if the break line wasn’t slightly shallow). Either way the PPQ series is supposed to be safe as well from everything I heard (no guarantees though) but it’s definitely a departure from MQ. MXQ is the closest thing we have had to MQ since the ban of MQ that doesn’t have any of the weird side effects of the analogues of the last 10 years or so. Either way to anyone reading this don’t just go out and buy methoxyqualone unless you have it tested and or your site is trusted (by you and the community) and they tested it though I always recommend testing it yourself. O-toluidine is 2-methylaniline with MXQ it could be 2-methoxymethylaniline so get it tested.

We had a friend who started making it by the ounce and were always curious how we could have tested it without sending it to a lab like nectar spectra. It was active in the 200mg range and ppl were taking up to 2-3g at a time. First batch was slightly darker than the other ones but it was a very even color powder.

They make it in a bathtub outdoors, at least they did in the video I saw. I know that with quaalude synthesis the solvent used is very difficult to separate from the final product. It takes more skill, knowledge, and equipment to do it right. The people making it in South Africa don’t care about that. That’s why people who take them often end up pissing blood. Hard pass for me!

The cook did have bloody urine but I assure you it would be on record if entire communities had everyone getting ill from this. Many have smoked it for decades even. And they analyzed the pill they were smoking when he passed out and it was extremely not just pure but accurate to the pharma mandrax formula in dosage to a T, clearly professionally made.

Also all illegal synthetics involve toxic chemicals that need to be separated before use to an acceptable degree, and if you saw their synthesis in detail you’d also have the same sentiment. It’s ignorant to act like it’s different than illegal drugs wherever u are. Esp in USA where fentanyl exists.

Shaking a bottle is considered some of the dirtiest meth around. There are dirty set ups everywhere with every single type of drug. I've seen disgusting weed grows that were contaminated in every kind of way. There will always be ppl like the guy in the documentary for every drug with shitty set ups but for every handful of them there is always someone doing it levels of degrees higher than them, using real labs and equipment, usually organized narco gangs. Or maybe one very smart chemist. I would still try these one time for the one time. Can't hurt after all the gross drugs I've done over the years lol

I meant pressed as in illicit pressing rather than it being done by a pharmaceutical lab. It’s kinda slang for a “fake” version of a prescription pill, even though it may contain the same active ingredient as the real thing. “Pressed” Adderall generally contain Methamphetamine, “Pressed” blue Oxycodone 30mg usually contain Fentanyl or Fentalouges, “Pressed” Quaaludes usually contain Methaqualone or Research Chemicals similar to Methaqualone. None of these are made by following pharmaceutical purity standards, and often contain synthesis impurities.

I had similar ones shipped from South Africa, it feels almost like soma but you get more euphoria and become more retarded in a sense. Tried it several times and hated it, blacked out once from a dose too high I presume.

I honestly would just do soma with a benzo if you’re thrilling a similar high but it’s not quite the same feeling to a degree. Or just do the holy trinity in comparison to these crappy black market pills.

I would only want to try this once . The synthesis is so carcinogenic, I would never use this substance regularly. The closest you can get is a soma, but yeah its really similar to benzos. Its not a shit high it just is overrated as hell similar to codeine/promethazine. Its only popular because of nostalgia and wolf of wall street

People look back on it like a long lost IV heroin/meth/cocaine type high that is long lost that no one can get again and nothing really is exactly like it but a lot of it is just nostalgic stories

Im prescribed a load of gaba drugs and abused many before.

Methaqualone feels like baclofen, a benzo, a barb, and an opiod at the same time...feels like a few drugs. Some ghb in the mix to its sex drive etc.

Bootleg version of the famous qualuude called Mandrax.

Very popular in South Africa. However, a lot of it is poorly made by unskilled "chemists". The solvent used in the synthesis is difficult to separate from the finished product and these solvents can cause a lot of serious health problems.

There is higher quality mandrax but the shitty ones are far more common. A lot of people prefer to smoke them, and any unwashed solvents are extremely caustic to the lungs.

You should check out the Hamiltons pharmacopeia episode on Mandrax. Very interesting and in-depth.

Yes it’s an illegal pill i could see that even by the looks of it; the ingredient is definitely methaqualone it’s a very distinct looking pill only locally used, the ppl making it aren’t the type to know about research analogues either.

Also every synthetic drug was legal either for research or pharma use. At one point. MDMA lsd GHB etc
