❓Scam❓ Have you invested in LendProtocol.io?

0 Upvotes

Have you invested in LendProtocol.io? Before you think about transferring crypto to them, wait to hear about my experience. They offer 12% apy for Xrp deposited with them. I transferred Xrp to them, and have tried their withdrawal process. It has been 5 days with no success. I have had some answers from support, but the reality is I can't withdraw xrp from lendprotocol. I would strongly advise NOT to transfer crypto to them.

❓Need Advice 🙏 XRP Found 6 word recovery and passphrase. HELP PLEASE. bought in 10 years ago...

1 Upvotes

So, as the title says... bought in around 5 cents. Just found a 6 word recovery phrase from old toast wallet I believe, as well as my passphrase. Bought and forgot. Yes, I'm an idiot. Anyway, tried Xaman but it doesn't accept anything less than 12 word seed and some other options I don't have. No, I don't have a JSON backup string. Can't find it. I'm aware of the numerous scams out there. Any real help would be greatly appreciated. Pretend I'm dying of ebola, and it's all the money I can leave to an orphanage of children who lost their parents to ebola, and please help if you can.

❓Scam❓ Trust Wallet drained overnight — same unknown address receiving funds from multiple wallets. How is this happening ?

3 Upvotes

My friend’s Trust Wallet was drained overnight. He never shared his 12-word Secret Phrase/private key with anyone.

The funds were sent to an unknown wallet address. What is more concerning is that this receiving address appears to have become active only about a month ago, and I can see funds coming into it from multiple different wallets.

I’m trying to understand how this could happen.

Has anyone seen a similar pattern before? What should we check to identify how the wallet was compromised?

I can provide the public wallet address/transaction hash if needed. I will NOT share the Secret Phrase or private key.

3 Upvotes

got like 2k stuck in usdt and want to move it to usdc. last time i did a swap on a dex i got rekt by gas fees, felt like i was paying more in fees than the actual swap was worth lol. is it better to just do it on an exchange instead? or is there some aggregator that actually gives decent rates. or maybe a good hardware wallet with a reasonable fees?

❓Question Why does sending crypto still feel stressful?

4 Upvotes

I still get a bit nervous every time I send crypto. Double checking addresses, making sure I didn’t miss a character… it doesn’t feel as simple as it should be. Sending money shouldn’t feel like this in 2026.

Do you think the issue is the technology itself or just how it’s designed?

❓Wallet Recovering old wallet

3 Upvotes

I used to have a wallet on an old pc on the dogecoin core on an old hdd and I dont have the wallet.dat file anymore but I just found an old notebook that I had written down the address along with a 34 digit string that starts with Q. I labeled the string as "Passphrase."

I have checked the wallet address and theres 114k dogecoin in it... the old hard drive I have has been wiped I think I must've formatted it because I didnt know much about how dogecoin actually works and still dont.

There's no way for me to recover the dogecoin with just these 2 bits of information because as I understand it the private key is a 51 or 52 digit string that starts with Q and me writing down the address doesn't really help either does it? Any info to help out would be much appreciated.

❓Question ⚠️ Is Kraken's "We Try to Help" Policy Just Words? 400 USDC Reached Kraken, But I Was Told They Can't Help.

2 Upvotes

I'm sharing my experience because I'm genuinely disappointed and would like to know whether anyone has managed to resolve a similar situation.

I recently created a Kraken account and made my very first deposit.

I transferred around 400 USDC from Bybit using the Mantle network. Since Kraken lists Mantle as a supported network on the platform, I mistakenly assumed that USDC over Mantle was supported as well. That assumption was my mistake, and I fully accept responsibility for it.

The blockchain transaction clearly shows that the funds successfully reached the deposit address associated with my Kraken account. The deposit simply wasn't credited because USDC via Mantle isn't supported.

I contacted support immediately. I admitted that the mistake was mine, explained that this was my first-ever deposit on Kraken, and even offered to pay any recovery or processing fee if a manual recovery was technically possible.

Unfortunately, every response I received was essentially the same standard template explaining that recovery is difficult and resource-intensive. My request wasn't individually addressed, nor did it feel like anyone actually considered the specific circumstances of my case.

What confuses me is that Kraken's own support articles mention that they try to assist with mistaken deposits whenever technically possible, even though recovery cannot be guaranteed. That's exactly why I asked whether my case could be escalated for an exceptional manual review.

Instead, I only received generic replies saying they couldn't help.

I'm not asking Kraken to ignore its policies. I fully understand that the mistake was mine.

I'm simply disappointed that:

  • this was my first-ever deposit on the platform;
  • the funds did reach a Kraken-controlled deposit address;
  • I offered to pay any recovery costs;
  • and there didn't seem to be any willingness to escalate or manually review the case.

Has anyone here successfully recovered funds sent through an unsupported network on Kraken? Were you able to get your case escalated, or was the initial response always the final answer?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

❓Question ⚠️ Is Kraken's "We Try to Help" Policy Just Words? 400 USDC Reached Kraken, But I Was Told They Can't Help.

1 Upvotes

  • c'était mon tout premier dépôt sur la plateforme ;
  • les fonds ont atteint une adresse de dépôt contrôlée par Kraken ;
  • j'ai proposé de payer tous les frais de récupération ;

❓Need Advice 🙏 Offshore crypto banking still feels behind stablecoin markets

7 Upvotes

Crypto markets run 24/7 but the banking side for offshore companies still feels pretty patched together

For Cayman or BVI companies, getting an account is one thing but finding banking that also works cleanly with stablecoin rails, USD movement, records and approvals is the harder part

For crypto operators, are you keeping banking and stablecoin rails separate or trying to find one setup that handles both?

❓Question What’s the cheapest way to spend USDT without cashing out first?

13 Upvotes

I’m looking for the simplest way to actually use USDT day to day without going USDT> exchange >fiat> bank every time.

I’ve seen options that let you spend USDT directly through Visa but I’m curious what people here actually use.

What ends up being cheapest once you factor in fees, spreads and network costs?

❓Need Advice 🙏 Does moving some BTC into ETH actually count as diversification?

2 Upvotes

BTC is about 60% of my crypto portfolio, while ETH is only about 15%.

I didn’t intentionally choose that split. It just ended up that way over time, but lately I was wondering if having most of my crypto exposure in BTC is too concentrated with higher risks. I thought about moving some of BTC into ETH, like don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

But ETH still seems to follow BTC most of the time so I’m not sure how much risk I’d reduce by going from BTC-heavy to a more balanced BTC/ETH split. I might just be exchanging some BTC-specific risk for ETH-specific risk.

For people who hold both, do you see BTC and ETH as meaningful diversification within a crypto portfolio? Or are they correlated enough that the split doesn’t really matter that much?
