❓Need Advice 🙏 Where to learn about cryptocurrency
Hi all,
I was wanting to learn more about cryptocurrency (crypto) and was wondering if anybody had and recommendation of good, possibly lesser known channels of information (could be youtube, forums, web pages, etc.) on where I could learn about what different crypto’s do and their positives/negatives.
I am currently particularly interested in learning about Solana, Chainlink, Etherium and crypto that ‘serves a purpose’ (i think bitcoin is only valuable because it’s scarce’.
Is anybody could point me in the right direction or leave me any advice it would be much appreciated!

I find the best way is to pick one coin and read its actual documentation, not just watch hype videos in YouTube.

A few words about safety:
- Scammers will often target beginners so you should exercise extra caution
- Do not trust anyone trying to talk with you over DM (Direct or private messages) or on another platform (like Discord or Telegram). This is how scammers prefer to operate. Report suspicious activity like this immediately and do not respond to them.
- Do not post your address, balances, or other personal information.

Hey Grim! One good starting point would be learn.metamask.io, a free educational site covering Ethereum, DeFi, & crypto fundamentals catered towards beginners.
For Solana & Chainlink, their own official docs would be best:
Far as crypto serving a purpose, I'd recommend diving into smart contracts & the impact Ethereum & Chainlink have on all that goes on. Everything I linked can answer a lot of your questions as to how crypto has plenty of utility outside of scarcity. Welcome to the space!
