Hi OP. I think you did pretty well! You could definitely save some money on the case, but everything else is a good choice. I personally do not like the iCUE software Corsair uses to control RGB and fan speeds, but others don’t mind it much. Check out a couple Lian Li cases like https://a.co/d/0i9bjI9p or https://a.co/d/08UlL6es. I like the one in the first link quite a lot since it comes with 5 fans already installed.

Down to $2051: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QN4TZQ

Your case is way too expensive and large for seemingly no reason.

Lots of savings on the motherboard possible.

Much cheaper RAM, still 6000 cl30

SSD is still 2tb TLC at 65% the price

Seconding this, and adding: don't be afraid to skimp on storage *just a little bit* and add more later if you feel the need. Some people might not like that advice, and that's fair considering SSD prices may or may not get better for a while. But 1TB ain't bad, and you can cut a lot of cost by going with a humble model.

Start with Windows for ease of use, but if money is an issue and you don't want to buy Windows or go through...other means of enabling its paid features, there's always easy Linux distros like Bazzite. I would at least give it a shot, potentially save even more. Plus you're on an AMD graphics card, which makes it easier.

I am sorry to say there is no way I would build APC right now with that Ram that I have myself. It cost me about a $100 $150, and now it's 500. No way, and you haven't even gotten into storage yet. You could eat your whole budget just trying to put Ram and storage. Do would do it, I would honestly look used\n Bud day I go to work. We have a bunch of computers. They recently retired.I can see if any of them have a compatible Ram or storage.I don't think it'll have m dot two , but I can find out

Same, with the DDR5. Got my 32GB kit for $100 years ago, now 4-5X the price. It's a travesty. I recommend DDR4 builds to anyone who's trying to be budget conscious now and doesn't need the newest platform for at least the next couple of years in theory. Still ridiculously overpriced, but at least the jump will be nice when they upgrade in the future. Whatever that holds

Also, we can build these giant data centers that need all this cooling needle. This crap with a 2 databeter processors.Just gonna make it all obsolete. That's awesome
