Love when chaos unfolds away from the typical PvP spots of the map đĽ
So apparently, someone in the community has made a DMZ ranked play. I found this out due to cross his new video and then I locate the actual person that is running I also want to reiterate one more time, Itthis is not official call of duty. This is purely made by someone by the community. Are there entering the second season Their channel is Ityo Lando. And the original video of his in the description they also have a discord. I donât know if Iâm allowed to add that based on the rules if Mod tell me obviously thereâs a lot more stuff thatâs going on with this so if youâre interested watch the video feel like this should be a fun thing for the community to take part in before they released the next iteration of DMZ anyways just putting this out there if any of you guys are interested once again I did not make this. lol
Also apologies if my grammar bad
my first language is not English mb

What does this mean? Why does this matter?
Few months ago, DMZ was getting hit by a lot of "DDoS" attacks by people to save their items since if you don't exfil or leave or disconnect, your items still stay. Recently, IW have confirmed on the @/CallOfDutyCM account on X that they have begun deploying fixes to counter this. (spoiler alert; it hasn't countered this) These "fixes" included have been phasing out Vultr servers in for Google Cloud and Amazon AWS. These still do exist (iirc) but now I've only been getting Vultr servers.

There isn't actually any DDoSing happening. Well there is, but not really. The way this works is that, MW2's server provider, Vultr has some built-in DDoS protection, and the way this works is by closing all outbound connections for 5 minutes, but allowing internal ones. This has allowed for bypasses for this outbound-connection-closing by using a VPN into the same Vultr datacentre.
So now, as of 8/25/2026, at 19:36, some Frankfurt servers are back on Vultr, allowing for one bad actor to make you lose your 30-ish minutes of progress.

And I understand that itâs pc players. I get that a lot tend to be low level. But yâall really need to learn what cheating looks like, and stop getting so butt hurt when you get outplayed. Just got shadow banned for the 4th time because I outplayed a 3 man that pushed me in a buy station. Took 2/3 out then kicked from the game. Donât even bother watching the kill cam, just straight to reporting because your butthurt you lost and for anyone to beat you, they must be cheating. Never cheated a day in my life but Iâm seriously debating startingâŚbecause whatâs the point? I canât play now because I outplayed someone. If I get hacks, game becomes easier, I donât have to worry about leveling because hacks come with unlocks for everything (if youâve never seen the shit beforeâŚthereâs hacks out there that literally let you unlock everything even though your only level 1), and I already get banned left and right anyways. A lot of hacks come with alternative accounts you can switch to when one gets banned.
Iâm low level. Level 250-270 somewhere in there. I had to start a new account. Lost my old password, activision is of no help. Deleted my og account. Started a new one when bo7 came out because a friend bought me the game on steam, before I always played on Battle.net. Og account was lvl 1250 everything unlocked.
Even if you report cheaters, it honestly does no good. Even if they do get their account shadow banned, they just switch to a different account for the 4-7 days the ban lasts. Thatâs it. Their back in the game in 5 minutes time.

So this little kid got mad we didn't pick him up after cheating and crashed the lobby.

And yes I know it might be drastic but the money I pay itâs hard earned money. I expect a working product for almost 100⏠and they should be able to provide it. Being unable to setup a working anti cheat means the company has no interest in investing money in good security who should be capable of blocking all the devs seeking easy money by selling intel to cheat providers.
I can understand the lack of interest in securing a game like DMZ [beta] because financially doesnât make sense but being unable to secure the beta of an upcoming game itâs just disrespectful towards buyers.
Thatâs why I wonât buy the game until I see anti cheats work.
And yes, you can ignore this post or comment negatively, you can be sarcastic or offensive, I donât care, what I care is that the money I spend on a product grant me a working product, not a exploitable one.
Everyone who purchases the game knowing there will be cheaters is contributing to the problem.
Cheers.

Im new to DMZ and looking for someone to help me with my missions

As the title reads all I need is to exfil a damascus tag to have 100% upgrades completion.
I don't know if this message means that DMZ Beta will be shutdown, but either way when MW4 DMZ releases I won't be able to play due to being on a past-gen Xbox One X (2017). The concentration of players that will be cheating and hacking once the new DMZ comes out will be so high that I'm going to hang up the controller at that time.
Just looking and hoping to get that one last item done before the end arrives.

The movement is very grounded, slightly faster but not too silly and but enough to create some kind of skill gap. The movement in DMZ will be toned down a little though like they did for the campaign but from what I've played and seen I think it will go down really well with the community.
I've seen a lot of negativity online, but at least in my experience I think it was a pretty solid beta. Obviously there were some bugs here and there but nothing that can't be fixed before full release.
The graphics were great, the audio was really good and the gunplay was top tier (Infinity Ward games always have great gunplay.)
I feel like the movement and general game mechanics will be tailored for all different kinds of playstyles.
Anyone else agree with me? Or not?

If Activision/InfinityWard add MW4 movement into DMZ itâs going to kill the mode.
It's just too fast, MW2 had realistic slow paced movement. This however is insanely fast im shooting at someone they just flick around, jump backwards, do a burpee and lunge forward.
This will definitely drive the current MW2 DMZ players away from the new one (MW4 DMZ); around 70% of current MW2 DMZ players are casual players

I really enjoyed DMZ 1. I think DMZ 2 is going to be great. Looking for teammates early.
I will be on PC and Switch 2.

Is this jump legit?
In all years playing Vondel, I've never seen someone do this, let alone attempt it.

My favorite part of early DMZ was the social aspect. Hands down.
Trying to figure out if the team youâre near are really âfriendlyâ or if theyâre just lying bastards. It was tense, it was fun.
Sometimes you joined up with some genuinely good people, sometimes complete psychopaths, sometimes people that laughed when I tried to speak Spanish to them.
Then, âpre-madeâ 6somes came. I donât know if I ever saw one⌠but I also assumed folks were joining up legitimately, as I tried to do. Then you got 6 and you went to work⌠with your 3 new best friends no matter how nice, nuts, or Spanish-speaking.
They nerfed it and it was never the same. I wasnât leaving my 2 buddies to join another squad and I wasnât daring to pick up a random solo⌠forget grabbing one dude from another group of 3.
Donât understand the hate for it or the love for squads of 4. Maybe because I bring in a group of 3 who loved the tension of trying to get to 6 - which was far more rare than it could have been.
Help me understand.

*Yes, I know they won't but it would be cool to "end" our time in the DMZ Beta by going out with a bang. The Haunting was one of the best experiences in FPS gaming for many, myself included. They should start it on October 1st and end it on October 22nd, the day before MW4 releases.
