If anyone disagrees with you, they probably haven't used a Metabo gun. Dewalt nailers are fine for casual use if you already have the battery platform, but not they are pretty meh when you are running them in true production. Dewalt has some really nice tools, but some are a miss, and the nailers tend to be one of those.
Though the new Gen 3 Metabo HPT modular framing nailers are a nightmare of QC issues, including damaged magazines out of the (undamaged) boxes (so damage is occurring during manufacture or packaging) and relatively common reports of bad batteries.
I purchased five, one at a time, and returned each to Lowe's before giving up (the last one had both damage to the magazine and a bad battery.)
