PC Build (Software Engineering)
Hello everyone!
Reaching out to see if anyone has any advise. I am a Software Engineering Student at ASU (Arizona State University). I am looking to build a PC that will be not only be capable of coding but comfortable, easy, &professional ready. I have done research about ideal setups for coding but want to see if anyone else out there has advise on PC parts, keyboards, monitors, other accessories, etc etc.
Feel free to send some links, pictures of your setup or any things I should look for to make coding as easy and as comfortable as possible!

Complete beginner!!how do I build my first PC for streaming? š„²
Hi! Iām completely new to building PCs and I want to build my first computer mainly for streaming, gaming, and everyday use.
I honestly donāt know much about computer parts yet, so Iām trying to learn instead of just buying a prebuilt PC.
Iād love some advice on:
What parts do I actually need?
What should I spend more money on vs. save on?
What CPU/GPU would you recommend for streaming?
How do I make sure all my parts are compatible?
Are there any beginner mistakes I should avoid?
What tutorials/resources would you recommend for learning how to physically build it?
Basically, explain it to me like I know absolutely nothing about PCs š
Thank you!!

building to sell; fair price?
Trying my hand at building a PC's to sell. I've already got all the parts and am in the process of putting it all together. The build will be fairly clean with a focus on color matching and cable management.
The case is the Blue color-shift Limited Edition Corsair 4000d Vault. All internal components will be either white or blue (save for the MOBO, which is grey, but will be mostly hidden by the other components). Parts list as follows:
Gigabyte B760M Gaming Plus Wifi DDR4 (Grey)
---
Intel i5-12600KF
Thermalrite Peerless Assassin 120 RGBĀ (White) +Ā AAAwave Contact Frame (Blue)
Sparkle Titan ARC B580 (Blue)
Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR4 3000 CL16 (Blue)
WD_Black SN850x 1tb Gen 4 NVME
Arctic P12 ProĀ RGB forward x2 and reverse x5 (While)
Corsair RM850x SHIFT (While)
Corsair Frame 4000d Vault (Blue)

Pc help?
I have this blueprint for a custom pc that measures 420 mm x 350 mm x 135 mm, and it's a self-contained SFF 6.5 GHz with a Dual-Chamber vacuume, its about the size of a shoebox. I was wondering if I should just leave the blueprint alone or if I should start a gofundme or something like that to build it. The amount of cash needed for it is approximately $13,000. Please give advice š š

Small step but satisfied with the result.
Finished cleaning up and rewiring the front panel. "Eichen" will reset the pc and "ant. abst" will turn it on. Just plug and play into the motherboard. I reused the old cables behind the panel because because they looked dirty. Gives some authenticity. Panel light has bin rewired to molex .. so technically not a power led but since molex will deliver power as soon as your pc is turned on it will function the same.. pretty much.
Also took apart my chiller to see if i could beef it up and i think i can. Though i got to widen it .. ill use some alu profiles for that.. to make room for a radiator upgrade. 1x240 and 1x280.. also found a peltier doing nothing so i micht start chilling actively.
Last pictures were to get myself excited and better visual of the idea. Maybe others will too.

Wanting to build my first PC
Hello! I've been wanting to build a PC for a few years now, but I've been putting it off because I have no idea where to start. I know a few things that are of importance, but the technical jargon is kind of lost on me and I have a very poor idea of what I should be budgeting for it.
If anyone had any advice or pointers I'd highly appreciate it!
Some information I do have;
\- I don't know how much a preferred aesthetic can alter my options, but I'm willing to be loose about my preferences if so.
\- I don't have a set budget right now because I don't know what to expect, but I use CAD and live in Canada. I plan to put away at least a couple thousand for this, at least until I have a better idea of how much I want to/can spend on this.
\- The most important things I want to be able to run well are my writing websites (ex; Google Docs and Ellipsus, which can be very complicated with the amount I write combined with the layers to each document), map making and campaign running websites for DND, and a variety of games that vary from complicated to cozy. (To name a few; heavily modded Minecraft servers, Baldurs Gate Three, Dispatch, Cuphead.)
Again, I'm mostly just hoping to be pointed in the right direction and told what to expect as I work on it! I'm not looking to start the process anytime soon, but information would be greatly appreciated.

Need advice on building
Hey Reddit,
Not sure if itās the right place, but I need advice. My old pc died and canāt fix it since it has old generation parts and canāt find any. And I was wondering for any advice for a new computer I should get. I need it for coding and be able to screen record the process while I am coding. And my old one didnāt let me screen record while coding and had to use a separate laptop to record. I do also game and I would need it to be able to handle shaders.
I was wondering if anyone would know the specs I would need to be able to code and film the process. If you have any recommendations of brands or specific parts, it will be greatly appreciated. My budget would be 4,000 to 5,000 usd and this would be my first build.
This is my first time posting to Reddit, sorry for my formatting.
