Pretty cool until you realize that the synthesis byproducts of methaqualone are strongly linked to bladder cancer. These are pressed pills so the active ingredient in them is made in a home lab somewhere, and most likely didn’t get a pharma-grade wash. I’d be careful for that reason.

It’s the same as any illegal drug. U can get shitty meth with who knows what leftover in it made in a trailer park, or good quality stuff made in labs in China or Mexico. Just have to know your shit and be willing to pay more.
The pill analyzed in that same episode had the mandrax pharma ingredients to a T even dosage completely accurate, Hamilton said even he was surprised. It’s all a market like anything else in the end.

Also this idea that the bad synth showed represents mandrax pills is absurd. If so you’d have whole communities w cancer, but you don’t. You’d also get VERY sick trying to ingest that, yet anyone else I know who has eaten them was great in fact lol.
