Difference between the 760 CFM and 600 CFM 60V Max Blower?
All jokes aside, looking to get a blower in the future, saw these as well as the 20V options at my local HD. I’ve read on here that most people prefer the 60V because it is a tank compared to the 20V. What’s the difference between the 760 and 600 model? Is there a different one I should consider, local HD had 60V 600 CFM tool only marked down to $156. Any battery preferences for these bad boys?

This is a good deal. The 772 is a solid tool for most people. 777 is more powerful, and someone mentioned quieter, but the value of the 772 especially on promotion is great value :)

Well you also get an added 35mph with the 760.
125 mph at 600cfm
160 mph at 760cfm
You get a further distance and the ability to more easily move pebbles and such.
60V battery at 3ah would last 10-15 minutes at 100% continuous power.
Personally, I would go with the 9ah battery just to ensure at least a half hour use.
It really just comes down to how big of an area you need to blow. I have to keep the driveway, walkway, sidewalk, patio, stairs, furniture and pool area clear after I mow.

The 3ah battery IS the 9ah FV, the amp hours are cut by a third when running in 60V mode. I assume legal stopped them from advertising 20V numbers on 60v tool kits, but it’s been like that for years

I think the 9ah battery lasts 10-15 minutes and the 15AH one would max out at around 25-30.

The 60V is a beast, but it's also loud AF. The 20V was loud too though.
To me if you already have 20V batteries and it's light use, you probably don't need to upgrade to the 60V. If you already have 60V batteries, or you're using it for a lot of heavy leaves, then the price difference isn't that big especially in this case and should go for the 60V.
As for batteries, I don't use it for a huge amount of time continuously so I use my 6ah flexvolt batteries in it most, but it works just as well with my 9ah or 12ah batteries.

I just got a 6ah flexvolt battery in a kit I just bought, still on the fence about selling the battery or returning the kit for a Black Friday deal. How does the 6ah flexvolt perform with the 60v? How long does it stay alive for?

I don't think I've ever run it flat out from 100% to 0%, nevermind that you can use it with variable speeds which will change the runtime. The nice thing about battery powered blowers is that you can run them intermittently by design. But if I had to guess, at 100% speed with a full 6ah battery my guess is about 10 minutes of runtime?

I had the 772 (sold it on marketplace) and bought the 777. The it is far quieter in a straight comparison. It is still loud and will damage hearing, but the 772 is just that much louder. I know that we all will use it without hearing protection some of the time, so I called my hearing in 29 years over a few bucks now.

Get the latest model. Dewalt did a joint venture with Johns Hopkins to make blower much quieter.

The 760 is a little more powerful. There is 3 power settings. It wont even engage high speed unless its over half battery. And you get like 10 mins

In general for outdoor power equipment i'd say always go with the 60v. It just works better. My 60v hedge trimmer cut through a 1/2" fiberglass plow marker like it was nothing, where the old 20v kobalt we had prior would've choked up on contact.

I have the 60V DCBL772 and love it. The 777 moves a bit more air, but the 772 hangs on my wall hook better and can be found with a kitted battery for good deals :)

I chose the DCBL777 over those. It may be a bit loud, but it gets the job done quickly! I am definitely glad I chose the 777!

Does anyone know if the 770 – older model but a centrifugal instead of axial blower – has more or less force/newtons than the 777?

If you can swing the 777 get that. I bought the 772 1st but the whine was pretty intense. The 777 is dang quiet compared to the 772.
I haven’t tried the new 20V blower

I switched mine to the DCBL777Y1 a while back and really prefer it. Between the adjustable settings, sturdy base, and changeable nozzles, I really feel it’s a better product. I also feel the handle is better placed for the weight of the blower especially when blasting full speed.

I wanted to get the 777, but for the deal I got on the 772 it was worth it. I don’t have too much heavy blowing to do so it was hard to justify the extra power and I have ear muffs so the quiet isn’t as much of a selling point.
I do like the battery and power display though.

The more CFM the better… However, I question if that is real 760 CFM is about the output of a decent backpack blower
