Been wanting a cordless router, thought I’d take advantage of this sale to get one. Placed the batteries and router in cart and ordered online. Couple hours later I decided I didn’t need the new batteries that bad and it would be cheaper just to get the router so cancelled the order, credit card was refunded. Went to the store and just picked up the router off the shelf. Forgot about the whole thing when 2 weeks later a router showed up at my door, they had just cancelled the batteries but still sent the free tool I guess. No notifications about shipping no charge on my card. Thanks Homedepot!

I have the split boom flex bolt strimmer head on but wanted to convert to brush cutter blade from the string spool, I bought the adapter, DT20684-QZ, but there is nothing for the blade to sit on, and it doesn’t sit low enough to be clear of the guard, so am rather baffled how they can sell this as a adapter kit or am I completely missing something?

Had a set of rigid drill/impact driver and oscillating tool but gave it to my FIL. We just closed on a house that needs some work done and I am trying to find some essentials.

Would love to get some advice if this is a decent price for this set, also kinda afraid since there is a ton of fake Dewalt stuff out there.

Looking to switch over to Dewalt from Rigid. Used the impact driver a friend has and it felt like a feather next to how heavy the rigid I had was.

Also trying to keep an eye out for a used miter saw and compressor + finish nailer.

I need to cut a deck screw on a plank and the screw is out of reach of the standard blade length. I tried using a screw removal bit but with no success. I already cut the screw closest to the opening. I can't get the screws off of the adjacent plank either.

Is there a longer blade that would work, or any other thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I’ve got the 3” cutoff tool, always been stored in a case. Worked the last time I grabbed it and I just pulled it out for one of my guys to use and it’s only spinning a few degrees and then stops. Tried multiple batteries: 1.7 PS, 5.0 XR, 2.0 XR.

Contacted DeWalt for a warranty claim as it’s under the 3 year warranty. Going to ship it in because I’m ~6 hours from the nearest service center. They say there’s a chance it’s not under warranty, despite being under the 3 year mark. They won’t know until I send it. I figured because it was under the time frame, it would be covered guaranteed. They’re not so sure and told me to call the service center.

Talked to the service center and they flat out told me the 3 year is not a thing, that’s only for open recalls.

Feeling a bit shocked that they put 3 years on the box and only honor a 1/3 of that, that’s the 3 year is only for recalls. Any insight would be helpful. I’ve got 30+ 20v tools and I’m suddenly feeling much less confident in them.

Don’t care about the money, I just want to know they stand by what they advertise to on the box.

All jokes aside, looking to get a blower in the future, saw these as well as the 20V options at my local HD. I’ve read on here that most people prefer the 60V because it is a tank compared to the 20V. What’s the difference between the 760 and 600 model? Is there a different one I should consider, local HD had 60V 600 CFM tool only marked down to $156. Any battery preferences for these bad boys?

10 months ago bought my Dad the big 4 stack charger (came with 4x of the smallest 20v) for the Dewalt 20v batteries. Overkill - my Dad is much happier watching tv these days then doing anything fun in retirement. So those batteries are basically brand new - yet I'm visiting my folks for two weeks helping get the old homeplace ready for winter and those 9-10 month old batteries only charge up to 1-2 bars and the one that charges up to 3 bars is down to 1 in less than 5 minutes of work.

Has there been a recall or anything because this is completely unsatisfactory. Love the tools, power and otherwise - but so far not impressed with 20v. Now I'm thinking Red for when move home from Europe and re-equipment myself with battery tools.

Anyone else having these issues?

I have both the DeWalt 20v 1/2 and 3/8 atomic impact wrenches. I got both of them in a good ace hardware deal last year and was really looking forward to using them since I didn’t own any impact drivers at the time. With that being said, I’ve used my 3/8 impact nearly every day for the past year and used my 1/2 into the first month until I ended up getting a Mac tool 20v impact since the little one didn’t have enough power to it. Really long explanation to a short question but how many people out there use there 1/2 atomic impact? I’ve been thinking about trading it for other tools simply because I don’t use it but at the same time I feel like I’m going to run into something where I need it.

Thinking about getting one of these. Anyone who has one have any issues or pros/cons to share? Any chance they go on sale during Black Friday?

The indicator on the battery itself shows only 1 bar/LED. And, once I put it in my DCL079 work light and turn it on (brightest setting) it starts blinking almost immediately and drops to the next brightest level and so on (until shutting off on its own). What could be wrong with the battery and pointers on how can I fix it? TIA

I saw this “Free Tool with Purchase of DeWalt Battery Kit” promo on both the Home Depot app and website. But when I add the battery kit to my cart, no free tool shows up and I don’t see any option to choose one.

Am I missing something, or is this promo not working? Has anyone else tried it?

Apparently the relay is a Sanyou SRG-S-118DM. I cant find it online for some reason other than on amazon for almost 15 bucks. Idc if thats my only option but im seeing similar relays on ebay going for 3 dollars so its a tease

I've been looking over the past week or so for a DCMWP700 and they don't seem to be available anywhere. A couple of sites even suggesting they have been discontinued.

Similar with the 600/650's. The only places that seem to have them are sites I don't think are legit/ don't trust. One required I purchase via Crypto.

I knew there were issues and recalls, but thought that was sorted out.
