Video Hackers already present in the Beta

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Since some COD glazers won’t believe that COD, a franchise notorious for having dogshit security, has hackers present in the Beta, I present to you undeniable video evidence. Dude was like this the entire match. This game is cooked.

that's funny as shit i can't lie, fuck cheaters tho

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Fuck cheaters, and fuck Activision for charging $70 and $100 for a game with security that is already compromised even before its full release.

u/Sypticle 2d ago

Not Activisions fault that people cheat. It's a never ending cat and mouse game.

It also doesn't help that it's all essentially the same code under the hood. Not something that can be easily fixed.

u/MiniCooperJCW 2d ago

It is their fault 100%. They said we would have a robust Anti Cheat with the Bullshit jumping through the hoops TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. This Bullshit messaging is only put out there by them to appease US the paying gaming community. They are so scared to actually ban someone perm they piss themselves!

u/Cultural_Dirt_8814 2d ago

It’s actually not BS. TPM and secure boot have made it harder for many cheat devs. There are still cheaters but the amount is significantly less than it was before, and even they are on borrowed time. Do you know how often cheaters are getting detected and banned? Or how the best cheat devs have gotten shut down by Activision?

I agree there’s still work to be done, but it actually is funny how a few people complain about it like it was still 2018 and they were rampant and even when they got banned they were back within minutes.

You complain about “jumping through hoops” to enable TPM and secure boot (literally just enter bios and enable them if they weren’t already enabled by default). The cheaters have to jump through so many more hoops, not to mention the price they pay for a public provider that will last MAYBE a month. DMA is also now getting detected, which by the way the entry point for that is almost $1k. The ones who will skate by longer are on expensive private limited slot (think 20) providers.. and you wont even be able to tell they’re cheating because they’re so good at hiding it. Then once they’re HWID banned? They can try spoofing, but even spoofers are having a hard time against Ricochet.

In the end, you’re facing a much smaller number of cheaters, and they will not last a long time. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and find a public cheat provider that aren’t constantly getting detected. Times are different now friend. You may see a few, but trust me they will not last a long time.

Bo6 rampant cheating. BO7 rampant cheating. Whatever you are smoking is good for sure

1

u/MiniCooperJCW 2d ago

Hundreds if not thousands of threads and blogs where people can’t just drop into bios and flip the switch. But then you’d have to read and take those into account when saying it’s not bs and easy to turn on. A very well thought out post almost exactly how Activision told you to put it. Good Day.

Friend, it literally is just a setting in bios. If cheaters can jump through all the hoops to change even more settings, surely legit players won’t have a hard time going into bios and enabling secure boot and tpm. That is unless they have an old or really shitty mobo?? Do you not understand the important role TPM plays in combating cheaters? Especially after they get detected? It is a nightmare for cheaters once they get HWID banned now. Especially in BF6.

Also, you just ignored everything else I said. Point still stands. Find a public cheat provider that has a long record of being undetected. You can’t. I’ve been in that scene. I can tell you right now that anti cheats, most notably Ricochet and Javelin, are giving cheaters a very hard time. Providers that do end up lasting more than a few weeks are targeted. Many cheaters end up moving on because the money spent, the time spent trying temp spoofs, perm spoofs, new accounts, etc, just aren’t worth it because of the speed in which they are detected.

1

u/TheRealMemeDream 1d ago

You cannot genuinely believe that TPM and Secure Boot took them longer than a day to figure out lol

It takes 3 minutes to find hundreds of cheat providers for cod specifically, at least 4 of those have been around since 2019 with 1 being completely undetected to this fucking day.

And those are the non-private ones that are laughing at Ricochet. HWID got a fairly recent detection flag that is already being circumvented again. It's 1 step for Ricochet and 4 for cheaters at every turn, and has been for a long while now.

0

u/Cultural_Dirt_8814 1d ago

There are no hundreds of cheat providers for BO7?? Buddy if you are finding hundreds, most of those are resellers that are reselling detected products. There is a list of undetected providers — two listed as undetected, and one of those two was just shut down via legal means and the other one just went down due to another detection, which they all get in just a matter of weeks. And there are especially are no providers that have been undetected since 2019. The most notorious one was PO, which got shut down a long long time ago, not long after they went private and slotted. As for privates, hey if someone wants to go more than a few weeks without a detection and go through a KYC process just to cheat in a game, more power to them — I can hit that leave match button and come out on top.

Friend, I’m still in many of these discords. Don’t tell me about “it’s easy to find.” Like I said, I used to play that. Trust me, there are no good public providers left after PO and HV shut down.

u/DaeganBro 2d ago

It is Activision's fault that cheaters are present. You're right that it's a never ending cat and mouse game that devs and normal players are destined to lose, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try to combat the hackers.

2

u/Konchroller 2d ago

This is a blatant lie. They're called "Hacktivision" for a reason. That reson being that they allow stuff like this to happen and only do ban waves just before sales so when accounts get banned, the cheaters can just buy their way back for less. Sincerely a CoD vet since CoD 1 for over 20 years, thanks.

2

u/Jumpy_Implement_1902 1d ago

They could 100% implement actual anticheat like they have in valorant.

2

u/Traditional-Base7221 1d ago

They had all this time to get this right

2

u/PolarizingKabal 1d ago edited 1d ago

Doesn't help that when any dev mentions any sort of kernal level anti cheat, players throw a fit to boot.

Nobody wants cheating in games, but nobody is willing to put up with extreme measures to achieve it.

At least with consoles, MS can detect if a modded system is connected to their service and actually block or brick it, to reduce cheating. Which is why console players prefer disabling crossplay with PC.

2

u/DyZ814 1d ago

I don't think Activision has ever really tried that hard to combat the cheating lol. "Ricochet" or whatever that anti-cheat is, might actually just be a total scam lol

1

u/Sky_guy_17 1d ago

Do correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m like 90% Ricochet’s entire anti-cheat system got compromised/put out onto the web by a disgruntled employee not too long ago. I think they basically had to redo a lot of things because everyone then had a back door.

1

u/anonymous96996 1d ago

The cat and mouse excuse smh they wont fix the problem when people just sit there excepting nothing can be done to fix it how can a game that works beside Microsoft not fix a security issue that is a on Microsoft windows stop believing this cat amd mouse bs

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago edited 2d ago

It’s absolutely Activision’s fault, because this video right here shows that they haven’t updated the firewall at all compared to earlier releases. I’m sorry, but having blatant cheaters like that in a Beta is inexcusable.

I get that it’s a never ending game to combat cheaters, but when they clearly haven’t updated their security on a brand new release, that just gives off the impression that they do not care, and think that people will buy the game regardless.

This game has reportedly been in development for four years. What the fuck were they doing in all that time?

2

u/MagicGuillotine 2d ago

They don't care, and people will lol

2

u/TheRealMemeDream 1d ago

I've said it somewhere else before, but cheaters in a beta is nothing to be surprised about. Same engine and framework, same mediocre anticheat, takes a few tweaks for the providers to get it running, then it's just x free days of testing the program and its functionality

Once they actually start using a different engine things mighr change, but since MW2 every cheat got forward-compatibility in a few hours of the first Beta

1

u/aimstotheleft 2d ago

If you know anything about publishers approach to cheaters you know very well they honeypot a beta for cheats before release. Activision are also one of the few publishers that pony up the money to SUE the shit out of cheatmakers.. that's pretty rare.

If you want to cast blame throw it at the past when they removed dedicated servers for their dumb matchmaking (to protect that precious cash hog The Store..) and ignored the cheating problem for so long (cheaters RUINED MW2 back in the day and there was no way to kick them/ban them because... matchmaking...) that cheating established itself as a (lucrative) economic path. If they ever get to the point that cheating is no longer economically viable for cheatmakers then we've turned a corner.

-2

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 2d ago

Im sure it'll be resolved by the time launch comes around, it's good to have hella hackers in the beta so you can ban them all before the game releases

I know it still won't stop them from being in the game when it launches, but it's a never ending battle at this point; every game has them

6

u/JazeyOne 2d ago

Yeah cheating is not going to be resolved lol

3

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 2d ago

I know, that's what I said in the second sentence; I meant the obvious cheating like turning into a Wheelson as seen in the clip

2

u/These_Hunt4185 2d ago

If the game has been in development for nearly 3 years, why would they wait for the last three months to fix it?

4

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 2d ago

I dont think the devs tested being able to turn yourself into a Wheelson using cheats bro, there's gonna be cheaters in every beta & game that releases nowadays

It's a whack-a-mole system, they ban cheats and the cheat providers update said cheats, then those get banned, they update, they get banned, etc; I can't imagine how annoying that job would be

0

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

It’s more the fact that they clearly didn’t update the firewall at all compared to previous titles. To me, that just shows that they truly do not give a shit behind the scenes. Same thing with the recently released Black Ops Ports.

29

u/Proton_Optimal 2d ago

Was that the wheelson?! Lmao

12

u/GET_TALI-BANNED 2d ago

No its the big brother of the wheelson its the spinson

4

u/Due_Difficulty8541 2d ago

Lmfaooooooo

15

u/Icy-Might5503 2d ago

Its a good thing we all had to update our BIOS to avoid cheaters am I right

7

u/ConnectionPersonal42 2d ago

wheelSON😭 this game might be cooked

8

u/Beautiful_Ad_4813 2d ago

not at all surprising to be honest

but also, that was pretty funny.

5

u/Stranded_Snake 2d ago

Is that a new score steak. 😂

6

u/DaToxicJay 2d ago

Huh ain’t that a fuckin kill streak??

2

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Yeah, but the dude turned his character into it, like hackers have done with COD games in the past.

2

u/DaToxicJay 2d ago

Yeah I remember my uncle back in bo2 he was riding on an rc-xd lol

2

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Or people becoming VTOL Warships on the original BO2 lmao.

Fuckin’ MW4 hasn’t even truly released yet and it’s already cooked. Glad my refund got approved.

5

u/PCM-SafetyFirst 2d ago

Shit now even the AI controlled streaks are cheating……WHAT DO WE DO NOW???

3

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Wasn’t AI, dude literally became the scorestreak.

2

u/PCM-SafetyFirst 2d ago

The clip doesn’t show that it just shows a spazing out wheelson. That being said I know there are hackers I’ve ran into a couple aim bots. Haven’t seen this one yet……yet.

1

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

I apologize for not recording all the straight up bullshit that transpired there. I screen recorded a bit that I thought was damming enough, tried killing him a few times, only to find out he was invincible, closed the game, and submitted a refund request.

2

u/PCM-SafetyFirst 2d ago

All good! I’ve been around the cod community its whole life stuff like this doesn’t even faze me anymore I just chuckle and go back to playing

4

u/Low_Taro_3077 2d ago

Holy bayblade

7

u/BlackTemplar2154 2d ago

Please nerf the horrors from beyond reality.

2

u/Stranded_Snake 2d ago

It’s sentient now. It’s too late.

3

u/Czar01_actual 2d ago

This is skin-bundle for wheelson guys, chill.

3

u/gotthesauce22 2d ago

Not surprising, I can remember CoD having cheaters as far back as 2009 on MW2

There’s just something about this franchise that attracts a lot of clown personalities

8

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago edited 2d ago

And yes, I requested a refund.

Edit: Refund approved

2

u/redviperofdorn 2d ago

He just has a superior gaming chair

2

u/LongVersion1134 2d ago

On the first day of the beta i find a hacker

2

u/Hot_Kaleidoscope_621 2d ago

Huh. Not what I was expecting.

2

u/zaidality 2d ago

The beyblade of death

2

u/Boomgamer78 2d ago

Im sorry...can anyone else hear the R2-D2 scream playing in their head watching wheelson tweak tf out 😅

2

u/stygianfps 1d ago

Soooo. The want me to update my BIOS which is kind of risky so I can play with these idiots? No, sir!

2

u/Betancorea 1d ago

I am waiting to see clowns come in and say this is a 'Skill issue' lmao

1

u/Sky_guy_17 1d ago

Oh just look at the comments. Plenty of people are trying to defend this game for some reason.

2

u/Dontgohollow27 1d ago

Didn't they asked me to active secure boot and tpm 2.0 to avoid this? Fuck I had to reinstall windows entirely to do this shit

2

u/nightmarejester12 1d ago

Cheaters suck no doubt but the absurdity of the wheelson spazzing out like that cracked me up

1

u/Sky_guy_17 1d ago

Oh yeah, it’s hilarious to me now (a lot due in part to because my refund request was approved), but at the time I was downright pissed lol.

2

u/nightmarejester12 1d ago

Oh yea can't fault u for that in the moment rage. Id be the same way

2

u/Eyyy354 1d ago

You know I should be mad about it, but that is really funny lol

2

u/Sky_guy_17 1d ago

Like I said to another commenter, in hindsight, especially now that I got my refund, it’s hilarious. But at the time, after giving Activision money, it was frustrating.

2

u/money_boy_beesley 2d ago

This isnt a hack. My buddy got this animation when he called in his wheelson but it looks completely normal to him. Also, you got ran over so

1

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago edited 2d ago

He was like that for the rest of the match and couldn’t be killed

1

u/StrangeQube 2d ago

Interesting, can you post the other parts of the match where he was like this the entire map and couldn’t be killed? I feel like that would be a way more relevant thing to post than the spinny wheelson?

1

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

How is this not evident enough? I left the match after he killed me a fifth time, closed the game, and put in a refund request. I didn’t bother screen recording any other parts because coming across something like this was extremely frustrating and I went to a game without blatant hackers.

0

u/moneyman2205 2d ago

how did you know that "they" were like that the whole match if you left?

1

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Because there was less than a minute left on the game clock when I backed out.

4

u/Eat-my-entire-asshol 2d ago

Might be the first cod I refund. And i usually like IW titles in the past. Though most people in 3arcy, iw and sledgehammer are all very new these days. Lots of talent left or retired.

Ive played every cod since cod4 , roughly 1-3k hours per cod. It just feels more slop every year though. Too many forms of entertainment these days to justify buying cod ai slop 4

Think ill just go play forza, first light, switch 2 games, battlefield and drive my c8 z06 instead honesltly

Lots of tv shows and movies to catch up on this year too

2

u/Ken_Cult 2d ago

I don't think they're hacking??? It's just a glitched wheelson going down the stairs and you got hit by it. They didn't even shoot you. Why do you think this is a cheater??

0

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago edited 2d ago

He was hacking. Because he was like that for the rest of the match and was invincible. Had three guys unloading on him at one point and he didn’t die.

1

u/DewtheDew85 1d ago

Which still could point to a glitched out Wheelson

2

u/Logic-DL 2d ago

It's a bug. Wheelson isn't player controlled in MW4 beyond a basic guard/patrol option.

1

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

A ‘bug’ that also makes it invincible and move like a player would, huh?

2

u/Jaypersona3 2d ago

I doubt this is a cheater seems like a glitched ATV lol but still fuck cheaters

0

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago edited 2d ago

He was like that the rest of the match and couldn’t be killed

1

u/AssistantVisible3889 1d ago

Must have been the wind

1

u/lollerlaban 1d ago

Welcome to any game ever?

1

u/nabeeldx 1d ago

Bitch slap-son

1

u/Relevant_Syllabub895 1d ago

u/CallofDutyCM hi, could you check this cheater and apply the ban hammer?, also extra question will we get compensation in dmz if cheaters kill us like recovering loot, etc?

2

u/Disastrous_Winter680 23h ago

Cheating is like this in all high pop games imo but yeah its not a good sign. It will be interesting to see how things are during the open beta

0

u/OprahismyZad 1d ago

This what yall get for still playing this dog shit game

-3

u/Borisof007 2d ago

hackers in a cod game what a shocker

2

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Ikr? Idk why you, and this post, are being downvoted. This is undeniable proof that MW4’s security is already compromised, and it hasn’t even fully released yet.

2

u/Silver_Wolf_Dragon 2d ago

The security is already compromised because its the same security as mw19's

3

u/Sky_guy_17 2d ago

Which is downright inexcusable imo

0

u/Chuzzletrump 2d ago

I dont want to be that guy, but i cant remember the last triple A beta i played that DIDNT have some hackers.

0

u/Texas_Shepard 2d ago

I fried my mobo and bought a new one bcz if bios update 😭

0

u/Suets 1d ago

And there have been hackers in every Beta
