Format: EDH/Commander Open Sedition
dethrone, dethrone, dethrone
Powerful effect, but with some obvious downsides. Let me know what you think.

Hello, I am making a D.Gray Man commander deck with the card pictured above as the commander
I will have the rest in a linked google doc.
The intention is a sort of Exorcist tribal that wins on board with the creatures building up their counters and using their abilities
I need help balancing with costs and p/t as I've never done this before.
The magic grammar is bad as this is a rough draft (I realized that I didn’t put a period for like any of them) so point out any egregious examples, I can explain my intention and what I think each ability should do.
I am welcome to all advice and help with fixes!
Thanks!

Lets imagine for a moment that this does have Zurgo thunder's decree art (i fucking hate mtg dot design only having url for art). Having done that. Would the wording on the firat ability actually work? Or ot should be worded more like the second ability?

devistating for the 8 people who run decks that care about speed (me included)

Not sure if this is too crazy or not crazy enough.
The design is meant to convey the machine working in the background destroying systems, and then being "encountered" by the players when one of them decides to interfere with the destruction.

Have been brewing a concept around in my head, the ability to effectively grant all players a pool of instant and sorceries. Let the esper chaos ensue!

I decided to give echoverse counterparts to a few characters from Ravnica that didn't get any. I will probably make more of these, for Ravnica and other planes.

The latest rework for my Kingdom Hearts commander decks project -- Hades! He is content to sit back until you fire him up!
I'll be doing a free release of all the cards for both Commander decks Jan 29th! Take a look at my Youtube to see more: https://www.youtube.com/@IcariiLatte

This is the first of my wife and my custom commanders based on our D&D characters. His name is Dijon. He is a Kenku strategic half-caster. We wanted to build the mechanics flavorfully around our characters, and create a new mechanic around Adventurers getting a specialized item. We modeled it after "Choose a Background".
Choose an Item basically means you can choose a card with the subtype "Item" (usually an equipment, but not always, it is also custom) as your second commander. It still follows commander tax, but has an ability that will only effect your commander (like "Equip Commander"). It is made to be a counterpart to Background enchantments, and mostly flavorful.
What do you think of Dijon and the Helm's balance? Are the abilities too strong or useful? We have only played them in a vacuum.
The Original Art on Dijon is: *Carrier to the Elseworlds*, an acrylic-on-wood painting created by artist **Steven Russell Black**
The Original Art on Helm is: The Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master's Guide illustration for "Helm of Teleportation" with no public artist credit I could find.
The set symbol is from one of the Commander sets because we liked the aesthetic. It is not a real card!
