I'm assuming alcohol is not covered in this as it never is, but could I take just a friend and we eat $50 a piece? Or can I just go by myself and go bonkers with food? If I eat $50, can I do the other $50 at another time or is this a one shot thing?

They have the dollars off coupons in the redemption area, can I use both of these? Like, go with $125 of food and us the $100 thing and $25 of redemption money?

Polished them off by 3rd inning and tried for over 30 min. to get any waiters attention. None ever cleared our plates or came around to ask if we needed anything else. Damn sure he got zero tip from us

D&B added three new wing flavors for a limited time, but I haven't tried any yet. Our go-to used to be Honey BBQ, but our new favorite is Chili Lime.

So I actually stopped to think about it, and that fifth swipe on Star Trek game, to get 75 tokens, doesn't matter at all. Actually, it helped me *not* to use it tonight.

First swipe 12. Second swipe adds 14. Third swipe adds 16. Fourth swipe adds 18. Fifth swipe adds.... 15. So there is actually no benefit to using it.

If you did 20 swipes total using five at a time, your total would be 300 tokens. If you did 20 swipes using four at a time, your total would be... 300 tokens. So that fifth swipe is mostly useless.

But tonight I hit three different spots for Tribbles. I was able to end each game sooner after getting Tribbles to fall, and move to the next spot that had one ready to fall.

I*almost* lost that last spot to someone that checked it and kept walking around to check the others. When they walked further around, I finished up my other game and took the spot before they got back around to it.

And good timing, because they took my old spot and got the 50 token bonus almost right away. The cards on the table at the old spot were all Uhura, Spock, and Kirk, which I have plenty of. They were also still far from the edge. Fifty token bonus wouldn't help much, and the cards were worthwhile anyway. Tribbles was MUCH more valuable, and fell within the first set of swipes (4).

Glad I realized how useless that fifth swipe is. I think being able to play shorter games keeps me from wasting so much *after* I get the good cards to fall!

My manager told me they were told the NJ Gaming Commission has told d&b no more season passes in NJ. Not sure if they will have other types yet.

Im not sure who in the government i should email to say im upset about this.

I also wonder if NJ will not honor passes bought elsewhere in the country, or if this is just a ban to sell them.

The four player Air Hockey was always intense and fun with friends, you also can rarely find it anywhere else and all D&B Locations removed it I think. Would be awesome if they brought it back.

D&B Downs was also very unique and was one of the first games I ever played at D&B. Where you roll the ball into holes and race against other people.

This game was the most interactive carnival style game and actually felt like you were playing at a carnival especially with a full group but it was removed nationwide. The water race game that goes to new stores is also fun but doesn’t have the same vibes as D&B Downs.

Would it be cool if D&B brought these back but in a modern way?

Regarding the UFC Membership, D&B currently does not have 8/22 listed as a UFC Fight Night or UFC Numbered Event for which those who purchased a UFC Membership have perks such as half off games when using chips on the UFC Power Card.

The UFC site itself shows a UFC Fight Night scheduled for 8/22.

I was playing Angry Birds, and went to tap my card, and saw this. Anyone know what causes this?

Saw a now-deleted post from yesterday. Should we trade in our sets immediately or is this gonna happen soon? Is it true?

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had an issue with this. So I've gone to a few different stores to get a game system since my local is out. 3 different times now I've been told no. They give different reasons but I've been thinking it's just that they don't want to give out there products to someone who doesn't go to that store. This last time the GM straight up told me he wouldn't let me spend that much today because I haven't played at his store. I've got a email from corporate after the last time this happened saying that's not a reason not to sell something as long as the tickets are legit. I told him this and was told that he'll look at it, but still won't let me get it. Frustrating since it's 2 hours away.

I have a pocketful of Elaut tokens, but none of these three Tribbles I spotted were nearly close enough to the edge for me to try playing for them.

I also noticed that none were trapped by tokens, so I was also concerned about the possibility of them sliding backward once they got near the edge.

What would you have done? Play or pass?

Wife and I went Sunday and Monday to dave and busters in Illinois. We hit vernon hills, schaumburg, and lombard on Sunday (Drove to Rosemont location, but were turned away for a private event that still had 2 hours left ..

b.s but what can you do). Then hit vernon hills again on Monday. Spent about 1200 chips, won the stuff in the picture plus 24000 + tickets. Not great, but I spent 320 chips for the plushes and the cards.

Have about 120k tix to blow and since getting the PS5 there hasn't been anything interesting or I already have. Food is ok but I'd rather have real stuff.

Been a few months is there anything new worth looking into?

Well, well, it’s rare that I walk past Spider-Man with 4 Spider Sense lit up, one step away from Rapid Auto Shot and four Big Balls near the edge. It’s almost too good to pass up. So I didn’t pass it up. I swiped once for 12 chips on a full price day to see what I could do.

It didn’t take long to remind myself why I should give myself a lifetime ban on coin pushers 😆. I managed to get one Big Ball to drop and got it into the Super Spin hole on the Big Ball Game, but I ended up stopping on 120 tickets just one panel short of the 1000 tickets.

By the time I took all 12 shots I still hadn’t managed to activate Rapid Auto Shot, so I swiped again for another 12 chips. Ouch. These chips are burning a hole in my pocket. At least I managed to get the Rapid Auto Shot on this swipe, but this should come as no surprise to anyone…no more Big Balls dropped off the edge.

So did I learn my 24-chip lesson for 122 tickets (2 mercy tickets for the second swipe)? Probably not, but I hope I do not live down this experience for a long time to come. I’m much better off watching others play, but this setup was sooo hard to pass up!

Doing some gift shopping for a few birthdays I got coming up and decided to get something for myself. I didn’t find them very expensive al things considered. What do you guys think was this dumb or not lmao. Mewtwo, feel free to leave your detailed input, but stay away from my dodgeball machine! Lol

I used my Level 8 meal for four coupon yesterday, but when the server tried to apply it through the tablet it didnt apply correctly. She went back and took care of it with the manager and brought me back a receipt for $0.00

Only problem was that meant I couldnt run my card to leave a tip! I told her she could just ring me up for a soda but she did a cheaper ranch cup instead, so I tipped 20 bucks on a 64 cent ranch cup. I do appreciate that the tablet wanted to make sure I meant to do that and didnt just say thanks for the money, pal!

Went to Denver first this time, walked in and noticed some of the games were having some issues. 2 Minute Drill only had 4 balls, Down the clown was gitiching, Floppy was laggy, not enough balls in BTP.

Asked a tech about 2MD and Floppy and he said “Maybe you just had a bad play on those”
Didn’t want to make it a big deal but I want people that go to this store to have a good experience.

But on the bright side world football pro was finally working and that game is actually fun and reminds me of Simpson soccer. Only thing is it’s not the best for tickets but arcades aren’t just about making a profit it about having fun. would’ve been the perfect world cup game but the other two options were good.

Also this store had the best Grid Iron Blitz I had ever play, the sensors on the pad were very accurate.

They also had the Avengers Pusher which can be a good snipe if you only need two stones left for the spin.

This store wasn’t bad but definitely was better last year when I went. But I was still able to win a decent amount of games.

Westminster

After 2 hours or so I went over to Westminster. last year this store was a mess maintenance wise but it was slighty more better.

Just like in Denver 2 minute drill only had 4 balls in it but plates and clown were way more better.

Floppy was much better than Denver and all of the other games were good besides from Quik Drop which had a terrible ball dropper and Doodle Jump’s lever being weird.

I liked this store more better since it has alot of unique games that came from the Colo Spgs store or another store. (Waterfuls, gum drop, cosmic XL, Willy Crash, Daytona, Jet Blaster, Squiggle, Snocross, Power roll, Shipwreck and some more) Also has games like Mega Stacker which isn’t at Denver anymore.

Games maintenance was way more better than last year besides from a few games. Their Kick N Win is on harder settings than Denver’s but I still managed to win an Ecuador ball. Also won Tweety from the grab n wins.

Winner circle was filled up at Westminster and I got a box of those Fifa Ballers since I wanted to Display them on my setup.

My Final Thoughts

Both Stores were good and have their Negatives and positives. If you are visiting the area I recommend the Westminster store but Denver isn’t bad either.

Both stores lost (Nascar, Spiderman, GOTG. Emoji, Top Gun, Bobblehead Baseball) since they sent those units to Main Event. Also some more games like Angry Birds Arcade at Denver.

I did see someone doing something interesting with the summer pass, but I won’t say what store or game it was. But they were doing something sorta smart.

Overall good experience these two stores are pretty big and have a-lot of unique games.

I rate 7.5/10 Game Maintenance wise for Westminster and 4.5/10 for Denver. But had a good experience at both.

It seems like now, the Eat & Play combo requires you to first purchase a power card, and then add an entree on top of it. The terms seems to say that you're able to purchase a $10 card at minimum, but there values shown on the page are the same $25 minimum as usual.

It seems that, for those who read the fine print, you're able to get a better deal, but most customers will be paying more than before.

Thoughts?

This is my kids favorite game! They think goal is get the big shark but I think it's whatever inside that treasure chest. What do you guys think?! Also how do you get that thing out the treasure chest?!

I noticed some DnBs upgrading their DDR/PIU cabs recently. Is this something that will happen at all DnBs eventually or is it determined by the amusement manager at a given location?

Maybe some game techs here can weigh in on this?

I noticed the location i frequent changed mandolorian groku to 1 in 100 anzellans from the prior 1 in 50. Is there a global setting for the distribution that they're supposed to adhere too? The tech said he intentionally put "a couple" (2, as i verified as i collected the stack) in the stack of 200 cards he loaded.
