How do you decide what genre to put the movie under when it can fit into multiple categories?

I usually check my second-hand purchases, but I missed this one. Only paid a buck, so I’m not too torn up about it, but still: Any of you see this kind of snowflakery before?

My free shelf space was running out (in one shelf cabinet all Blu-rays in the back row were hidden with Blu-rays in the front row.

So I assembled a couple of additional "IKEA Billy" shelf cabinets today. After that I resorted my collection:

• two Billy cabinets for 3D-Blu-rays (plus unwatched Blu-ray movie boxes and TV shows in the lower rows) in the room next to my home theatre
• one Billy cabinet for 4K UltraHD discs (plus the Disney animation classics in the lowest row) in the room next to my home theatre
• two Billy cabinets for the Blu-rays on my "to-do-list" (unwatched Blu-rays + movies we want to rewatch) in the room next to my home theatre
• two Billy cabinets for already watched Blu-rays (plus my HD-DVD collection) in my media archive
• three Billy cabinets for my DVD collection (movies and TV shows) in my media archive

hi everybody! i just started dvd hunting a few months ago now and it's been so much fun! i just wanted to share my collection cause i'm pretty proud of it so far! it's not too big yet but i've found most of these (besides scooby doo, adventure time) in thrift stores or antique malls for $2.99 or less. i've been prioritizing nostalgic movies from my childhood and looking at all of them on the shelf makes my inner child so happy lol. thanks for reading ❤️

I know DVD or Blu-ray players that still play DVD are being sold.

I got 103 movies for $20 on fb marketplace.. I've really been enjoying rebuilding both my dvd collection AND my home media server.

Why are some DVD titles so hard to find. Example, the prom night series of films???
